We booked the 2.5 hour clansman & castle freedom cruise. This tour departed from Clansman Harbour to cruise across the dark waters of Loch Ness and 1 hour exploration of the Urquhart Castle ruins site. Great adventure! 👍🏻
A ruin but ful of magic! Worth visiting. There is also a small cinema which shows a 10 minute video about the history..

Nice cruise trip. The water is black and there is a canal. Many souvenirs shops with cute Nessies.
The famous Loch Ness Monster is said to have appeared here. Those who are lucky enough to take a photo of the monster can earn 20,000 pounds. Apart from that, this looks like a quiet and peaceful town. There are tourists in groups of three or four. Boats are neatly moored. There are little rabbits everywhere. They point to the west mountain at sunset. Fort Augustus is lit with street lights in the evening. Take a walk here and your heart will be as peaceful as the surface of Loch Ness.

Loch Ness by Jacobite Loch Ness cruise is the biggest highlight of this trip to the UK, it's very fun! Loch Ness scenery is particularly beautiful, the cruise feels romantic and comfortable, the boat is very new, it's worth it!
When you arrive at Loch Ness, you must take a boat trip. We booked a boat from a local company, which has multiple boarding and disembarking points. So in order to avoid walking back to the road, we chose to go down to the castle. The weather was good on the lake, and it was very pleasant to look at the lake view and the mountains on both sides. Of course, the lake monster cannot be found. The BBC organized people and spent two or three years blocking both ends, but they still couldn't find it. The facilities on the boat are quite complete, and there is Costa coffee.

Culloden Battlefield is a museum built to commemorate the Battle of Culloden. It occupies a very large area and several iconic buildings are still there. The museum retains some ancient weapons and items. The most noteworthy thing is that there is an exhibition hall with four white walls. After visitors enter, the screening of Culloden War begins! I cried when I saw armies from both sides surging from all directions. I watched the Scots (from various tribes) holding swords against the guns of the English army! The battle was tragic with eggs hitting rocks. The roar of the enemy's killing battles and the roar of guns went to the center. The point (where I was standing) hit, it was immersive and terrifying. Although Scotland suffered heavy casualties, they won! So later Scotland existed.
Culloden Old Battlefield, I really like the first part of their exhibition, which explains the background of the war, the scene when the war took place, and the people who died. If you want to take pictures, the scenery is actually very ordinary. But it feels like this war should have left a deep mark in Scottish history.
