The architecture is exquisite, with numerous beautiful buildings within the garden, such as the Listening to Rain Pavilion. In front of the pavilion is a lotus pond, with banana trees and bamboo groves complementing the surrounding scenery. Regardless of the season, one can hear different sounds of rain while sitting inside the pavilion, creating a poetic atmosphere. For attire, Hanfu, modern Chinese clothing, or cheongsams are recommended, as they complement the garden's ambiance and result in excellent photos. In autumn, orange trees laden with fruit can be found near the Jade-Leaning Pavilion, and bright orange firethorn berries are hidden in the bushes beneath the Emerald Green Pavilion, adding vitality to the garden.
Is really a nice place to visit, cause can see a lot of old building and feel the vibe like you are in dynasty era. But is hard to take nice photo, too crowded! Everyone is pushing and waiting for your spot.

Niushou Mountain Scenic Area is a shining pearl of Nanjing's cultural tourism, well worth a visit. Its natural scenery and cultural heritage complement each other perfectly. Niushou Mountain, at 242.9 meters above sea level, boasts twin peaks that stand side-by-side like a celestial palace. Its scenery varies with the seasons: cherry blossoms in spring resemble snow, while autumn brings a misty haze, forming the "Niushou Misty Haze," one of the forty-eight scenic spots of ancient Jinling. It is also the birthplace of the Niutou Zen sect, preserving Tang Dynasty cliff carvings, the former fortress of Yue Fei's resistance against the Jin Dynasty, and the tomb of Zheng He, among other historical sites that tell tales of a thousand years of history. The architecture of the scenic area is also breathtaking. The Buddha Palace, built on an abandoned mine pit, blends ecological restoration with architectural art, winning both the Luban Award and the Zhan Tianyou Award. Inside, the Thousand Buddha Hall features a gilded dome that reflects beautifully in a mirror-like pool, exuding solemnity and magnificence. The Buddha Pagoda atop the mountain, designed in the Tang Dynasty style, echoes the Hongjue Temple Pagoda, offering panoramic views of Jinling city from its summit. Furthermore, the scenic area offers a variety of experiential activities. At the "Zen and Tea in Harmony" experience hall, visitors can feel the tea ceremony of the Tang and Song dynasties; at Wuzhen Hall, they can experience intangible cultural heritage handicrafts; and at Rulian Theater, the live-action performance "The Spring and Autumn Annals of Niushou" uses multimedia to tell a thousand-year-old story. The scenic area also thoughtfully offers the "Digital Niushou" mini-program, providing services such as audio guides, and transportation is very convenient. The only drawback is that the scenic area's ticket price is relatively high, and the large crowds during holidays may affect the visitor experience. However, overall, Niushou Mountain Scenic Area combines historical depth, aesthetic value, and modern services, making it a Jiangnan retreat where one can see history, touch the present, and gain insight into the future.
I stayed at the Hilton Niushou Mountain the night before. The next day, after breakfast, I took the hotel shuttle bus to the east gate of the scenic area. Nanjing residents can get half-price tickets now, which is very convenient. This is my third visit to Niushou Mountain. The autumn colors are very strong this time of year, and the scenery is beautiful. The underground palace is still as magnificent as ever and definitely worth a visit.

Choosing this hotel for my business trip was such a wise decision! The environment is simple yet sophisticated, exuding a strong business feel. The public areas are clean and orderly, and the rooms are spacious with clear separation between work and rest areas. The facilities are tailored to business needs, with a large desk, super-fast internet, and a superbly separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The service is efficient and professional; the front desk quickly handles check-in and check-out and even helps store luggage, with an exceptionally fast response time. The cleanliness is impeccable; the bedding is spotless, and the washbasin is thoroughly cleaned with no hard-to-reach corners. Staying here for business trips is both efficient and comfortable!
I happened to be there during the Chrysanthemum Festival at Slender West Lake. The weather was sunny, and the lake was teeming with visitors. The chrysanthemums, osmanthus blossoms, and the yellow, red, and green leaves created a vibrant early autumn atmosphere. Ducks and swans swam freely in the lake, and I even spotted a black swan flying overhead! It was truly refreshing.

Wuzhen, Xizha I arrived early today to attend the Internet Conference opening tomorrow. The venue was being set up everywhere. I also made a point of seeing the night view. Overall, Wuzhen was just so-so. My personal ranking of the four ancient towns: Xitang, Wuzhen Xizha, Tongli, Wuzhen Dongzha, Zhouzhuang Morning: Dongzha, 2-3 hours Lunch break Afternoon/Evening: Xizha, 4-5 hours. A combined ticket for Dongzha and Xizha is more economical, but still too expensive (190 RMB combined ticket).

I came for Dudu, but unexpectedly found myself surrounded by a sea of people, much like Dudu himself. The park was noticeably clean and well-maintained, but there were just too many people! Also, the souvenirs and merchandise were indeed very good to buy, and the prices were quite reasonable.
The zoo wasn't too crowded on Monday, there were no queues. Only one kindergarten was on an autumn field trip. The African Song performance was quite good. This was my second time visiting the zoo, but I still didn't see everything.

The scenic area boasts numerous historical sites, including stone inscriptions of Zhang Ji's poems, stone statues of Hanshan and Shide, and fragments of inscriptions by Wen Zhengming and Tang Yin. It is a renowned pilgrimage site, featuring the twelve sacred scenic spots of Hanshan Temple: Sunset Glow at the Mountain Gate, Puzhao Pagoda, Hanshan and Shide's Inquiry, Harmony Ancestral Temple, Traces of Hanshan and Shide, Millennium Bell Chimes, Ancient Stele Corridor, Pagoda Shadow, Chinese Poetry Stele, Celestial Echoes, Harmony and Blessing Path, and Night Mooring at Maple Bridge.
Standing on Jiangcun Bridge, listening to the bell of Hanshan Temple and watching the boats passing by below, I silently recited Zhang Ji's "Mooring at Maple Bridge at Night": "Outside Suzhou city, the bell of Hanshan Temple tolls at midnight, reaching the passenger boats." What a beautiful scene this is!

The Yuantouzhu Scenic Area boasts beautiful scenery. This time, we went directly from our hotel to the Yuantouzhu Wharf, strolled along the cherry blossom avenue, absorbed the essence of nature, climbed the Yuantouzhu rock, and gazed at Taihu Lake, where the water and sky merged into one.
The boat tours on Taihu Lake are more cost-effective than those on West Lake, as the price is included in the entrance fee, and the boat ride is longer and more enjoyable. There's also a shuttle bus between the scenic area entrance and the dock, which is included in the scenic area's transportation plan. Don't bother taking the overpriced electric cart; it's completely useless. The lotus flowers and other scenic spots along the way are also very beautiful and refreshing. There are also many things to see on the islands, including Huixian Bridge and some Taoist sites. Overall, it's worth a visit.

Overall, it was alright… Each child received a small gift upon check-out… The kids really liked the dinosaur egg… Since it's a dinosaur resort hotel, there were many dinosaur decorations for photos, and you could see the dinosaur park from the windows… Secondly, regarding the hotel experience, I'd like to offer a small suggestion: the toilet was really too small… Also, I hope they can add a curtain to the screen between the shower and the sleeping area to increase privacy… And the blankets were like this after just one night, which is a bit disproportionate to the price… Everything else was fine…
Dinosaur Park is definitely worth a visit. It has attractions for all ages, from children to adults. My favorite part was the shows; the kids loved them, and the experience was fantastic.

It's only one-fifth the size of the Humble Administrator's Garden, but I spent almost twice as much time there. The varied terrain and ever-changing scenery are delightful, but walking around here is tough on your knees 😂
Lion Grove Garden is the most representative of Suzhou gardens, and it's a popular choice for first-time visitors to Suzhou. It's also where I.M. Pei, one of the world's most renowned architects, spent his youth. When I first entered Lion Grove Garden in the last century, I was deeply attracted by its simplicity, tranquility, ingenious design, and Chinese aesthetics. Thirty years later, even though we were among the first to enter, the bustling crowds instantly filled the garden. The garden remains the same, but its beauty has been diminished. My only suggestion is to visit when there are fewer people to truly experience the gentle, serene beauty of Jiangnan.

The mountain isn't high, unlike the large mountains in the north. It only takes about half an hour to climb to the top. The scenery along the way is quite beautiful. It's smaller than I imagined, and the path is entirely paved with stone slabs. It becomes extremely slippery and dangerous on rainy days, so it's best to go on a sunny day. The Tiger Hill Pagoda is leaning, somewhat reminiscent of the Leaning Tower of Pisa in China.
Tiger Hill is hailed as the premier scenic spot in Suzhou. The great Song Dynasty poet Su Shi once said, "To visit Suzhou and not see Tiger Hill is a great regret!" During the osmanthus season, with clear skies, it's the perfect time for a visit. Tiger Hill isn't high up, so a leisurely stroll along its winding paths, surrounded by the fragrant blossoms, is quite enjoyable. There are many historical sites and legends along the way, making it quite interesting. The luggage storage area at the entrance is a convenient feature for visitors.
