Although small in scale, the Taoyang New Village Museum focuses on a specific theme, vividly showcasing the changing lives and community memories of Jingdezhen ceramic workers. The exhibits are simple yet full of life, offering a warm and relatable corner for visitors eager to learn about the human stories behind the porcelain capital. If your schedule allows, it's worth a visit.
This is a scenic area that combines fun, shopping, and dining. You can see the entire process of ceramic production, from material selection to firing, buy your favorite tea, and finally enjoy a delicious dinner. You could easily spend half a day exploring it.

Nanjing Hongshan Zoo is a charming zoo; the animals all seem very happy. Even we, the visitors, felt happy and joyful. I've already been twice, and I think I'll come a third and fourth time. The area around the zoo is fantastic; I love it!
I was skeptical when I saw someone say a visit to the park takes 5 hours, but I ended up spending just as much time there myself. I really enjoyed the panda enclosure and rare bird enclosure near the North Gate. It was a bit of a shame that the famous panda cub, Dudu, wouldn't show its full face! The monkey mountain at the end was quite interesting too. The bear and tiger enclosures were so-so, and Kala was rather lazy. However, at 60 yuan, it's still very good value for money and worth a visit.

The Hubei Provincial Museum houses over 240,000 artifacts, including nearly 1,000 pieces of national first-class cultural relics. As of February 2023, it occupies a total land area of 85,000 square meters and a total building area of 114,000 square meters, of which 36,000 square meters are exhibition space. The museum is laid out as a south and north building, with two independent east and west exhibition halls. Among its artifacts are the Zeng Hou Yi chime bells, the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue, and the Tiger-shaped Drum Stand.
Our tour guide, Chen Yao, was very professional. She provided detailed explanations of the museum's treasures and arranged the route reasonably. With so many visitors today, she saved us a lot of time.

The scenery is beautiful and worth the ticket price! You must buy the combined ticket, plus the sightseeing bus ticket for the entire scenic area for 30 yuan. The 10 yuan ticket is for a one-way trip and expires after one ride, but the 30 yuan ticket allows unlimited rides, which is a great deal!
The entrance fee of 30 yuan is not expensive. There are quite a lot of visitors who get to experience the luxurious lifestyle of the Chiang Kai-shek couple. The sycamore-lined avenue at the entrance is less crowded and has beautiful scenery, making it a great spot for taking photos.

It was a very good experience. Thank you to the guide for the excellent explanation. Although I didn't use a headset, I could hear very clearly, and the guide answered all my questions. They were very professional.
This is a free attraction and the most worthwhile place to visit in Jingdezhen. You can skip other places if you're short on time, as they're mostly commercialized. Only here can you truly experience the charm of the porcelain capital. The museum is huge and attracts many visitors. Nowadays, every city is building ancient towns and museums, which seems to be a standard feature of urban development. However, museums with a real soul are few and far between. This museum truly showcases the unique charm of our country. I suggest you try your best to make a reservation and experience the charm of the porcelain capital.

Saying "Visit the Forbidden City in the north, then the ancient kilns in the south" is an exaggeration; it can't compare to the Forbidden City. However, it's still worth a visit when you're in Jingdezhen. Although the entrance fee is a bit expensive, there are far fewer people, allowing you to stroll leisurely, observe the kiln-making process, and listen to performances of porcelain musical instruments. There's a ten-minute performance at 2 PM sharp. It's also great for taking photos, so come and experience it!
Very good tour experience. I hired a special tour guide to explain the production process of porcelain. I also visited ancient kilns from different periods and bought the porcelain I liked. It was very good.

If you're visiting Nanjing, you absolutely must check out the Nanjing Museum. It's a huge place with tons of exhibits and a fantastic experience. The museum is structured as one building with six galleries: a history gallery, a special exhibition gallery, a digital gallery, an art gallery, an intangible cultural heritage gallery, and a Republican-era gallery. Even a cursory glance could take a whole day to explore. The audio guides are very user-friendly, with several types available for adults, students, and children, catering to different age groups. The replica Republican-era street below is quite immersive. There are also many souvenirs available; I bought these building block fridge magnets, which are quite suitable for kids and also have a nice souvenir value.
Fantastic and huge museum. Free but you must reserve tickets in advance on wechat (very difficult, make sure to do it 7 days in advance as they get booked up). Very little English, bring a translator app. I spent 6 hours here, could have spent more. There's 3 buildings:1. North building has 6 amazing galleries of regional history from dinasours and prehistory through Qing. Highlight of Jaingsu. 2. West building is mostly just 20th cent artists (skippable imo), but the basement is a huge recreated Republican-era Nanjing Street. Every storefront is an actual shop you can buy things at. Feels a bit like a commercialized version of the Japanese Edo museums. No historical artifacts or interpretation - 100% Disney-style, but still highly recommended. There's even a theater with live performances (English subtitles).3. Northwest buildings holds 15 temporary exhibition galleries. The first floor seemed to hold the blockbuster one (Oct 2025 was a huge encyclopedic gallery of Persian artifacts, really delightful). Higher floors seemed to hold thematic displays of Ming/Qing artifacts, likely ftom the Republican-era collection left behind in 1949. There's a cafe on the top floor along with a nice terrace. There's paid luggage storage before entry, may need a Chinese phone number though.

The museum is new, very clean, and beautifully decorated. It's not too crowded, and it takes about an hour to see everything. The ticket is cheap, so it's definitely worth a visit.
It was raining in the ancient town, so I could only go back to the hotel and browse my phone. Thinking about checking my itinerary, I came across the Nanjing Six Dynasties Museum, which I visited last year. The collection isn't large, but it offers a glimpse into Nanjing from ancient times to the present. The museum's design is also quite nice. If you're ever in Nanjing, the Nanjing Six Dynasties Museum is definitely worth a visit.

It's OK. There is a parking lot. There are games inside where you can win coins. It's quite interesting. The food is average and tastes okay. The red envelope grabbing part is too crazy. I didn't go to other places. The ticket price feels like a rip-off.
The price is not expensive at all. How should I put it? The scenery is basically man-made, but it can also give tourists some new experiences. There is also the night view on the mountain, the bright artificial starry sky and fireflies, which is still very beautiful! It's not bad if you lower your expectations a little hahahaha

A gentle evening breeze, carrying the unique moisture of the Yangtze River, brushed against the gunwale as the cruise ship slowly departed the dock, gradually unfolding the night of Wuhan. On the river, shimmering waves meandered along the wake of the ship, like scattered diamonds, reflecting the lights that lit up one after another on both banks—the eaves of the Yellow Crane Tower were adorned with a warm yellow halo, like a jade palace floating in the night; the neon lights along the riverbank stretched along the shoreline, intertwining with the lights of the rows of buildings on the opposite bank, weaving a flowing galaxy of light and shadow.
The Hankou River Beach is the most scenic and longest section of the riverfront, perfect for a leisurely stroll rather than a rushed photo op. It frequently hosts various cultural and tourism promotional events. There's a chrysanthemum exhibition currently on display, which I recommend checking out; the panoramic views are quite pleasant.
