Jiuzhaigou truly lives up to its reputation!! It's sooooo beautiful! I suggest you visit the attractions above quickly, as the most beautiful spot is the Five-Colored Pool below! The景区 scheduling is amazing; during peak season, it only took ten minutes from the entrance to boarding the bus! I recommend visiting both the left and right routes. You might experience some altitude sickness at Changhai Lake on the left route, but the rest of the place is wonderful. A fantastic experience the whole time!
We queued to enter the park at 8 am, starting from Changhai Lake on the left and proceeding to Wucai Pond. We returned to the center and then explored the right-hand route, visiting Arrow Bamboo Lake, Panda Lake, Five-Flower Lake, Pearl Shoal, and Mirror Lake. Finally, we returned to the center to explore the central route, visiting Rhinoceros Lake, Shuzheng Waterfall, Spark Lake, and Reed Lake. We left the park at 5 pm. The park's shuttle bus service was truly impressive; I'd definitely go again in the summer.

From Sichuan to Xi'an, Sichuan offered free admission to those over 60, regardless of whether it was the world-renowned Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou or the Dujiangyan Irrigation System. However, in Xi'an, everything was charged, many without even half-price offers, and the ticket prices were quite high. It felt like the cultural tourism sector lacked a human touch. The Xi'an City Wall was beautiful, offering views of the ancient city's interior and the bustling cityscape outside. Due to time constraints, I only visited a quarter of it; I'll have to explore it further another time. The Shaanxi History Museum is supposedly impossible to book; you can only go through a travel agency, which is essentially a form of disguised payment. I ended up buying some souvenirs at the Tang Paradise cultural and creative shops. Xi'an, this ancient city brimming with history, still has so much to explore. See you next time!
Xi'an City Wall is the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China, well worth a visit. It was first built in the third year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty, expanded from the foundation of the Tang Dynasty imperial city, and has a history of over 600 years. The 13.74-kilometer-long wall has witnessed the vicissitudes of Xi'an's transformation from the ancient capital of Chang'an to a modern metropolis. Its construction techniques are exquisite; the wall uses a layered rammed earth technique, bonded with tung oil and glutinous rice juice, making it incredibly sturdy. The wall's defensive system is also very complete, with city gates, barbicans, watchtowers, and crenellations working together to form a vast and rigorous military defense system. There are various ways to explore Xi'an City Wall, such as cycling, hiking, and taking an electric cart. Visitors can also enjoy the magnificent sunrises and sunsets, the dazzling nighttime lights, and immersive cultural activities like the "Dream of Chang'an" welcoming ceremony. In addition, there are other attractions nearby, such as the Forest of Steles Museum and the Muslim Quarter, which can be visited together to experience the historical and cultural charm of Xi'an.

The scenery was breathtaking, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. All the supplies on the mountain were carried up step by step by human labor 🥹, so don't think 10 yuan for a sausage is expensive; I don't think it's expensive at all. The prices are already very fair considering that everything relies solely on human labor for transporting goods and garbage up and down the mountain. Definitely take the cable car up!! My knees and legs were already aching from just coming down 🥹. I was gritting my teeth and breathing oxygen the whole way, but it was worth it!!

Overall must visit, can get congested. Very beautiful and with the history of the clay and pottery in every day life you get to learn more. Great viewpoint followed by very lively markets. The only thing we didn’t get to go round the lower level because it was 17:45 and despite there was plenty of time it was closed(hence the 2 4s) at least we were allowed to take a picture of the bell.
During my trip, I bought a combined ticket for the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, which was very convenient, as the two attractions are not far apart. The security guards and service staff were very patient and answered all my questions. The attractions were excellent, each with its own unique features, and overall, I was left with a deep impression of Xi'an.

It's definitely a must-visit tourist destination in Xi'an. It's worth visiting if you want to learn about history, but if you're looking for a park experience, there's not much to see, and it's not very cost-effective.
Beautiful place to visit, great if you have time to slowly stroll as the area is very big. For a better experience, check the show times and plan the visit accordingly

The Shaanxi History Museum, located northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an, is a national comprehensive history museum with a collection of over 370,000 artifacts, systematically showcasing Shaanxi's glorious civilization from prehistoric times to modern times.
The Shaanxi History Museum in Xi'an is like a living history book. Spanning over 70,000 square meters, its Tang Dynasty-style architecture exudes a majestic grandeur. Upon entering, I was captivated by the bronze Fei Lian statue overhead. Warm yellow light shone on the slate-gray brick walls, casting a gentle veil over history. The glass cabinets in the exhibition hall resemble time capsules, housing over 370,000 artifacts. When the instructor explained that 18 national treasures were hidden here, my eyes were immediately drawn to the rusted bronze artifacts. A large tripod with Taotie patterns from the Shang and Zhou dynasties stood quietly, as if guarding a secret from thousands of years ago. The ancient human exhibits astonished me most. Clinging to the glass, I strained to identify the skull fossil of the Lantian Man—this Shaanxi native, 1.15 million years ago, could actually scrape animal skins with stone flakes! A nearby interactive model demonstrated how to make fire by drilling wood together, and the dancing flames reflected on the delighted faces of the children.

There were no signs along the way, so I took a lot of wrong turns. There were very few seats inside the museum to watch the shows, and there weren't many tourists. The places to visit were just average, but the scenes were indeed very Tang Dynasty-style, and I could take some great photos. Overall, the value for money was so-so. If you have enough time, you can still go and have a look!
Strolling through the streets of Chang'an Twelve Hours, the melodious sounds of ancient music fill the air, the fragrance of sandalwood permeates the atmosphere, and exquisite Tang Dynasty handicrafts are on display everywhere, making it a place you'll want to linger.

The Tang Dynasty Never Sleeping City is not only a tourist attraction but also a carrier of cultural heritage. It regularly hosts cultural activities such as Tang poetry recitals and traditional musical instrument performances, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the literary and artistic achievements of the Tang Dynasty while enjoying their visit.
The Tang Dynasty Never Sleeping City is truly vast, especially beautiful at night. With all the lights on, it feels like stepping back into the Tang Dynasty. Both sides are lined with antique-style buildings, and the streets are filled with young women dressed in period costumes—perfect for taking photos. There are also many delicious foods to enjoy.

This scenic area is steeped in history and stories. It includes the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, but climbing the pagoda requires an additional fee. It offers great value for money and is a top choice for tourists visiting Xi'an. However, the scenic area only has one entrance and exit, which is not very convenient, and the traffic around the scenic area is somewhat chaotic.
I went to the famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is located at the end of the Tang Dynasty City That Never Sleeps. It is not large in scale, but has a long-standing reputation. It was drizzling and there were not many people. I wandered around alone and felt the Buddhist culture of the Tang Dynasty.

The breeze of history whispers past my ears; the former glory has faded, leaving only ruins that bear no trace of the past. Yet, the Daming Palace in my heart can be ever-changing, allowing me to stroll quietly and contemplate in silence.
Shaanxi History Museum: Advance reservations are required. It has 7 halls; halls 1, 2, and 3 are closed for renovations. Halls 4 and 5 are very small; the main exhibits are in halls 6 and 7. A guided tour of halls 6 and 7 costs approximately 350 yuan and takes about 2 hours. There is no self-guided audio guide. It's quite expensive. Da Ci'en Temple: There is a free incense offering area. Climbing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is not included; an additional fee is required. It takes about an hour to see everything. The musical fountain at the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is magnificent and beautiful. There are two shows at 8 pm and 9 pm, each about 20 minutes long, worth watching. Afterwards, I strolled to the Tang Paradise. This was my second visit; it wasn't anything new, just a commercial street with no shows, and the food was very expensive. Daming Palace National Heritage Park: This was my second visit. It wasn't crowded during the week. Enter through Danfeng Gate. There's a Danfeng Gate Museum; a combined ticket allows entry. At the exit, there's a mini-train (39 yuan per person) that circles the outside of the Daming Palace National Heritage Park. From the exit, walk across the bridge to the ticket checkpoint. After entering, I recommend taking the park's electric shuttle bus. It costs 29 yuan per person, 39 yuan per person during peak season, to reach the Daming Palace Ruins Museum. I suggest buying the Ctrip all-inclusive ticket for 88 yuan, which includes the entrance fee (60 yuan), the shuttle bus, and a free guided tour. The visit inside takes about 40 minutes. After exiting the museum, you'll see a miniature landscape of Daming Palace. After viewing the miniature landscape, you can take the shuttle bus to tour the entire site. You can get off at any time, but it's not really necessary; you can see everything from the bus. The shuttle bus also provides commentary. It goes all the way to the park exit. Xi'an City Wall I entered from the south entrance of Yongning Gate and exited from Hanguang Gate, which took about 40 minutes. If you walk and rest occasionally, it should take about half an hour. It's very sunny in the morning during this season; I recommend going in the evening if you're in summer. There are also bicycles for rent on the city wall for 45 yuan for 3 hours.
