Many people don't know that taking photos at the Lingshui Freedom Lighthouse is very photogenic!
It is also the same Mosha Lighthouse as the movie She Disappeared
You can come at sunset, so that you won't be exposed to the sun and there are fewer people, so it's nice to take photos.
After visiting the lighthouse, you can go directly to Qingshui Bay Dongrong Global Food for a big meal

The first meal I had when I arrived in Lingshui was Guangming Sour Noodles. It was really interesting that two sour noodle shops were side by side.
Lingshui Sour Noodles is the most famous. I ordered a small portion of sour noodles. It is actually cold, which is refreshing and appetizing in tropical weather. Various small dishes are added to the soup base. It is mixed well and thickened. The acidity is acceptable. The dried fish in it is very fragrant, and the yellow pepper sauce is really spicy and addictive.
There are also various Hainan snacks in the store, such as Baoluo noodles and Hainan noodles.
When I'm tired after get off work and don't want to eat, I eat sour noodles, which is not bad.

I've been in Lingshui for almost a month now, and the whole city is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's a great place to bring a baby! 👍 Taxi drivers almost always offer to help with putting away or folding the stroller, making it a truly baby-friendly city! I won't recommend any chain restaurants for now, but I do recommend trying some local Lingshui specialties.
We've been to Xincun Town the most because we're staying in Greentown Blue Bay Town, and it's a 5-minute taxi ride from there, costing less than 10 yuan. So, when we don't feel like cooking, eating at the cafeteria, or going to a chain restaurant, we come here. I personally don't like ordering noodles or rice noodles from delivery, and I also don't like ordering Qingbuliang (a type of sweet soup) from delivery, so I prefer to take a taxi to the restaurant to eat! Gu Ming is also nearby, very close by.
The first four restaurants are open for lunch, while the last four are only open in the evening at the Xincun Night Market. They're all very close!
1️⃣ Jinyu Sour Rice Noodles
Personally, I think the original Zhupeng Sour Rice Noodle King is just average, but the Jinyu Sour Rice Noodles in Xincun Town on Zhongshan Road is really delicious! Many locals eat there! 1. Sweet and sour, the owner was very nice; they even gave me some sweet potato porridge since I had a baby with me!
2. Xinji Longjiang Pig Trotter Rice
Recommended by the sisters in my travel group, it's quite delicious! The pig trotter rice place next to Jinyu Sour Rice Noodles is also very crowded at lunchtime, you can try it!
3. Lanjie Liji Baoluo Rice Noodles
Next to Xinji, the mixed Baoluo rice noodles are quite good 👍, the soup noodles are a bit bland. The owner said it's been open for fifteen years.
4. Ganglong Pineapple Buns

I highly recommend this place, they make and steam the buns fresh, and the owners, a young couple, are very nice! I've bought the pork, corn and pork, braised pork, and shrimp flavors. My baby loves them all! The corn and pork flavor is my favorite! 👍 I've bought it at least five times, and my baby has never had diarrhea after eating it – always clean! It's a no-brainer for babies around 2 years old! 👍
7️⃣ Xing Ge Fried Ice
The mango and watermelon fried ice are both delicious – a bit like ice cream! I personally don't eat durian, so although it's their signature dish, I haven't tried the durian fried ice. Those who love durian should definitely try it.
8️⃣ Xu Fu Ji Grilled Oysters
A must-try at the Xincun Night Market. It gets very crowded at night. The grilled oysters and seafood porridge are good. The service is... well, there's no service.
