You can observe the adorable giant pandas up close, with lively scenes like adults leisurely eating and cubs playing and frolicking, which is extremely interesting. The park also features popular science exhibitions and interactive programs, allowing children to gain in-depth knowledge about giant panda conservation and enhance their awareness of ecological protection. Highly recommended!
The location of Hampton by Hilton Chengdu Chunxi Road is very good, with convenient transportation and easy travel. It is a ten-minute walk to Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street. The hotel rooms are clean and hygienic, the bedding is comfortable, and the room has a free mini-bar, which is replenished free of charge every day. The breakfast is rich, and I especially like the grain hot drink. Wayne gave me a very cute souvenir. I will choose it again next time.

Sanxingdui tickets were sold out in seconds during the summer vacation. By chance, I saw a comment from a celebrity and booked it, and it worked out perfectly! The team's overall service was simple and clear. The instructor explained while arranging where to stand, which was a very reasonable arrangement. The tour lasted 3 hours, with a 15-minute break in between. I listened carefully throughout the entire process and was able to take all the necessary photos. Great!
It is really necessary to visit a museum and have a reliable guide. I took my son to a VIP private guide for two people. Although there was no microphone and there were quite a lot of people, it did not affect the experience at all. The lady was very attentive and prepared a lot of materials on her phone to accompany the explanation. It was very vivid.

A must-see check-in spot in Chengdu, inside the wetland park. The outside environment is nice and shady with green trees. There is a three-person sculpture attraction in the park, and there are many famous poems underground. It is still a good place to take children for a walk. The scenic area is still very large, but there are not many things related to Du Fu. 🤣. Along the way, there were many people during the summer vacation... Complaint: this is also considered an educational base, and the 50 yuan ticket is actually a bit expensive...
Today's itinerary was particularly meaningful. We followed Teacher Liu into Du Fu's Thatched Cottage and strolled through it. Every brick and tile was imbued with Du Fu's deep love for his country and family. Teacher Liu's explanations were excellent, lively, and engaging, allowing the children to follow along closely. We learned about the poet's turbulent life, from his early years filled with lofty ambitions to his middle age, when he experienced the An-Shi Rebellion and displacement. His poetry gradually shifted from expressing personal ambition to deeply descriptive portrayals of social realities and the suffering of ordinary people. Each poem truly captured that turbulent era. We felt as if we were immersed in the turbulent times of the Tang Dynasty, experiencing Du Fu's joys, sorrows, and anger. The simple wooden gate and the solemn and awe-inspiring Temple of the Ministry of Works were awe-inspiring. Here, we learned that Du Fu had been awarded the title of "Reviewer of the Ministry of Works." Huang Tingjian and Lu You are enshrined on either side of Du Fu's statue within the temple. All three of them were dedicated to the art of poetry, and their legacy lives on today. The most anticipated attraction is the thatched cottage area. This recreated thatched cottage, where Du Fu once lived, depicted the simple furnishings of a mansion where "there was no dry place by the bed, and the rain fell like hemp, but it never stopped." Du Fu's life was truly harrowing, yet despite this, he still managed to express his profound concern for the world by expressing his desire for a thousand mansions, "To shelter all the poor and the poor, and to bring them joy." This compassion for the world deeply moved the students. They gathered together, diligently filling out study guides and sharing their understanding of Du Fu's poetry, appreciating the poetry's charm and the poet's greatness through this exchange. Studying at Du Fu's Thatched Cottage not only allowed us to understand Du Fu's life and poetry, but also, through the interplay of history and present, to appreciate the profoundness of China's fine traditional culture.

The zoo opens before 8 o'clock. You must go early to see the giant pandas. They are quite lively and the red pandas are also very cute. The tree climbing is 666. The ticket price is 24. Children's tickets are half price. It is very cost-effective and worth spending 2-3 hours to play.
The giant pandas are superstars. Go early and clock out when it gets hot. There are many other animals. Transportation is very convenient. There is a light rail directly to the entrance. The East Second Gate is the main entrance and it is very close to the Giant Panda Pavilion.

Jinsha and Sanxingdui are both representatives of the ancient Shu culture. Due to time reasons, Jinsha is in the city and can be reached by subway and bus. It is convenient, and Jinsha has the Sun Bird.
The ruins are quite interesting, but the display of cultural relics needs to be updated. Compared with Sanxingdui, they are a bit old-fashioned. The tour guide seemed to be bored, but we were the first group to visit in the morning. In short, there are treasures, but the exhibition layout also needs to keep pace with the times.

A small park which you can complete the walk within 2 hours. Go around 8 am to enjoy the park with less crowd. Try to go straight to the small panda (red panda) area first to see them roam freely before going to view the big pandas. Overall a fun experience.
If you go there after 12:30 in the afternoon, you can basically only see the pandas in the glass house. I climbed up the slope for half a day to see the wild red pandas but never saw any. In conclusion, you must go to the zoo early!!!

I went to Chengdu to experience Sichuan Opera. The overall feeling was average. The venue and costumes were a bit old. My favorite parts were the face-changing performances and the rubber band lighting. There was a very beautiful girl with dimples when she smiled.
It's on the second floor behind Wenshu Temple. The venue is very large and there are like 2 or 3 performance halls. The performance lasts about an hour and there are several good performances. The face-changing is also very good. The ticket price is very worthwhile.

The Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area in Siguniang Mountain is quite nice. The bus ride into the area was very fast, and we were on the bus after just a few minutes of waiting. The guides along the way were very helpful. The scenery is beautiful and well worth a visit. If you're traveling with children, you absolutely must try the rafting; it's incredibly enjoyable. There are convenient places to eat and drink at the top of the mountain, and there are also restaurants in the middle of the scenic area. The restrooms are also quite clean. There are two downsides. The first is that the parking lot is a bit small and too expensive, more expensive than parking at other scenic areas. The second is that the bus stop requires you to walk up the hill after parking and then down the hill to the boarding point. It's not very tourist-friendly, which is a big difference from Jiuzhaigou.
The Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area in Siguniang Mountain has very beautiful scenery, with towering mountains and turbulent rivers. The scenic shuttle bus takes people to the highest point: you can play down in turn, which is very energy-saving. The redwood forest at the end is 3,800 meters above sea level, so be careful of altitude sickness!

Teacher Ren’s explanations are lively and interesting, which attracts children and adults alike. Teacher Ren is not only professional but also has his own ideas and insights. I recommend Teacher Ren for his professional explanations of Sichuan Museum and Chengdu Museum!
Well worth a visit. I also saw a special exhibition today, which was very rewarding. This museum probably has the most cultural and creative works in China. The exhibition halls dedicated to the Zeng and E states are quite unique.
