If you come when the cloud is thick then it is unlikely that you will see anything. Be sure to stay until the light is lit during the evening.
To be honest, the weather was not very good. The mountain was foggy and white, and I could hardly see any scenery. But there were clear signs at every intersection in the scenic area, so I didn't get lost. Although it was foggy, there were few people, so it was still quite comfortable to walk around.

As expected of a national forest park, it's incredibly fun. The guide I made online made me a little anxious, but it was also very enjoyable. However, Zhangjiajie will punish any visitor who doesn't check the weather forecast! Be sure to check the weather forecast when visiting Zhangjiajie!
Came here with my wife and friends. Please make sure to check the weather before you arrive or else you’ll have cloudy photos!

Guizhou Fanjing Mountain has a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. There are tourist buses in the park that take you from the entrance to the cable car. There are plenty of seats along the way. In addition to walking on wooden steps, it is also very easy to play.
It was drizzling the day of our trip, but that didn't dampen our excitement. The cable car ride was shrouded in mist and rain, and the scenery outside was hazy and murky, creating a completely different kind of scenery. After getting off the cable car, we rested in a teahouse and walked up the 4,000 wooden steps to see the Mushroom Rock. It was a truly worthwhile trip.

The pristine environment is too pristine. I personally feel like the attractions above Pigpen Coffee are being developed, and the details are a bit unsatisfactory. A cup of coffee cost 45 yuan, but I didn't quite get the experience I had at the academy. It can't compare to the waterfall coffee experiences in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. However, I was quite satisfied with the service at the B&B I stayed in. The view from the B&B was also very nice. Perhaps I'm just here to enjoy the night view and breathe in the mountain air.
In Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, you will encounter unique customs. Wearing Miao costumes and holding a cow skull with exquisite patterns in hand, with layers of stilt houses and verdant mountains behind him, he seems to be integrated into this ancient and mysterious land. I love this last photo.

The Orange Island Scenic Area may be just a familiar place name to many, but once you truly step inside, you'll discover it transcends mere scenic beauty and becomes a vivid portrayal of dreams, perseverance, and hope. Standing at the head of Orange Island, gazing at the gently flowing Xiangjiang River, it's as if you can see countless individuals striving for excellence on this land. More than just a tourist destination, this place serves as a mirror, reflecting the inner desire within each of us to rise above mediocrity and pursue excellence. Whether it's Mao Zedong's youthful footprints here, or the tourists strolling and snapping photos along the river today, they all evoke a sense of resonance that transcends time and space. The highlight of Orange Island is far more than just its beautiful river views. Its charm lies in its profound cultural heritage and inspiring spiritual power. Standing at the head of the island, gazing up at the "Orange Island Head" sculpture, it seems to remind us: No matter where you are, as long as you harbor a dream, you can find your own stage on this land. Every inch of land here tells a story of struggle, and every leaf carries the seeds of hope. Not to mention the enchanting sunrises and sunsets. In the morning, a golden halo shimmers across the river, igniting a flame of hope for a new day; in the evening, the setting sun paints the water a fiery crimson, as if speaking of endless passion and dreams. Every time I look up, I feel a surge of strength—the energy emanating from history, nature, and the collective energy of every person who has stopped here, reflected, and strived. Of course, Orange Island is more than just a static attraction. Its cultural activities, festivals, and ever-improving infrastructure all speak to its constant renewal, becoming a spiritual symbol that inspires generations. Some say that travel isn't just about sightseeing, but a spiritual awakening. And Orange Island is precisely such a place, a place that stirs the soul and fills it with profound insights. So, when asked, "Is Orange Island Scenic Area worth visiting?" the answer is absolutely yes. It's more than just a scenic spot; it's a celebration of dreams, perseverance, and hope. Everyone who sets foot here can find their own personal strength. What are you waiting for? Bring your dreams to Orange Island and start a wonderful journey of your own!
The train was very comfortable. Although crowded, the wait was quick, and the riverside scenery was beautiful. The most important thing was to check in at the Chairman Mao statue, which was beautiful and meaningful to take photos. You can also take a boat tour to enjoy the light show. The night view of Changsha is breathtaking.

**Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area Tour Experiences and Tips** --- ### **I. Core Experience Highlights** 1. **A Blend of Landscape and Nightscape** - **Natural Landscape**: The Two Rivers and Four Lakes connect the Li River, the Peach Blossom River, and the Four Lakes (Shan Lake, Rong Lake, Gui Lake, and Mulong Lake). Along the way, over ten famous mountains, such as Elephant Trunk Hill and Fubo Mountain, can be seen, perfectly embodying the saying "A thousand mountains surround the wilderness, a river embraces the city." - **Dazzling Nightscape**: Illuminated at night, the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, the Glass Bridge, and the Mulong Lake light and shadow show are like a dream. A night boat tour is especially recommended to experience the romance of the "Venice of the East" (see 2, 8, and 12). 2. **Cultural and Folk Performances** - Take a boat ride to witness traditional performances such as the thousand-year-old osprey fishing and Yao folk dances, and experience Guilin's cultural heritage (see 2 and 6). --- ### **II. Tour Method Comparison** | **Method** | **Features** | **Ticket Price (Adult)** | **Recommended Group** | |----------------|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|------------------------|------------------------| | **Night Cruise** | Approximately 90 minutes, featuring a light show and performances. This is a classic itinerary, but some users report average value for money (see 5, 10). | Night Cruise: Two Rivers and Four Lakes: 210 yuan/person | Suitable for first-time visitors seeking a sense of ritual | | **Day Cruise** | The scenery is more vivid during the day, and the price is affordable, making it suitable for those with ample time (see 3, 14). | Day Cruise: One River and Four Lakes: 90 yuan/person | Suitable for photography enthusiasts and families | | **Free Walking Tour** | Stroll along Rong Lake, Shan Lake, and the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas. The highlight of the night view is free, allowing for flexibility and freedom (see 5, 9, and 12). | Free | Budget-Friendly, In-Depth Experience | --- ### **III. Must-See Attractions** 1. **Sun and Moon Pagodas**: Guilin's landmark, the lights of the Golden Pagoda (Sun Pagoda) and the Silver Pagoda (Moon Pagoda) are reflected on the lake. Nighttime photography is recommended (see 12 and 14). 2. **Elephant Trunk Hill**: Free admission. The city emblem, shaped like a giant elephant drinking water, is especially photogenic during the day (see 12 and 15). 3. **Welcome Bridge (Arc de Triomphe**): A fusion of Chinese and Western styles, the nightscape is atmospheric under the lights (see 12). 4. **Mulong Lake Songcheng**: A naked-eye 3D light show and ancient city walls showcase the historical charm (see 2 and 13). --- ### **IV. Practical Tips** 1. **Transportation** - Take city bus routes 1/2/16 directly to the scenic area, or use a shared e-bike for flexible travel (see 5 and 14). - If driving, check parking in advance to avoid congestion. 2. **Tips to Avoid** - Night boat tour tickets are expensive. If you're on a budget, you can walk and enjoy the view for free (see 5 and 10). - The interior of the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas is filled with shops; no ticket is required (see 5). 3. **Food Recommendations** - Locals love Tiexi Community and Shijiayuan: try Guilin rice noodles (5-8 yuan), Chunji roast goose, and Yangshuo beer-baked fish (see 5 and 13). 4. **Accommodation Options** - Nearby attractions: Guilin Jingxiang Hotel (view Elephant Trunk Hill) and Boyin B&B (near Rong Lake) (see 13 and 14). --- ### **V. User Reviews** - **Positive**: "The osprey fishing display on the night cruise was breathtaking, and the Mulong Lake light show gave me a sense of time travel." (Reference 2) - **Controversial**: "The night cruise ticket is average value for money. I recommend walking to see the free night view of the Twin Pagodas." (References 5, 10) - The Two Rivers and Four Lakes represent the essence of Guilin's landscape and cityscape. While a night cruise offers a strong sense of ritual, walking is also a great way to capture the essence of the scenery. We recommend combining a daytime hike with a night cruise, complemented by visits to nearby Elephant Trunk Hill and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, to experience the unique charm of "scenery within the city."

I was misled by Ctrip. I could have scanned the QR code at the gate this afternoon, but they said they didn't have tickets. I booked a morning ticket. Ctrip should have told me that if I'm in a hurry, I can scan the ticket on site. Using the QR code to enter the park is very convenient.
Beautiful scenery, we went there in the evening! It wasn't super crowded (mid Oct, after the national holiday in China). Just scan the QR code I received from Trip.com at the entrance and walk around. You can rent traditional clothes and take pictures with them, a professional photographer will help with the photoshoot.

It's a classic karst landform, worthy of World Heritage status. During the sweltering summer heat of Chongqing, it's a great tourist option, especially since the cracks provide a refreshing cool down. However, since this is supposed to be a tourist attraction, separating it into a cenote and a crack seems a bit unkind.
The Three Natural Bridges are worth a visit, with beautiful scenery. Due to the heavy rain, the fog was shrouded in a fairy-like atmosphere. The tour guide, Xiao Duan, met each member on time and greeted them warmly. He even stopped by the Wujiang River to let us take photos and enjoy the scenery, which was not included in the tour program. It was very enjoyable. Xiao Duan answered every question from the group and gave us a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Chongqing and Wulong. This small group tour was very enjoyable.

The Beauty of Duxiu Peak When I first heard of Duxiu Peak, I imagined it to be a mountain of unique beauty. But upon actually setting foot on this land and experiencing its charm firsthand, I realized how pale and powerless words pale in comparison to its grandeur. As I journeyed along the winding mountain road, the surrounding scenery was picturesque. The vibrant flowers and trees along the roadside seemed to tell the story of time. Sunlight filtered through the branches, creating patches of light that resembled a shower of gold and silver from nature. A gentle breeze brought fresh air and the fragrance of flowers and plants, leaving one feeling refreshed and invigorated. The further one ascended, the more distinct Duxiu Peak became. Unlike other peaks, which rise in a continuous, unbroken pattern, it soars majestically into the sky, like a lone, proud giant, asserting its authority between heaven and earth. Standing at the foot of the mountain, gazing up, the steep peak inspires awe. As I climbed, step by step, each step felt like a spiritual dialogue with the mountain. Finally, I reached the summit. Gazing out into the distance, I was greeted by a magnificent vista. The hustle and bustle of the city was left behind, leaving only rolling mountains, emerald green fields, and azure sky. The river in the distance, like a silver ribbon, meandered through the land, adding a touch of vibrant beauty to the tranquil scenery. Standing on the summit, feeling the mountain breeze, I felt as if I were one with nature. All worries and fatigue vanished in that moment, leaving only admiration for the beautiful scenery and awe for nature. Duxiu Peak is more than just a mountain; it is a spiritual symbol. It reminds me that in this complex world, we must maintain our uniqueness and independence and bravely pursue our dreams. This trip to Duxiu Peak was a spiritual cleansing and an unforgettable experience. I will cherish this beautiful memory forever and look forward to seeing it again.

The Longji Rice Terraces have two viewing points, No. 1 and No. 2. No. 1 is located farther east of the village, while No. 2 is closer. A flat road connects No. 1 and No. 2, and from both, you can see the famous "Seven Stars and the Moon" in the Longji Rice Terraces.
It is worth a visit. The most beautiful season for Longji Rice Terraces is in the golden autumn of October. You can see the sunset and the sunrise. The layers of terraces look particularly beautiful in the sun. B&Bs are spread all over the scenic area. It is recommended to stay halfway up the mountain in Jinkeng Dazhai, where you can watch the sunrise and sunset, enjoy the breeze and have a panoramic view.
