The scenic area is free and the service facilities are quite good. There are a lot of people during the day, but it is orderly. There are fewer people at night, so you can take photos easily. There is also a concert at Gate 3. I had a wonderful Mid-Autumn Festival.
The scenery is quite beautiful, but it was too crowded during National Day, and Guilin was very hot at 36 degrees Celsius, making it unsuitable for children. A visit during cooler weather would be more comfortable. Also, the scenery in downtown Guilin isn't truly world-class; if you want to see the real scenery, you should go to Yangshuo, which is a true landscape gallery.

The climb to Duxiu Peak takes only about 10 to 20 minutes. There are some optional paid activities (such as rubbings, worshipping the Tai Sui deity, and shopping). The interactive rubbing activity, where you only get a thin piece of paper, is a bit unreasonable, as it charges a fee to take it away. The cafes in the scenic area are also quite expensive. This is one of the less cost-effective attractions in Guilin. We suggest that the local cultural and tourism authorities adopt a more dignified management approach. The visitor experience is crucial.

A Li River cruise is a highlight of Guilin, and we chose to take a boat from Guilin to Yangshuo. The three-star boat was clean and comfortable, and they also provided Guilin snacks. Because the pier is quite far from the city center, nearly an hour's drive, we booked a direct bus that would pick us up directly at our hotel. The 238 yuan price included not only the boat fare, but also the transfer fee and a standard 30 yuan boxed lunch. It was a great value and highly recommended. Separate boat tickets would cost 215 yuan, the boxed lunch 30 yuan, and a taxi to the pier would have cost several dozen yuan more. The onboard service was also excellent, with constant explanations and reminders of scenic spots, and interspersed with performances and interactive games.
We chose a three-star Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. Booking tickets through the mini-app was very convenient. The cabin was spacious and bright, the seats were clean and comfortable, and free tea and snacks were provided. Light meals were also available for purchase.
The boat cruised smoothly on the river, and the scenery along both sides was picturesque. At each scenic spot, a guide would share stories about the area, giving visitors a deeper understanding of the Li River culture. It was a great experience, and the four-hour cruise was not boring at all. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs it.

One of the highlights of a trip to Yangshuo, Guilin, is the scenic beauty of the route. From a price-performance perspective, there's little difference between buying a first- or second-floor deluxe seat, as you'll likely be on the third-floor deck for the best views anyway. For your reference,

As one of the Five Great Mountains, it's steeped in cultural heritage. Don't miss the magnificent Nanyue Martyrs' Shrine, a place dedicated to the heroes of the Anti-Japanese War. The Fanyin Ancient Trail is worth a walk; it takes about an hour from the shrine down to the memorial archway at the foot of the mountain.
There is a shuttle bus, which is really convenient. The latter part of the climb is not very tiring. The scenery at the top of the mountain is not bad. It is worthy of being one of the Five Great Mountains! It is worth going. It is not tiring for parents and children.

Gaoyiling is still worth a visit overall. Even if you don't play the amusement equipment, it is a good choice to just climb the mountain. This time I chose the 4-hour route, which basically circled from the South Gate. If you go on a sunny day, remember to buy more water.
I didn't expect that there is such a beautiful scenic spot in Chenzhou, Hunan. I will come again next time I have the chance. The overall scenic spot is very good, but the weather was too hot these two days and I didn't prepare sun protection tools in advance.

It was a truly fascinating experience.
First, the scenic area had many well-organized recreational activities, so there was no need to be idle.
Second, the activities had local characteristics.
Finally, the entire visit was a joy.
The show was good, but the confusion in ticket prices was a problem. The prices for the same show were different at different times, and the prices for B&Bs offline were similar, but much cheaper online. These routines are still the same as they were more than a decade ago.
