Satri House Restaurant is located at 057 Photisarath RD, Ban That Luang Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang 057, Laos and you feel like you were in the past as part of royalty. Very nice rooms and surroundings with lots of statues and antiques. 20 minutes walk to the night market. Two small but adequate swimming pools and a la carte breakfast. A perfect hideaway!
There are many ways to chase the sunset on the Mekong River. Today, I chose a sunset cruise.
I rode a motorcycle along the river at around 4 pm. I passed by several cruise companies with different prices. Private cruises require bargaining. Finally, I came across this one with a clear price on the sign, 2 hours and a free mojito. It was almost 5 o'clock when I boarded the boat. It turned out to be a very chill evening~
Most of the people who chose this boat were Europeans and Americans. There was a Thai girl sitting next to me who spoke very good English. We chatted together, took pictures of each other, talked about our own experiences, and agreed to have a drink after getting off the boat.
It was really beautiful to drink cocktails and bathe in the sunset with French music
The boat also provided a small interactive activity of making a wish and releasing animals, which would put everyone's wishes and troubles into the river, which was also an interesting experience

The Great House is located at Rosewood Luang Prabang, Ban Nadueay, Luang Prabang, Laos PDR | Rosewood Hotel, Luang Prabang 0600, Laos, and the restaurant is part of the Rosewood Hotel and has a nice setting. The service in the restaurant wasn't great though. We were the only table there for lunch, but there wasn't much service. When I asked for a menu, I was given chopsticks. I wanted to ask for a plate and a knife for the salad, but there were no waiters around. Maybe they wanted to leave us alone to enjoy the tranquility of the place? The food was ok. The price for this place is reasonable. 15 minutes by tuk tuk from the center of LP town.

When you want to treat yourself, just go to Chef's Table. I ordered duck spring rolls as an appetizer and Laotian fish soup as a main course. All dishes were good. Pina collada was great. The restaurant has a modern and charming atmosphere.
