This is a very cost-effective scenic spot. The programs are dense and interesting, especially at night. It is fun and interesting. It is too hot in the summer and cooler at night. Henan's attractions won't disappoint! Every theater is refreshing, both in content and performance. Don't worry about your children getting lost in the action. They might not fully grasp the content, but the performances will definitely captivate them, so both adults and children will find something they enjoy!
I went in at 10am and watched 3 main plays (two were enough for me to go in), 8 small theaters and 2 outdoor ones. I came out at almost 10pm and only bought 2 bottles of water in between. Needless to say, it was the best this year.

I watched Justice Bao when I was a kid, so when I came to Kaifeng, how could I not come to Kaifeng Mansion to check in? I didn't expect the garden to be quite big, and there were performances and so on. I didn't go to a dome movie because I had to make an appointment, which was a small regret, but overall it was good.

The Luoyang Museum's "Glorious and Majestic: Famen Temple Cultural Relics Special Exhibition" is absolutely worth a visit!
Tickets to the special exhibition come with museum admission, and there are special prices during the final days of summer vacation. With the difficulty of getting a reservation at the Luoyang Museum, this special exhibition ticket is truly a steal!
There's a Yihetang (Yihetang) right in front of the museum. During the summer vacation, their large mint lemonade is absolutely delicious! There are also snack stalls and lockers nearby, and there's a sunshade over the queue area. The amenities are getting better and better!
The Bodhisattva statue at the entrance is truly elegant!
The gold and silver caskets and stupas containing the relics are incredibly exquisite! The pure gold caskets still radiate their splendor after thousands of years! Each side of the silver casket is engraved with a different pattern!
There's also a crystal pillow, gold and silver armlets (very thick, looking more like something a strong man would wear than a woman's), a crystal ball, a Kaiyuan Tongbao (Kaiyuan Tongbao) coin, and an incense burner...
Next to the incense burner is a Ganesha, and agarwood was also unearthed at the time...
Honestly, Henan's paid tourism industry is definitely worth a thumbs up, though the fees are a bit high. 😄
The lady's introduction was very layered and historically insightful. The Luoyang Museum's collection is just too vast. Next time, I'll need to dedicate a full day to fully explore and savor it.

Henan Museum is well worth a visit. The museum is rich and magnificent. Mr. Wang explained the contents clearly, interactively and humorously. In order to enhance the effect of the explanation, Mr. Wang also prepared a lot of extended information and used a pad to show us the details of the exhibits. The museum is grand in appearance, not far from Longmen High-speed Railway Station, clean, and easy to make reservations. However, there are not many antiques, and many are imitations. I recommend the one that shows "Along the River During the Qingming Festival". On weekends, there are free tours for elementary school students on the first floor, which is quite good.

It's really nice to come in the off-season. You can watch all the shows clearly. The NPC interactions are also very enthusiastic. Tang City is quite large. The performances are mainly in the East and West Markets and the Vermillion Bird Gate. You can easily spend a day there.
The architecture looks impressive from a distance, but up close it lacks detail and a sense of history. It would be helpful if the performances and fees could be separated from the ticket price, as not everyone enjoys watching these shows.

The 45-minute show consists of five acts (Hetu Luoshu, Luoshenfu, Longmen World Heritage, Calligraphy and Painting, and Resonance of Ancient and Modern Times). I personally enjoyed acts 1, 2, and 4. Since there are no seats available, you'll need to walk around the two scenes, so comfortable shoes are recommended. After the show, visit the digital museum on the first floor for interactive performances. I also loved the prism and AI-powered photo editing. The backgrounds for the makeup photos are rich, and the compositing effect is the best I've ever experienced. I highly recommend it to all the ladies!
