Huangcheng Xiangfu is the former residence of Chen Tingjing, a famous prime minister of the Qing Dynasty. It was named because Emperor Kangxi visited it twice. Chen Tingjing, whose courtesy name was Ziduan and whose pseudonym was Shuoyan, was from Huangcheng Village, Beiliu Town, Yangcheng County, Shanxi Province. He was not only the teacher of Emperor Kangxi, but also a famous minister of the time. He was appointed as the Grand Secretary of Wenyuan Pavilion and held a high position.
