The Kaohsiung British Consulate is located on the Cijin Peninsula in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City. It was built in 1865 and was the British diplomatic mission in Taiwan at that time. The building style of the consulate is a Western classical building with historical significance. Today, after restoration and reconstruction, it has become a museum that displays the history and culture of Britain in Taiwan. Visitors can visit the historical exhibitions of the consulate, enjoy the beautiful harbor views, and learn about the diplomatic and trade activities at that time. This is an important cultural and historical attraction in Kaohsiung.
A relatively historically significant attraction that tells the history of Taiwan's secession. The consulate is on a hill and you need to climb stairs. The view from above is nice, and you can see Kaohsiung city and the sea. It is convenient to buy tickets on the platform, and there are sticky notes for free. The price is cheaper than buying tickets on site.

Suzuka Circuit Park in Kaohsiung was fantastic! We had a great time exploring all the rides and attractions. The park was clean, well-maintained, and offered fun experiences for both kids and adults. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The racing-themed activities added excitement and made our visit memorable. Definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking for a fun-filled day!
Suzuka Circuit Park in Kaohsiung is a pretty cool spot for motorsport fans or anyone looking for a fun, adrenaline-filled experience. The place has a lot to offer – from the iconic race track where you can watch some serious racing action to the go-karting area if you want to try out racing yourself. The vibe is electric, especially during events, with tons of energy from the crowd and drivers. The facilities are well-maintained, and the staff is friendly, always ready to help. If you're into ca

A large-scale stadium in Kaohsiung was built for the 2009 World Games. The stadium looks like a winding dragon. The environment around the stadium is also good, like a big park!
Not long ago, I went to the Kaohsiung National Stadium with a group of friends to attend a long-awaited concert. As soon as you enter the stadium, you will be immediately struck by its spectacular architectural design. The entire venue is like a hovering dragon, with a smooth and dynamic appearance. It shines in the sun during the day and is particularly charming when decorated with lights at night. The seating area is built around the stage, allowing every audience member to have a clear view of the performance. When the music starts, the lights and stage effects interweave, and the building itself seems to become part of the performance. This time, we not only enjoyed a wonderful musical feast, but also deeply felt the grandeur and charm of this stadium, leaving behind unforgettable memories.

The park facilities are relatively old, and the children's theater is highly interactive. It is suitable for children under 9 years old. It is recommended to leave the park and eat at the outlet restaurant in the park. There are more choices, and the food in the park is not very delicious.
E-DA World is the first Greek themed amusement park in Taiwan. It has more than 50 facilities in the park. It is one of the business entities of E-DA World. It started trial operation on June 19, 2010 and officially opened on December 19, 2010. E-DA World is divided into three theme areas. The "City of David" located at the entrance is designed in the shape of an ancient Greek temple. It has a large professional theater "E-DA Royal Theater" comparable to national level with more than 1,800 comfortable and luxurious seats. The design concept of "Santorini Mountain City" is to replicate the blue and white mountain city of the Greek Aegean Sea. It has various specialty shops and exotic restaurants, allowing you to enjoy the feeling of being abroad without going abroad. The "Troy Castle" on the right presents the scene of the Trojan Horse Massacre, and experience the mythical era of time travel.

A very instagramable spot with great sceneries and great views! There are many sections to the entire river though. Sure must visit!
I recommend the boat tour around this area. The breeze is pleasant and you can relax. The price was reasonable and it was better than I expected.

We visited on October 3, 2012. Liuhe Night Market is Kaohsiung's most iconic night market. Even though we were only in Kaohsiung for a quick nap, we still made time to visit and even booked a hotel nearby. As Taiwan's second-largest night market, Liuhe Night Market naturally offers a wide variety of snacks, desserts, cold drinks, and more—foodies will definitely want to enjoy it. The night market is very close to Formosa Boulevard and is open from 6 pm to 2 am, so you can skip dinner and head straight in with an empty stomach.
Liuhe Night Market was a very famous night market in Kaohsiung when we were children, but now the crowds have gradually decreased and there are not many places to visit. A local friend told us that Ruifeng Night Market might be more lively!

The Pier-2 Art Center is a vibrant and inspiring cultural hub in Kaohsiung that breathes new life into a former industrial area. This sprawling complex offers a diverse range of art installations, exhibitions, and events, making it a must-visit for both art enthusiasts and casual visitors. The center's unique blend of contemporary art, historical architecture, and creative spaces creates a truly captivating atmosphere. You can wander through repurposed warehouses, discover hidden galleries, and admire the impressive public art installations scattered throughout the grounds.Whether you're interested in contemporary art, street art, or simply want to soak up the creative energy, the Pier-2 Art Center has something for everyone. It's a great place to spend an afternoon exploring, enjoying the lively atmosphere, and discovering new and exciting art.Overall, I highly recommend the Pier-2 Art Center to anyone visiting Kaohsiung. It's a truly unique and inspiring cultural destination that offers something for everyone. If you're planning a trip to Kaohsiung, be sure to add the Pier-2 Art Center to your itinerary!
As soon as I stepped into the Pier-2 Art District, I was infected by the creativity and vitality that came to me. The mottled exterior walls of the warehouses are juxtaposed with novel art installations, exuding a unique industrial literary style everywhere, as if telling the collision and fusion of the past years and modern thoughts. There are rich and diverse exhibitions in the park, from avant-garde contemporary art exhibitions to interesting theme exhibitions. Each work is full of the creator's ingenuity, which makes people dazzled. The cultural and creative shops are even more treasures, with a wide range of handmade accessories, special stationery, original paintings, etc., which are full of surprises when you go shopping. You can get your favorite things by just picking them up. The performances of street artists also add a lot of color to the special zone. Music, juggling, and magic are performed in turn, and the cheers are constant and lively. During the tour, I took a break in a street coffee shop. Accompanied by the fragrant coffee and the artistic scenery outside the window, my body and mind were greatly relaxed. The transportation here is convenient. Whether you take the MRT or the bus, you can easily get there. There are also many delicious foods around, which can meet your travel needs in one stop. The Pier-2 Art Center is not only a paradise for art lovers, but also a great place for all those who want to escape the mediocrity and embrace novelty. I sincerely recommend everyone to experience its unique charm.

Kaohsiung's Xiziwan is a picturesque seaside attraction located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, near Cijin. With its vast sandy beaches, fresh sea breezes and magnificent sunsets, it is a great place for tourists and local residents to relax and unwind. Near Xiziwan is the historic Xiziwan Fort, which was once a fortification and is now a good place for tourists to learn about history. The seaside trail is suitable for walking, and there are many restaurants and cafes around where you can taste delicious food and enjoy the sea view. Xiziwan is a famous tourist destination in Kaohsiung that combines nature and history.
Sizi Bay Sunset - one of the eight scenic spots in Kaohsiung, a must-visit attraction for domestic and foreign tourists. The sea and sky are the same color on a clear day. Every evening, the dreamy scenery of the sunset always attracts tourists to gather on the coast and embankments, not wanting to miss a second. Gorgeous, the observation deck will also become the best viewing spot after completion.

Cijin Painted Houses - Climbing to the highest point, the Cihou Lighthouse, you'll feel like you're on the island of Burano in Venice, the Greek island of Symi in the Aegean Sea, or visiting the Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan, South Korea. From the trail, you'll see a sea of vibrantly painted houses, radiating an exotic atmosphere against a backdrop of blue skies and white clouds.
Rather than having a lot to see unexpectedly, it's a good place to take a walk, like Jeju Island! There are also well-formed alleys like night markets, but be careful because there are a lot of stray dogs!

Second time to Kao Hsiung Arena. This place is a must visit whether you are here for an event or not. There’s a big mall connected to the arena as well. Truly a magnificent building!
Although it is called the Arena, it is similar to the ones in Taipei. However, since there were no performances or competitions, I could only walk around outside and find a cafe next to the stadium to have a coffee and rest. There were not many people.
