We arrived at 8:40 AM on Saturday, August 2nd, hoping to get in right away. Unexpectedly, it was packed. According to the show times listed on the WeChat official account, we planned to go to Polar World first for the 8:45 PM Beluga whale show. However, the line to get in was over 10 minutes long, and by the time we got there, the show was over. So we headed straight to the second floor for the 9:15 PM sea lion show. There were two seals and one sea lion, and the animals performed with great enthusiasm—it was worth seeing. We briefly explored Polar World before leaving. Next up was Dolphin Bay at Ocean World at 10:15. We skipped the tunnels and headed straight to the souvenir shop. The three of us only needed to buy souvenirs for 150 yuan each, and the staff arranged for us to sit in the center of the theater for the dolphin show. The first row was empty, likely because everyone was afraid of getting splashed, so they reserved the center seat for us. Dolphin Bay was also fantastic. The clown show warmed up the crowd, but the main show then unfolded, with a beautiful mermaid princess, a dashing and hesitant prince, a goofy pirate, and finally, our main characters: two beluga whales and two dolphins. The show lasted about 20 minutes, making up for missing the beluga whale show at Polar World. If you're like us and didn't go through the tunnels, be careful not to go through the outside door; you can't get back out. We went back to see the tunnels, and the kids even tried scuba diving. It was already 12:00 PM when we finished. We had a four-theater ticket, but we were exhausted. We skipped the Coral Reef and ended up at the Milky Way to see Beibei, the polar bear. We were the first to go home at 1pm. When we left, there were long queues at the entrances of the various venues, so it’s best to come early in the morning.
