Transportation:
Currently, you can only drive by yourself. If you don’t drive by yourself, you really can’t enjoy the scenery. You need to drive 26 kilometers (one way) to the scenic spot.
Tips:
(1) The main peak and Mingfeng Valley are under construction, so I can’t go there. It is said that it will be around this time next year (end of February 2026)
(2) Tianchi is a relatively large pond at the foot of the mountain. I don’t know why this is Tianchi. Shouldn’t Tianchi be on the top of the mountain?
(3) I guess you can only see the fog on Tianchi in the morning? Anyway, we arrived at 10 am, and there was nothing there. Because there was a breeze and the Tianchi Lake was quite large, there was not even a reflection of the blue sky and white clouds.
(4) I like the "Rainforest Valley Q Plank Road" the most here. It is a red plank road in the blue sky, white clouds, green trees and yellow sand beach. It is not hot, but cool. You can walk in the woods and enjoy a different view with every step. There is also a leisure pavilion for picnics.
(5) The road to Tianchi Lake is two-way, and it is safe to drive slowly; the road from Tianchi Lake to Rainforest Valley is one-way, very narrow, and you have to pass by other cars, so you must be careful and drive slowly. (6) The parking lot at Rainforest Valley is very small. When parking on the roadside, you must leave a passage for other cars. Some cars only care about themselves and do not consider others at all. The small space left is not accessible to any car except QQ!
(7) Each scenic spot has food/snacks for sale, so you don’t have to worry about going hungry. (8) The Rainforest Valley plank road is said to be 6 kilometers long. You can walk in and out the same way, so do it according to your personal time and energy. (9) The Rainforest Valley is suitable for elderly people to walk. The slope is very gentle and there are not many steps. (10) People over 65 years old are free, adults are 55 yuan, and self-driving cars are free. The only drawback of this attraction is that you can return the same way you came in and out. It really needs to design a better travel route.
Many students come here to watch the sunrise during the summer vacation. I got up at 3 o'clock in the morning to climb the mountain, and the sunrise was at 6 o'clock. It was a pity that I didn't see the sea of clouds. The accommodation around was very ordinary. The price of food was not low. You need a car. Drive into the mountain for half an hour, and then walk to the top of the mountain for about an hour. It is cooler on the top of the mountain in the morning, so you can bring a thin jacket.

Ledong, west of Hainan Island, is a beautiful place with many unique tourist attractions. Self-driving is the best. There is the salt field of Yinggehai (the salt mountain here is better than the snow mountain, especially suitable for taking children to play and learn while playing, otherwise you won’t know how to make salt from seawater until you are in junior high school 😁), the sunset of Longmu Bay, and the tropical rain forest of Jianfeng Mountain. The scenery is beautiful.
Longmu Bay occupies a dominant position in the scenery list of Ledong, because the scenery of this place is really great, the azure blue sea, the wonderful sky, which makes people yearn for it.
