Entering the mountain gate at dawn, a thin mist, like a veil, drifts over the stone steps. Reaching Qingyin Pavilion, the confluence of two streams murmurs gently. The Bailong River and Heilong River meander like two silver ribbons, their pebbles clearly visible on the water's surface. Ascending along the plank road, the mountain gradually becomes steeper. Reaching the halfway point, the clouds suddenly gathered, as if stepping into a fairyland. Distant peaks appeared and disappeared in the sea of clouds, ethereal like a mirage. As the clouds dissipated, the golden summit gleamed in the sunlight, the gilded statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva seated solemnly, his six-tusked white elephant mount lifelike, overlooking all living beings. Visiting the Leshan Giant Buddha was very straightforward, and the crowds weren’t excessive, so taking photos was easy. We arrived just before 9.30am. It’s a great experience if you have the time, as the landscape is stunning. Do keep in mind that it’s about 1 hour 40 minutes by car from Chengdu.
My child is on autumn break, and we left Chengdu on Saturday. We stayed overnight in Leshan and ate Leshan's local specialties: 钵钵鸡 (boiled chicken in chili oil), 豆腐奶 (tofu pudding), and 甜皮鸭 (sweet-skinned duck). On Sunday, we went to the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. My child loved it! We definitely want to go again next time!

We avoided the crowds during the National Day holiday and spent two days in Qianwei with our family, visiting the Jiayang Steam Train! It was a very memorable trip, and actually quite good value for money. The train ride takes 70 minutes, with two jet shows along the way, and each carriage has a guide who explains things in great detail!
It was a fantastic trip, and Qianwei has so many delicious foods!
The real mining environment and the buildings from the 50s and 60s are very experiential for both adults and children, and there are also many amusement projects inside. Very good

Cliff village, zipline, Gulu Village, Chengdu-Kunming Railway (then the world's longest railway tunnel), Railway Corps Museum, water highway, "Little Liangshan," Daliangshan, Leshan, Jinkou River, Guancunba Station, Dadu River, Baixionggou, Third Front construction, no foreigners allowed... Put these words together and you're intrigued! Come, enjoy Yi Tuotuo meat and Tuotuo chicken, and savor the scenery and delicious food for a truly unique experience. A word of caution: if you want to climb up to the cliff village, Gulu Village, you'll need to allow plenty of time; the round trip takes 7-8 hours and is quite strenuous. However, even a self-guided river cruise will leave you breathtakingly refreshed and relaxed!
The scenery of this place is quite good, with water roads, a grand canyon, and a suspension bridge. I heard that foreigners are not allowed to enter, but there are not as many entertainment projects as other scenic spots. It is suitable for hiking and looking at the hardships of the railway troops in the past.

The Bermuda-Heizhugou Scenic Area in China is divided into two scenic spots: Mali Lengjiu and Fengchaoyan. Mali Lengjiu, a Yi language term meaning alpine pasture covered in flowers, is a picturesque sight, creating stunning photos without filters! Fengchaoyan offers a 3-kilometer round-trip hike, taking approximately 3 hours. The alpine plank roads, pristine forests, and roaring waters are a breathtaking experience, bursting with negative oxygen ions!
This scenic spot is incredibly cost-effective. The 50-yuan price includes two attractions, and the 18-yuan sightseeing bus takes you round trip between the two. The bus picks up at the same stop. If you want to see everything you want in one day, it's best to arrive early. The Honeycomb Rock trail is 3km long, surrounded by lush primeval forest vegetation. At the end, you'll find a waterfall cascading through a crack in the rocks. Mali Lengjiu is an alpine meadow, perfect for taking photos, and the mostly flat roads make it a relatively easy hike.

Jiazhou (Leshan) many ancient towns, Suji number is the leader. Suji Ancient Town, located between Leshan and Emei, has the Emei River. According to historical data, Suji Ancient Town formed about the Sui Dynasty, and was originally called "osmanthus field". Later generations, Tang changed Suji, Songzhi Suji Town, Qing set up Suji Shop, Suji Township. Suji historical and cultural legends have many allusions, known as "the hometown of dragons and lanterns" and "the hometown of calligraphy and painting". It is believed that the history records: Suji was Suji in Tang Dynasty, Songzhi Suji Town, Qing Dynasty has the name of "Suji Shop" and "Suji Township". Built in the first year of Xiaozong and Xi of the Southern Song Dynasty (1174) Niutouyu and the late Ming Dynasty, the red catyu is a canal for self-flow irrigation in the territory. Suji, beautiful mountains and clear waters, and rich materials, ancient times was the starting point for Buddhists to worship Mount Emei.
