Tianmenshan National Forest Park is well worth a visit. If you're not keen on the tiring experience, you can pay an extra 32 yuan to take the 12-step escalator up the mountain to the summit. The scenery is breathtaking, and it's a great spot to view the sea of clouds. It's also worth noting that purchasing tickets on Ctrip is very convenient and quick, and you can enter directly with your ID card upon admission.
It’s important to check the weather before you go. We went on a rainy day and couldn’t see anything on the mountain, but we were lucky enough to get a good view of the cave before it was enveloped by the fog.

Zhangjiajie Forest Park is well developed. Each route is very clear and the scenery is different. It is worth a visit. The three ropes and one ladder are actually not very interesting. It is just an elevator. But it is very friendly to the elderly. It is very labor-saving and you can see the scenery without any effort.

It was quite difficult and stressful to coordinate the entry ticket purchase. I was worried I wouldn’t get a ticket due to the limited availability. I discovered that you can only purchase tickets online during the park business hours. The park is beautiful but I was unlucky in picking a rainy day. I couldn’t switch to another day due to the no refund policy.
I went hiking. Fanjing Mountain has a high vegetation coverage rate, rich flora and fauna, and the air and environment are very good. The hiking trail is of moderate difficulty. There are Old Golden Summit and Red Cloud Golden Summit on the top of the mountain. The road is too narrow to go up and down, which is easy to get stuck and queue. I was unlucky and encountered heavy rain and fog when I went there, so I couldn't take pictures of the scenery on the top of the mountain.

In Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, you will encounter unique customs. Wearing Miao costumes and holding a cow skull with exquisite patterns in hand, with layers of stilt houses and verdant mountains behind him, he seems to be integrated into this ancient and mysterious land. I love this last photo.
In fact, to be honest, the cost of tickets, accommodation, and meals for 2 days and one night is more than 1,000 yuan, plus the transportation fee. I came here to see a starry night view, which is hard to say. The scenic area has been well thought out and has provided many activities. It is also very clean in the morning. However, it is not Qianhu Miao Village now. Qianhu B&B is more suitable. There are B&Bs next to the stairs coming down from the viewing platform.

We joined a bus tour with 2–8 participants. There were two of us, and two other groups of five people each.Our tour guide, Eric, provided detailed explanations and took photos for us throughout the trip. Thanks to his kindness and attentiveness, we had a wonderful day! He’s truly an excellent guide.You’ll get to see breathtaking scenery that you’ve never seen before, but one thing to note is that there’s quite a bit of walking, so I recommend bringing water and some snacks.If you come to Chongqing, I highly recommend booking this tour!

My parents said it was beautiful. Although the ticket price was higher than Zhangjiajie, the layout was quite good. My parents are 60 years old and they visited Qixingzhai and Yunlong Ground Crack in one day. They said they were lucky because the fog was clearing, so they were able to take a photo of an incense stick. The overall scenery is very beautiful.
Be sure to check the weather before you go! Due to the rain in the previous few days, the Yunlong Ground Crack was not open. The mountain was foggy in the morning, and many views were unclear or even invisible. The good thing was that walking on the cliff plank road was very calm because you couldn't see far away at all. The scenery was still very good, but people were also very tired. We took the cable car up and the escalator down. The whole journey was not rushed and took three and a half hours.

The nightscape of Fenghuang Ancient Town is a moving dream along the Tuojiang River. The lights of the stilt houses gradually light up, like stars falling into the ancient town, reflected on the inky water, shattered into flowing gold foil by the ripples. Lanterns sway in the cobblestone alleys, stretching the shadows of tourists into slender lines, as if quietly interweaving with the passage of time a century ago. Here, bustle and tranquility coexist in a wondrous way, making it hard to tell whether the city is reflected in the water, or the water is in the sky.
There's a long-established tourist attraction in Xiangxi, Hunan, that used to be quite popular. I visited during a National Day holiday and expected a lot of people, but it didn't seem to have improved much. "Photography, boat rides, and dining" have become their go-to activities.
There are actually quite a few cultural attractions here. It's said to be the hometown of Shen Congwen. The ancient town is free to enter, but only some attractions offer combined tickets. Without a travel guide, it seems easy to find the places. The night view is quite nice, with the core area being the stilt houses lining the river. While the night view is nice, it's quite homogenized. A new town, Furong, has been built in the same area to rival Fenghuang.
Objectively speaking, the cultural attractions here are good, with both history and scenery, but the constant stream of travel photography detracts from the experience. The local infrastructure hasn't improved much, and parking lots are all semi-private, so if you're not staying in a B&B, you might not even be able to get in. If you park on the roadside, you'll have to wait for the owner. Local restaurant owners won't let you park, and traffic police will just let you go. It's nothing compared to the county-level cities in Chongqing. It feels like the local bosses are the ones in charge. Upon entering the scenic area, you're either asked to take photos or board a boat, which is quite utilitarian. Miao costumes like these are everywhere in southeastern Chongqing and northeastern Guizhou, and I don't know who's actually taking pictures. Coming from a border town, this place is more commercial, probably even more so than Lijiang and Yangshuo. While the scenery is beautiful, the service is too utilitarian.

This is my second time going to Fairy Mountain in Wulong. The previous time was in late November in late autumn and it was quite cold. This time it was during the National Day holiday and the temperature on Fairy Mountain was very comfortable. It is a good place to escape the summer heat. The environment is very good, especially the internet-famous highway, which is quite beautiful.
The scenery is beautiful, the train is very pleasant, the cows and horses are grazing leisurely, the blue sky and white clouds are in the forest and the lawn, the air is very good, the train is closed at 16:30 on weekdays, and it is delayed to 18:30 during the National Day. When there are many people, the scenic area also arranges a bus to replace the train. The order of getting on and off is very good. The big sister who bought the ticket was very friendly. Thumbs up
