Genuine Review: Birthday Trip to Maya Bay, ThailandVisited Maya Bay with my wife for her birthday just before the COVID outbreak in Thailand from Nepal. The bay was breathtaking-turquoise water, white sand, and dramatic cliffs. Arriving early made it feel private and magical. So grateful we experienced its beauty before closure and restrictions. A truly unforgettable memory for both of us!
Maya Bay is a slice of paradise nestled on Thailand’s Phi Phi Leh Island. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and crystal-clear turquoise waters, this iconic beach is simply breathtaking. Famous from the movie The Beach, it captivates visitors with its untouched beauty and serene atmosphere. Soft white sands, lush greenery, and vibrant marine life make it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just soaking in nature’s wonders.

Koh Hong, in addition to being called the emeralds of Krabi's sea, is also ranked as one of the 10 islands with the most beautiful and cleanest beaches in the world.
Koh Hong has beautiful seas, white sand beaches, and very clear water. There is a 360-degree viewpoint, but you have to walk up a mountain, which takes about 45 minutes round trip. I agree that the view is worth the effort!

This is the most lively place in Ao Nang at night. The tickets are not expensive. Of course, after watching so many ladyboy performances in Thailand, you won’t feel that there is much surprise. But watching ladyboy performances is also an entertainment program at night when traveling to Thailand.
Located in the most prosperous area of Krabi. There are three shows of ladyboy show in the evening. You can buy tickets online or on the spot, the price is not much different! We bought tickets on the spot. The show time is one hour per show, there is a break in the middle, the ladyboys will go to the street to solicit customers. The performance venue is not big, it can accommodate up to 80 people. They will perform famous songs from each country. Among them, there is a clown ladyboy who impressed me the most.

On the boat trip, the guide took us to greet the monkeys. Many small monkeys came to greet us. We couldn't get too close or the monkeys would jump onto the boat, the guide said.
The Monkey Beach on Phi Phi Island is named after the many wild monkeys that appear here. Many tourists gather here to feed the monkeys, and the monkeys also show many actions and expressions that are close to humans, which is really very cute.

The atmosphere is really beautiful, but the island is a bit scary 🤣 because it is a small island. When I went, it was raining heavily and the sky was cloudy, so it was scary 😂 But even though there were clouds, the atmosphere and view were very beautiful. Beautiful nature
Koh Pai is located north of Koh Phi Phi. It is beautiful and has clean white sand. You are not allowed to wear shoes on the beach here.

the famous failed beach, the place was crowded and the sandy beach was filled with beautiful clear blue sea, highly recommend to visit
Do pay a visit to this beach if you are in Krabi! Just take a boat trip from Aonang that costs 200 baht for two-ways ticket. It’s much more smaller that Aonang beach but you can get much more of the nature views. Look for Railay Rock Climbing to try out rock climbing in Railay beach. It’s perfect for beginners as the coach is very encouraging and experienced, he would give a step-by-step instructions and trust me, you would be hooked ! There are 3 routes for you to try on. Another good point is that this rock climbing school would bring you to the cave that has an amazing bird eye view of the whole beach. Although the climb is quite challenging but it’s totally worth it ! Not forget to mention, the coach is also a professional photographer as he would tell you how to pose, what to look out for so solo travellers would get nice pictures too! Do catch the sunset at the beach. Just get a drink at the bar beachfront and enjoy the view !

the stunning islands beyond Phuket to journey to allow serene swimming and diving and scenic views. The ocean is refreshing and well worth the trip.
There are two bays on Phi Phi Leh Island, Maya Bay and Perak Bay. Maya Bay has a beach, but boats are not allowed to enter the bay, and swimming is not allowed in the bay. Perak Bay has no beach, and the bay under the cliff is 3 to 15 meters deep. The arc-shaped bay has clear water, just like the "Yaochi" in fairy tales. It attracts tourists from far away to immerse themselves in this fairyland-like bay and linger.

About 9km from AoNang. You can rent a bike for 200baht. Bring appropriate clothes or rent them there,no vests or shorts allowed. The climb is not too tough if you have any kind of fitness level. I saw a lot of people struggling though. The view from the top is amazing, you can watch the planes land at Krabi airport. Unfortunately the weather was bad on the day we went up. But it's well worth the trip.
It's very tiring to walk up, more than a thousand steps. It takes an hour to climb. You have to be a young person and strong. The view up there is beautiful. You can see the scenery clearly and widely.

About 2 hour drive from Krabi and 400 bhat entrance fee. it is a nice place to visit - there are several different pools to see - walk is over an hour if you want to see them all - Green, Blue, Emerald - all natural pools.
day 2 - began our adventure in the early morning. we had rented a car for 2 days, it helps to bring us from point A to point B, the experience of driving in other country and enjoy the culture of the city, the traffic is not very busy and the weather is not bad, only on our way back to hotel, we encountered a heavy rain, however, the road marking is not visible enough.. so have to very careful.. our first destination is the tiger cave temple, and followed the emerald pool.. we can’t make it for the hot stream waterfall due to the rains.. for people who like the nature and hiking trails will find it the blue pool and emerald pool very amazing.. I could said is an eyes opener, after u walked a quite far of distance to arrive the pool.. the tiger cave is an old temple with a huge statue of Kwan Yin in the middle of the temple.. as for me, I’m afraid of heights so I u turned after climbed half way and decided to head back to the ground.. let me share with u all some of my pictures and videos at Krabi..
