Luxor Temple is a must-visit for anyone exploring Egypt’s ancient wonders — a remarkably preserved open-air site in the heart of Luxor that reflects over 3,000 years of history. From the towering statues of Ramesses II to the Colonnade of Amenhotep III and the still-functioning Abu Haggag Mosque built atop the ruins, every corner blends ancient power with timeless beauty. 🎫Entry is 500 EGP (payable by card), and it’s best to arrive before the midday heat. If you're flying in from Cairo, a same-day trip is completely doable. 🚕Uber from the airport costs around 60–70 EGP, but taxis are more reliable when heading back — expect to pay 80–100 EGP. Plan for at least an hour to explore, wear comfortable shoes, and don’t miss the Avenue of Sphinxes at sunset.
The history of the temple of Luxor is shocking, as if every stone tells the story of a thousand years. Bathed in the glory of this history, I am deeply attracted. It is not only a miracle of architecture, but also a witness to time. Every time I approach, I can feel the weight of history and the depth of culture. Here, I have experienced the charm of history and the greatness of human civilization. Whether it is the exquisite details of the building, or the solemnity of the overall atmosphere, it is awe-inspiring. The temple of Luxor is indeed a pearl of human civilization.

It is well worth a visit. The Karnak Temple is probably the largest existing temple in Egypt, at least the largest open-air one. It is well worth a visit to feel the imposing manner of the huge stone pillars.
I recently visited the Karnake Temple, a breathtaking historical monument. The scale of the entire complex is awe-inspiring to the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization. Each stone pillar and every stone monument are depicted with fine patterns and hieroglyphics, reflecting the high artistic and architectural skills of the ancient Egyptians. Walking between these historical monuments, it seems that you can travel through time and space and feel the glory and mystery of ancient Egypt.

It is relatively small in scale. It is said that there are animal mummies inside. I thought they were large-scale mummies, but in fact, they are not. The scale is far different from that of the Ebo Mummy Museum. This is just child's play and you can completely avoid coming.
It's average. The museum is very small, and the collections are pitifully small. There's basically nothing to see. It's a very boring attraction. I don't recommend it. You'll regret it if you come here.

The Luxor Museum is very magnificent. It is a great place to enjoy the scenery. The museum is also a very large venue. The building area of these places is very good. [Scenery] The scenery here is very lovely [Fun] Very interesting
Luxor Museum is a famous natural and historical museum in Luxor. Couples will definitely like it here. The price is not high, and the two mummies are worth visiting this museum. Obviously, it is not as big as the museum in Cairo, and there are obviously fewer exhibits, but the display and the whole atmosphere of this place are very good.

The Sphinx Avenue in Luxor is an important commercial avenue in the ancient city of Luxor. There are some ancient buildings on both sides of the road, and there are many shops on the first floor of the buildings, including restaurants and many handicraft shops. It is the most worthwhile place to shop in Luxor, you can come and have a look.
[Egypt & Luxor] Sleep until you wake up naturally, and walk to the Luxor Temple opposite. After visiting the temple, continue to have milkshakes at McDonald's opposite [cover face]. This trip to Egypt, you must drink enough milkshakes [struggle][struggle][struggle]. Come out of McDonald's and take a horse [grin], and continue walking to the next temple. Introducing Sphinx Avenue Sphinx Avenue extends from Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple, three or four kilometers away. The two sides of this road were originally covered with stone statues of sphinxes. Now we can still see this avenue, but there are very few sphinx statues on both sides. Despite this, we can still feel the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization! On the way back, the carriage driver took us to the market for a short stroll to experience the city life of the Egyptian people. [grin][grin][grin]

The world's largest open-air museum - the glory created by ancient Egypt thousands of years ago. Wherever you go, there are ancient monuments. There is a heavy sense of history here. The Valley of the Kings, where 40 pharaohs are buried, is a place to walk around. There are many ancient monuments scattered on the streets, and there are also super cute kittens.
It is dedicated to the sun god Amon and was an important place for sacrifices in ancient times. Like an ancient city, it exudes the breath of history. The two rows of rams stand respectfully like the guardian of gods.

In addition to watching the temples in Luxor during the day, there are also wonderful sound and light shows at night. This experience is different from the daytime visit, including the Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temple. The images of the temple's towers and statues appear very mysterious and unfathomable in the sound and light under the night sky. The sound and light show is accompanied by explanations, which are arranged according to the sound and light images, introducing the history, culture, religious activities, etc. of ancient Egypt.
Look at the time of arrival. If you visit directly during the day, it will be late, so you can watch the sound and light show. When visiting the Egyptian Temple of Gada, you must listen to the explanation, otherwise it will feel the same. Watching the sound and light show is more about listening to the explanation to understand the history of the time.
