The Zhang Xueliang Former Residence is a renowned attraction of great historical and cultural value and architectural charm, but these issues reported by visitors do, to some extent, impact the visitor experience.
The Zhang Xueliang Former Residence boasts a unique architectural style, featuring a quadrangle courtyard and Western-style buildings that blend Chinese and Western styles. As the residence of Zhang Zuolin and his son, Zhang Xueliang, it has witnessed many important historical events, providing valuable insights into the history from the Beiyang Warlord period to the Liberation period, and possesses significant educational significance. However, the attraction is incredibly popular, often packed with visitors inside and out. During peak hours, the number of visitors is even limited, forcing visitors to wait outside, which inevitably impacts the visitor experience.
The Daqinglou (Big Green Building) is a popular tourist destination, but the flow of visitors there is often erratic, resulting in frequent crowding. Some visitors even complained that they were pushed around by the crowds, preventing them from fully appreciating the area. At the same time, some tourists complained that the phenomenon of being able to join the team by asking the tour guide was unreasonable. This was not fair to tourists who were queuing normally, and might destroy the mood of ordinary tourists. It also reflected that the scenic spot had some shortcomings in the management and coordination of group tourists and individual tourists.
