A highly valued 5A scenic spot with a wealth of attractions and numerous cultural relics. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, it's a must-see and internet-famous attraction.
Our first stop in Northeast China was the Shenyang Palace Museum. I've been fascinated by it since I was a kid, and this time I finally got to check it out. It was the end of summer vacation, so the crowds were much smaller than usual, but the experience was quite enjoyable. There were so many interesting things to see and learn about, and I really enjoyed it.

The scenery is elegant and divided into several pavilions. I watched the performances of dolphins, sea lions and birds. It was very exciting. The scenic area signs were very clear, and there was a performance schedule at a glance. It was a very pleasant trip.
A must-visit place for tourists in Dalian, with complete facilities and many places to play. The fun cannot be compared with Happy Valley and Disney, and the venues are not too large. After all, you are going to see the sea, so you can't be too picky.

The guides were professional and enthusiastic, and the experience was truly beneficial. The vegetation within the site is rich and diverse, with vibrant colors that are truly pleasing to the eye. The art exhibition center boasts a wealth of stunning artworks. The detailed explanations and interpretations within the site further enhance the experience.
The Light of Life is a favorite for children. It tells the story of the origin of life, from blue algae to the birth of various organisms. It is very meaningful. After that, there are various activities for children to play.

The zoo is uniquely built into the mountainside, and the many feeding activities are quite interesting. I was especially surprised to see the elephants catching food with their trunks. The price of 20 yuan per serving is quite reasonable. Entering from the south gate and exiting from the north gate, you can take the cable car to enjoy the beautiful view of the cross-sea bridge. The cable car is less crowded and has shorter lines than the vegetarian car from the Lotus Mountain Observation Deck.
It was a really great experience... Here's my guide: I took the cable car from the South Gate to the North Gate (the advantage is no lines, the disadvantage is you have to turn your head to see the ocean, which is a pain in the neck). Then, after entering through the North Gate, I bought a ticket for the train. I could get off at each park and then wait for the next train to continue. I continued all the way to the intersection of the captive and free-range areas, took the elevator down to the free-range area, and then skipped the train ticket. I could just stroll around and see the tigers, bears, giraffes, and more. It was a relaxing experience! Finally, I visited the Panda House and the Small Animal House, and that was a perfect end to my trip!

This area is well worth a visit. It has an aquarium and an underwater world (including an underwater tunnel). Dalian Sun Asia Ocean World, located within Xinghai Park, also offers other attractions. There's also the Xinghai Bay beach for playful swimming. It's a great place to take children.
I took my children there at the end of the holiday, and there were still a lot of people. While avoiding the heat, I also let my children learn about marine life. It was the most regrettable arrangement in the hot summer! Both adults and children were not tired.

The Liaoning Provincial Museum has a large collection of exhibits, and the explanations are very detailed and informative. I learned a lot from the two and a half hour explanation. I thank the tour guide for his wonderful explanation.
I finally had the chance to visit the Liaoning Provincial Museum, a provincial museum jointly built by the national and local governments. It had been on my wish list for a long time, but I finally managed to pull it off today. Since its relocation to the new building in Hunnan District, Shenyang, the exhibition area has been greatly expanded, allowing more of the museum's collection to be seen, which is definitely a major benefit. I confirmed before the trip that the museum's true treasures were all at home, not traveling or on loan. However, the finest paintings and calligraphy were digitized and displayed in VR, so I couldn't see them in person. The Liaoning Provincial Museum is absolutely not to be missed.

It was a great experience. The service was excellent. The attractions were good. I tried the indoor rafting, which was great. The fish spa was nice, with its small fish and water guns. The breakfast at the Suifeng restaurant and the food on the third floor of the hot springs were also very impressive and good.
Thanks to the rafting guy who pulled us out and helped me find my glasses. 🙏🙏🙏. The rafting waves were so thrilling. So much fun. The park is so huge. One day is definitely not enough to explore. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The service is great! No words can express my excitement at this moment❤

We walked there and took the boat back. We conquered the small Bijia Mountain! It took about an hour to walk to the foot of the mountain. Wearing slippers is not recommended because it's really hard on your feet, as there are small stones everywhere. There was almost no water on the road.
Unique natural landscape: Bijiashan is most famous for the "Tianlu", which is a natural cobblestone passage made of the impact of the tide, which is very magical as the tide rises and falls. Walking on the sky road, on both sides are the endless Bohai Bay, the waves are surging, the momentum is magnificent, giving people a unique experience. - The humanistic heritage is deep: there are many cultural relics on the mountain, such as Lu Zuting, Wumu Palace, Sanqing Pavilion, etc. Among them, Sanqing Pavilion is the largest stone structure in the country, with a height of 26.2 meters, six-story all-colored stone buildings, moths and corners, mural gate gods, all stone carvings, and the strange shape of Han white jade inscriptions in the pavilion, which is breathtaking. - Beautiful scenery: Bijia Mountain seems quite small on the coast, the actual area is large, it takes at least three hours to walk around. The natural scenery on the mountain is charming, the sea is clear, and the faint dark green is shining in the sun. You can have a panoramic view of the mountains and seas when you climb the mountain top. - Insufficient:- Unreasonable charges: The ticket price is 65 yuan, but this is only the cost of entering the scenic spot. If you want to climb Bijia Mountain, you need to pay an additional 15 yuan per person to take the speedboat, and children under 6 years old are also charged according to the adult standard. The overall cost is higher and the price is not high. - The construction of scenic spots is not perfect: some scenic spots on the mountain have not been fully built. In addition to the temples, the commercial atmosphere is too strong. The streets are full of shopping markets. The lack of deep excavation and display of cultural connotations affects the expectations and experience of tourists on the "sea fairy mountain". - Poor supporting services: only adult tickets are sold online, children, students or the elderly need to queue up for tickets with documents from the offline window, which is not humane enough and wastes tourists' time. In addition, the amphibian museum and the bird museum included in the ticket package, if the door is closed or cannot be found, the rights of tourists cannot be guaranteed.

I think it's definitely worth the trip. Thirteen years ago, my company organized a group trip to Discovery Kingdom, but I was pregnant at the time and missed out, which was quite a shame. Finally, today, our family of four was able to make the trip. We even bought children's tickets for 39 yuan. I used my teaching certificate to get a ticket for 9.1 yuan. My husband and eldest daughter bought teacher and family tickets for 130 yuan each. For a full day of fun, our family spent a total of 308 yuan. It was a fantastic deal. Yesterday, it was cloudy, so the park was incredibly quiet. The lines for popular rides were only 20 minutes. For rides like the roller coaster, the pendulum, and the long, spinning ride, there were no lines at all. My youngest daughter is 155cm tall, and she enjoyed all the rides. I've read reviews saying that many of the extra-cost rides were bad, but I didn't feel that way because we were overwhelmed by the free rides and didn't try any of the optional ones. If such a good deal is available in the future, we'll definitely go again. At the end of this winter break, we went to Universal Studios Beijing, and our family of four spent over 1,400 yuan on tickets. Discovery Kingdom was a much better value for money.
Discovering Kingdom Castle was such a pleasant surprise! The European-style castle architecture looked like something straight out of a fairy tale, with intricate brick and stone carvings that were truly captivating. During the day, there were parades with floats and lively actors. At night, the light show turned on, and the entire castle was ablaze with color, accompanied by music that made it look like a magical movie. The attractions were also fun, from the thrilling roller coaster to the family-friendly magic games, it was a blast and absolutely worth the price of admission!

The scenery at night is beautiful, but there are so many people. It rained when I went there, and it was crowded. I took some photos. The boat was closed, but if you walk along the water city, you will reach Donggang. There are concerts in the evening. There is also a check-in spot on Gangdong Fifth Street where you can take the 201 tram.
Oriental Water City is built with quite unique features. You can walk around during the day. In the evening, many Dalian-style restaurants are open. It is good for dinner, drinks and relaxation. It takes about 10 minutes to take an electric boat. The scenery along the way is still quite beautiful, but the boat is a bit fast and you can't enjoy it slowly. On that day, the full ticket for those over 1 meter was 60 yuan, and those under 1 meter were free but could not occupy seats. I don't know why I could only buy one ticket on Ctrip that day, and the other two were bought on the mini program. Ctrip can adjust this.
