To get to Walden Pond, you need to take the morning commuter train from Boston North Station in Massachusetts to Concord. After getting off the train, walk southeast along Thoreau Street, then turn right at the first big intersection and walk straight toward Walden Street. After crossing a big intersection with a traffic light, continue walking a short distance forward and you will find Walden Pond on the right. The distance from Concord Train Station to Walden Pond is about five kilometers, and there is no public transportation or taxis.
This secret place, which is famous all over the world because of the title of the book, left a deep impression on me many years ago. At that time, the teacher said that he was reading Walden for the third time.
Car rental:
This place is not on the list of popular scenic spots. I left as soon as I said I would. I packed up and went out at 11 am and walked to the store for 10 minutes. Departure:
It was very smooth to drive all the way. It took more than 40 minutes to arrive. There is a parking lot next to the lake.
