Highly recommend this package as it was a bit confusing figuring out the logistics of booking the Glacier ropeway via WeChat as a foreigner. They take care of the booking and send confirmation details to you the night before. Glacier viewpoint is very busy but worth the effort as it’s such a unique experience to be at 4500m elevation!
The ticket will send email on the before we go to lulong snow moutain but we cannot choose timetable.

Stunning views! if you can, try to avoid the 28 bends (or whatever the number of the bends) - there are no views, just suffering. after that its perfect 👌
Tiger Leaping Gorge, located at the border of Lijiang and Shangri-La in Yunnan Province, is where the source of the Yangtze River meets the Jinsha River. At its narrowest point, it's only a few dozen meters wide. Legend has it that tigers once leaped across the river here, hence the name "Tiger Leaping Gorge." Today, it's a designated 4A scenic spot, with an elevator offering access to the gorge. A visit here is truly breathtaking.

Cangshan Mountain is our alliance, Erhai Lake is our oath. How could you miss a trip to Dali without visiting Cangshan Mountain? I experienced the Gantong Cableway, which is truly the most classic route without being too tiring. I also visited Wanfo Temple and Jizhao Temple. The Qingbi Creek was absolutely stunning. It was a worthwhile trip!
I'm a bit overweight and hadn't originally wanted to hike, but my wife and kids wanted to, so we went along. Cangshan won me over with its charm. Our itinerary involved walking up the Gantong Cableway for nearly 4 kilometers of flat ground, then climbing over a thousand steep steps to the lower section of the Ximatan cableway. Considering the children hadn't yet tackled the upper Ximatan section (over 4,000 meters), the highest point of the entire trip was around 3,000 meters. We didn't experience any altitude sickness, but we took it easy. We even played mahjong and poker for over an hour at the rest stop in front of the Seven Dragon Maiden Pool, focusing on taking our time. Also, Cangshan is very crowded during Golden Week. If you don't arrive at the Gantong Cableway entrance before 8:30 a.m., you'll inevitably encounter traffic jams and even longer lines at the cableway entrance (we arrived at the tunnel entrance at 8:20 a.m. and waited for half an hour before getting on the cable car). Perhaps Ximatan will be less crowded, but I'm not sure.

I think it's definitely worth a visit, but try to go when the weather is clear. Two days should be enough. Arrive in the afternoon of the first day and start circling Lugu Lake. Stop to take photos at scenic spots, then continue circling. Towards evening, capture the sunset and the blue hour. After sunset, find a place to stay overnight. The next morning, get up early and go to the Guandu Flower Sea Wharf to rent a boat and go out onto the lake to watch the sunrise and morning mist. After that, have lunch and continue circling the lake. Once you're done, you can head back. That's basically the itinerary.
Returning to Lugu Lake after many years, I'm so glad I stayed on the Lige Peninsula and rode in a real dugout canoe! The roads in are much better now, and circling the lake is much more convenient. Several villages have become commercialized and now charge entrance fees.

This was the best night's sleep I've had in days. The bed was so comfortable, the firmness was just right, and the blanket was snug against my skin, relieving all the fatigue from the previous nights! There's a large parking lot right outside, which is very convenient! Highly recommended! Highly recommended!
The Aden Scenic Area in autumn is picturesque, with snow-capped mountains, golden grass mats, rivers and lakes that make people linger. Because the scenic area is very large, it is worth staying in the scenic area for a night. If the weather is good, you can see the golden mountain in the sun.

The autumn scenery is incredibly beautiful on a rainy day; it was drizzling the day I visited. I only went for a walk around Shudu Lake and visited Bita Lake. The scenery was beautiful, and there were many fearless little squirrels that you could feed.
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Don't try to find shortcuts instead of hiking to explore different areas, because the best parts are in the deeper parts, so you have to go out and explore. Ideally, the weather should be sunny, as the scenery is beautiful everywhere.

On an overcast day on October 11th, I visited Chongsheng Temple. Set against the misty Cangshan Mountain, the ancient Three Pagodas and numerous magnificent temples were awe-inspiring. The entire park is large and tranquil, and if you have time, you could spend most of the day here. It's not too far from Dali Ancient Town, and you can buy tickets within the scenic area to ride electric carts up and down the mountain. Admission to Chongsheng Temple is 75 yuan, but there are many promotions. Tickets to Dali are free with a flight. I used a China Mobile coupon, which allowed me to buy a free ticket on Ctrip, but I had to wait 15 minutes after the ticket was issued before I could enter the park.
This scenic spot is well worth a visit. The Ctrip package includes a round-trip electric car ride, but I recommend also buying a one-way electric car package. You can take the electric car directly from the base of the mountain to the summit terminal, the Main Hall, then ascend a little further to see the Nine Dragons Bathing the Buddha and the Cihang Pudu (Sacrifice of the Buddha), before continuing down the mountain! I didn't use the electric car on the return trip. Spend more time in the Main Hall to slowly explore the Zhang Shengwen scroll; you'll learn a lot. The package also includes admission to the Three Pagodas Reflection Park, where you can take photos.

Buying through Ctrip is cheap and convenient. The ancient town is beautiful, with several well-preserved ancestral halls and many small attractions worth exploring. The ancient town is quite large, with beautiful scenery and affordable entrance fees, making it great value for money!
I've visited countless ancient towns across the country, and Heshun Ancient Town is the most chaotic. Inside the town, you can find all kinds of vehicles. There are licensed shuttle buses, but strangely enough, there are also many private unlicensed taxis, as well as numerous motor vehicles and electric vehicles squeezing and jostling on the narrow roads of the scenic area, making tourists tremble with fear.

This was my second visit to Rehai Scenic Area. I bought a package ticket, first hiking up the mountain to see the volcano and hot springs, then soaking in the hot springs, which relieved the fatigue of the hike and was very relaxing. I bought the tickets on Ctrip. Entering the scenic area, taking the shuttle bus, and soaking in the hot springs were all very convenient – just scan the code to pass through. Because we encountered a tour group that needed to meet at 3 PM, we let them go first. We ordered coffee and sausages in the rest area, enjoying the mountain breeze and scenery – very pleasant. Both the volcano and the hot springs have unique landforms and are well worth seeing. The hot spring water had a strong sulfur smell; after soaking, my skin felt smooth, and my steps felt much lighter. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Ctrip's package ticket was very convenient.
The Tengchong Rehai Scenic Area is located in Qingshui Township, Tengchong City, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, approximately 8-10 kilometers from the city center. Known for its unique geothermal wonders, it is a national 5A-level tourist attraction known as the "Chinese Hot Spring Pilgrimage Site" and "Natural Geothermal Museum." The area covers approximately 9 square kilometers and sits at an altitude of 1,520 meters. Known as the "Hot Sea" since the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is one of the twelve scenic spots of ancient Tengyue.

This year, I was invited by a friend to visit the Lijiang Ancient Town Scenic Area. Once there, I discovered that my child especially loved the virtual reality experience within the park. He watched it repeatedly, completely engrossed and not wanting to leave. Personally, I preferred Dawa Village. The scenery there was beautiful, there were places to eat, rest areas to relax, and opportunities to try traditional handicrafts and intangible cultural heritage. You could even take your creations home – it was truly a worthwhile trip!
Lijiang Ancient Love Scenic Area is more than just a show; it's a large-scale immersive park! Street flash mobs and folk performances are everywhere, and staff dressed in ancient costumes interact with visitors, truly giving you a sense of time travel. The "Great Earthquake" live-action drama is particularly engaging—be prepared with tissues if you're easily moved to tears! With numerous interactive attractions and fantastic photo spots, it's perfect for a leisurely stroll.
