On November 15, 2025, I unexpectedly had a trip to Xi'an due to the autumn break in Sichuan. On November 17, I visited the Xi'an Museum. Although it wasn't as large as the Shaanxi History Museum (it was impossible to get a reservation), it still had a rich collection and a unique historical charm. I saw some of the museum's treasures, such as the Sui Dynasty Kaihuang Gilded Amitabha Buddha Statue, the Qin Dynasty Jade High-Footed Cup, and the Tang Dynasty Tricolor Glazed Pottery Horse in Flight. However, it was very crowded and the crowds were uncivilized. Many people were sitting on the display cases inside the museum. It was the first time I'd ever seen such disorder in a museum; it was truly baffling!
Next to the museum is the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Although not as famous as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the autumn air was crisp and the gardens were beautiful. The elegant and upright Small Wild Goose Pagoda exuded a sense of solitude and seclusion. There was also a spot in the park with a patch of ginkgo trees, their golden leaves a beautiful contrast of gold and orange. It was definitely worth the trip!
