Chichu Art Museum, mainly to see Monet's paintings, the master's original works are not allowed to take pictures inside, so I took pictures of the building, which is also the work of Master Ando Tadao. At the entrance, you will pass by a Monet-style small garden. Apart from Monet's paintings, the other two exhibition halls are just so-so.
Although Tadao Ando is not as well-known as Master Ieoh Ming Pei, he is also a national treasure architect in Japan. In order not to destroy the view of Setouchi National Park, he built the museum underground. Looking down from the air, simple geometric shapes open to the sky ~ the Chichu Art Museum got its name from this. You can't take pictures in the museum, but the pictures taken outside are already very shocking. The architect's use of light and geometry has reached the pinnacle. There are not many exhibits in the museum, but there are many amazing ones: Monet's "Water Lilies", James Turrell's Open Sky/Blue Planet Sky, etc. You can only understand the charm of art by seeing it with your own eyes! ! !
