As a foreigner who speaks minimum Chinese, it was very easy to get to the location (from Guiyang) and navigate around it because everything was clearly marked in English, and the location itself is absolutely stunning, one of my favorites in China. After ten o&#39;clock, the scenic spot switched to performance mode on time: the sound of the silverware store replaced the rhythm of the loom, the net red in Miaofu live broadcast squeezed the embroidery girl, the sour soup fish on the long table banquet was improved to the taste of tourists, and the aloe field played the same welcome song every day. Under the pressure of the tourism economy, traditional life forms are being dismembered and reconstructed. Langde Miao Village has a history of more than 640 years. There are Fengyu Bridge, Tongguping Performance Venue, Miao Village Museum, and Yang Daliu&#39;s Former Residence. However, these attractions are only half worth seeing, and the most distinctive feature is still the aboriginals themselves.

🌟Highlights:

At 10:30 in the morning, all the villagers, young and old, use twelve gate-blocking wines at the door as a welcoming etiquette, which is the highest etiquette of the Miao welcoming etiquette. Twelve represents a large number in the Miao people, 12 months a year, and a decimal system. The typical twelve zodiac signs were first used as the names of the months. They are the remains of the twelve powerful totem clans in ancient times who made calendars for the needs of farming and rice cultivation and took turns to observe the moon and the stars.

This place is indeed much more primitive and simple than the Qiangu Miao Village in Xijiang, Guizhou. Basically, there are no vendors living here, and all the indigenous people are self-reliant. Therefore, it is very quiet here, very quiet, and people who like quiet should like it more.

The villagers who perform in the performance venue will sit on the stone bench to rest when it is not their turn.

Every villager has his own job. After the performance, he has to go back to work, cook, and live. I saw a mother-in-law open the door of the family planning office with the key after the performance, and went in to continue working. It was so cute.

After the performance, I wanted to eat ice jelly. I saw a shop selling it. I went in and saw that the boss was the aboriginal who had just danced. It was noon when the performance ended. He rushed back to make food for the two children and made ice jelly for us. Every villager was a slash villager.

Some children who were too young performed dances to coax them. After the performance, the mother would hand her child a bottle of Wahaha as a reward, hahaha.
