Maoshan in Jurong has beautiful scenery and is a natural oxygen bar. It's really nice. It's not far from home, just over an hour away, very convenient, and perfect for a holiday trip to Banwei.
Located southeast of Jurong City, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, the Maoshan Scenic Area is a national 5A-level tourist attraction, blending Taoist culture, revolutionary history, and natural beauty. A sacred site of Taoist culture, Maoshan is the birthplace of the Shangqing School of Taoism and has been an important ancestral home of Taoism since the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Temples such as the Jiuxiao Wanfu Palace (Ding Palace) and the Yuanfu Wanning Palace remain. Also a revolutionary base, the Maoshan New Fourth Army Memorial Hall and the Sunan Anti-Japanese War Victory Monument are located within the scenic area. With a forest coverage rate exceeding 96%, the area offers a natural oxygen bar, boasting natural attractions such as Nine Peaks, Nineteen Springs, Twenty-Six Caves, and Twenty-Eight Pools. Oriental Salt Lake City, a Taoist cultural resort about a 15-minute drive from the scenic area, is a unique destination in the Yangtze River Delta, offering a blend of culture and nature. Oriental Salt Lake City is a popular spot for afternoon visits, with evenings for night views and performances.

Fangshan Park in Tangshan, Jiangning is one of the parks of Tangshan and Fangshan National Geopark. Fangshan is one of the scenic spots in Jinling. It is called Tianyin Fangshan because of its unique mountain shape. Fangshan is a volcano that erupted 10 million years ago and preserves various rocks that erupted. It is a typical representative of volcanoes that erupted in the same period in eastern China. Fangshan has two entrances in the north and west, with more than 30 scenic spots such as Eighteen Bends, Tianyin Palace, Laoshilongchi, Dinglin Temple, Dinglin Inclined Tower, and Ziwu Vegetable Garden. Fangshan, with volcanic eruption relics everywhere, has now become a national geological park that integrates the characteristics of mountains, green forests, strange stones, strange towers, and ancient temples. The famous Dinglin Temple Pagoda is located at the northern foot of Fangshan. It was built in the Southern Song Dynasty and is an affiliated building of Dinglin Temple. It has a history of more than 830 years. The tower is a seven-story, eight-sided imitation wood structure pavilion, about 13 meters high, and this tower is dedicated to Buddha statues. The tower has a beautiful shape, fine carvings, and is unique. Dinglin Temple Pagoda is currently the oldest pavilion-style hard pagoda in Nanjing and is listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. There is a Ziwu tea garden in Fangshan, and the soil in the tea garden is rich in minerals.
The park is located on Meiquan Road and has been open since the end of 2018. It integrates nature education, parent-child experience, leisure and vacation, hot spring entertainment, and a special mine experience with the mountain as the backdrop. You can also watch waterfall performances on holidays.
