We went there with our luggage, so we first went to the Onuma Park Tourist Information Center. It only costs 300 yen to store one piece of luggage!! We also received a Chinese tourist map and train timetable. Onuma Park covers an area of ​​9,083 hectares and is the smallest quasi-national park in Hokkaido. It has three lakes, Onuma, Konuma, and Brasenuma, with 126 islands in the lake. It was selected as one of the three new scenic spots in Japan in 1915. There are bicycle rentals at the entrance of the park. You can ride around the periphery, but you can&#39;t ride into the islands inside. So we decided to walk. There are three walking paths, the sunset path on the west, the island patrol path in the middle (which includes a forest trail), and the Oshima path in the east. We walked all three. We first walked on the island patrol path in the middle, which is just after Koraku Bridge. There are cruise ships on the lake, and the boat fare is 1,100 yen. Poor people should walk. When the lake is calm, you can reflect the shadows of trees and white clouds, and there are large and small islands in the lake. This section of the island tour is made up of bridges connecting the islands, and the park signs are very clear. The roads on the island are all preserved in their original ecology, and have not been renovated into cement roads. Stepping on the fallen leaves makes a creaking sound. Sunrise Bridge, Kuyao Bridge, Jinbo Bridge, and Huyue Bridge. After passing Huyue Bridge, there is the only restroom on the island tour. You have to go to the restroom, why? Because if you turn your back to the restroom, you will see... the peak of the Komagatake active volcano on the water. The park has formed several barrier lakes due to volcanic eruptions. Many people sketch here. The island tour also includes a forest trail, which is a group of trees on the island. It took us an hour and a half to walk and take pictures on the 50-minute island tour trail. After leaving the island and returning to the park square, we went to the Oshima Road on the east side (the recommended time is 15 minutes). There is a monument called &quot;Transformed into a Thousand Winds&quot; on this road, which is said to be the birthplace of the creation of the famous Japanese song. But the most worth seeing here is the row of red leaves. We waited for several rounds until the people taking pictures left. There was no one around, so we took pictures casually. People who come to Hokkaido with a tour group basically don&#39;t come to this point, so the park is relatively quiet (either take the JR or drive yourself).
After eating in the scenic area, since we are not in a hurry, let&#39;s go to the sunset road in the west. You have to cross the railway to enter the sunset road. The entrance is opposite the parking lot. Go inside and pass by a temple called Showa Temple. It is a quiet temple and very beautiful. Walk along the path by the lake. There are fewer people here than on the island tour road. This section is called the sunset road, where you can watch the sunset. I guess we can&#39;t wait to watch the sunset by Lake Konuma, so we just visit here. There are only two bridges connecting the islands on this road, Konuma Bridge and the second bridge Suzuran Bridge. Walk out of the sunset road and walk north along the railway to a swan lake. 900 meters, go and have a look. Swan Lake, cruise ships also pass by, but the swans only fly in December, so there is nothing to see.
