Gödöllő Palace, also known as Grassarkovich Palace, is often directly called "Sissi Castle". It was built in the 18th century and was once a manor of Hungarian nobles. After the establishment of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Hungarian nobles renovated the manor castle and presented it to Habsburg King Joseph and Queen Elizabeth (Princess Sissi). Since then, it has been used as a palace for the Austrian king to visit Hungary. The palace also preserves many of Princess Sissi's supplies and many precious portrait oil paintings. Since photography is not allowed indoors (I really don't like this kind of petty-mindedness), I can only take some photos at the gate and back garden.
The ticket for the castle is 2,600 forints.

The Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden is a lovely zoo and is definitely worth a visit. The ticket price is very reasonable and it is very convenient to take public transportation here. We went to the zoo on the hottest day in Budapest. There are many animals and plants in it. If you have children with you, it is recommended to choose a day to visit.
