Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve is located in the town of Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, in the south section of the Lushan Mountains in northwest Sichuan Province. It is located on the northeast side of the Gongganling Mountains in the south section of the Lushan Mountains. It is a large branch ditch at the source of the Baishui River in the upper reaches of the Jialing River in the Yangtze River. The area of the basin covered is about 642.97 square kilometers. There are four scenic spots in Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve, Shuzhenggou, Chawagou, Rizegou and Zharugou.
