The name "Sky City" lives up to its reputation. Its unique scenery is worth seeing in all four seasons. Due to the weather, I wasn't able to see the full view; it was very foggy, but the scenery was still breathtaking. I recommend going up from the west and down from the east. A special thank you to the two staff members at the last restroom on the way down. They kept checking in on our itinerary and safety by phone, waiting to escort us down the mountain, and the shuttle bus staff who worked overtime. It truly made me feel at home. Kudos to the scenic area management and staff! I'll definitely go again when the weather is nicer!
It is very important to have good weather. You must go on a sunny day. If it rains, it will stop. If it is foggy, you can't see the scenery. If it is cloudy, there is no scenery. There is still a long way to climb Fanjing Mountain. The top is the most breathtaking.

I took my 80-year-old mother to Huangguoshu. I didn't know the ticket policy, so I bought tickets online in advance. However, the elderly over 80 years old do not need tickets and can have a free companion. The scenic area is quite spectacular.
The Huangguoshu Scenic Area, located in Anshun County, Guizhou Province, boasts two other scenic spots worth visiting, in addition to the Huangguoshu Waterfall: Doupotang Waterfall and Tianxingqiao Waterfall. Doupotang Waterfall was one of the locations used by director Yang Jie in the filming of Journey to the West. During the flood season, Huangguoshu Waterfall's cascading cliffs is breathtaking, with a deafening roar and a refreshing breeze. The steamy air is a breathtaking relief on a hot summer day.

The emerald gem of the Earth's belt is well worth a visit. I recommend hiring a dedicated travel photographer for popular attractions, such as the Small Seven-Arch Stone Bridge, to help visitors capture stunning photos. The boating experience on Yuanyang Lake was excellent, but I didn't go rafting because it was closed when I arrived too late.
This link doesn't include default insurance. You can purchase your ticket at the ticket gate; it's not available at the ticket office. Scenic area insurance is pointless and expensive. It's better to purchase your own travel insurance. It's affordable for extended periods and includes flight delay compensation and medication. The Small Seven-hole Caves are beautiful on a clear day, and the Big Seven-hole Caves are also worth visiting. I recommend getting on and off the boat so you can enjoy both.

The pristine environment is too pristine. I personally feel like the attractions above Pigpen Coffee are being developed, and the details are a bit unsatisfactory. A cup of coffee cost 45 yuan, but I didn't quite get the experience I had at the academy. It can't compare to the waterfall coffee experiences in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. However, I was quite satisfied with the service at the B&B I stayed in. The view from the B&B was also very nice. Perhaps I'm just here to enjoy the night view and breathe in the mountain air.
In Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, you will encounter unique customs. Wearing Miao costumes and holding a cow skull with exquisite patterns in hand, with layers of stilt houses and verdant mountains behind him, he seems to be integrated into this ancient and mysterious land. I love this last photo.

Very easy to use. No need ticket or voucher. Just show passport at the entrance.
It's a classic karst landform, worthy of World Heritage status. During the sweltering summer heat of Chongqing, it's a great tourist option, especially since the cracks provide a refreshing cool down. However, since this is supposed to be a tourist attraction, separating it into a cenote and a crack seems a bit unkind.

A visit to Zhijin Cave in Bijie was truly breathtaking. They say, "After visiting the Five Sacred Mountains, you can't see any other mountains, and after visiting Zhijin Cave, you can't see any more caves." Zhijin Cave is incredibly vast, and the scenery inside is truly unique. The stalactites are incredibly diverse and breathtaking. Don't miss Zhijin Cave when visiting Guiyang. Experience this wonder of the world for yourself and you'll leave with no regrets.
After placing the order, at 4 pm the day before, the tour guide will add you on WeChat to confirm the boarding time and location. We will meet at the Anshun Tourism Distribution Center at 7:05, and go directly to Zhijin Cave via the Vienna Huaguoshan Hotel. The whole journey takes two hours, and then to the Grand Canyon and then to Zhijin Cave. We will meet at 2:20 pm and depart at 2:30 pm, and we will be back at 4 pm. The tour guide is also very serious and responsible.

The Beauty of Duxiu Peak When I first heard of Duxiu Peak, I imagined it to be a mountain of unique beauty. But upon actually setting foot on this land and experiencing its charm firsthand, I realized how pale and powerless words pale in comparison to its grandeur. As I journeyed along the winding mountain road, the surrounding scenery was picturesque. The vibrant flowers and trees along the roadside seemed to tell the story of time. Sunlight filtered through the branches, creating patches of light that resembled a shower of gold and silver from nature. A gentle breeze brought fresh air and the fragrance of flowers and plants, leaving one feeling refreshed and invigorated. The further one ascended, the more distinct Duxiu Peak became. Unlike other peaks, which rise in a continuous, unbroken pattern, it soars majestically into the sky, like a lone, proud giant, asserting its authority between heaven and earth. Standing at the foot of the mountain, gazing up, the steep peak inspires awe. As I climbed, step by step, each step felt like a spiritual dialogue with the mountain. Finally, I reached the summit. Gazing out into the distance, I was greeted by a magnificent vista. The hustle and bustle of the city was left behind, leaving only rolling mountains, emerald green fields, and azure sky. The river in the distance, like a silver ribbon, meandered through the land, adding a touch of vibrant beauty to the tranquil scenery. Standing on the summit, feeling the mountain breeze, I felt as if I were one with nature. All worries and fatigue vanished in that moment, leaving only admiration for the beautiful scenery and awe for nature. Duxiu Peak is more than just a mountain; it is a spiritual symbol. It reminds me that in this complex world, we must maintain our uniqueness and independence and bravely pursue our dreams. This trip to Duxiu Peak was a spiritual cleansing and an unforgettable experience. I will cherish this beautiful memory forever and look forward to seeing it again.

It was really stunning to see the golden rice fields covering the mountains before the harvest at the end of October. It was perfect for a family trip! If you are starting from Guilin, it is recommended to rent a car directly to the B&B, take the highway for an hour to the village, and then take the winding mountain road for about 20-30 minutes to reach the B&B in Jinkeng Village, which saves a lot of time.
If it weren't for holidays, the scenery in the scenic area would be truly stunning! However, we went there during National Day. The 20-kilometer road from the ticket office to the Dazhai Terraces was jammed for three hours, and the cable car line took two hours. The experience was truly disappointing!

It feels like all ancient towns are the same now, with no distinctive features. The shopping malls are rarely visited, but what makes it different from other ancient towns is that you can climb the city walls, which feels like the Great Wall. Food is very cheap, with sugarcane juice at the entrance only 7 yuan a cup, and the set meal at "South City Old Things" is 38 yuan, which is more than one person can finish!
Built during the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty, this ancient town is also the closest ancient city to downtown Guiyang. It's about 30-40 kilometers from downtown, a short subway ride and a taxi for around 10 yuan. It's also easy to find a taxi when leaving (perhaps it's not peak season). Although the ancient town is quite diverse, since you're in Guiyang, you should still visit and try the famous Qingyan pig's trotters. You can also combine this with a visit to the nearby Yelang Valley (about 8 kilometers away). This would take about a day.

A Guizhou artist has created an interesting park using the local terrain. The park features performances, small handicrafts, and photography enthusiasts.
The entrance fee is not expensive, and it's definitely worth a visit. The park is shaded by green trees, making it a very pleasant place to be this season. There's also an ugly things market, which is worth a visit.
