Totally enjoyed this park where the bears are so active. The duck race is quite funny.
It’s a great place to visit. I won a duck race 😎 and fed a bear. Bears are just amazing and very polite. There is a museum about bears and a village with old houses. You can write a letter and draw a picture for a bear. Also, there are great views, and there is a plush bear in every rope cabin. Definitely worth visiting.

the devil is tempting, with los of famous onsen hotels there, you can enjoy the really good experience there , very nice .
To be honest, it's really great. I didn't expect Jigokudani to be so beautiful before I came to Japan. But the sulfur smell in the air is so bad. In terms of duration, for tourists who like photography, this place is very suitable for time-lapse shooting, which will take a little more time, about 1.5-2 hours. For tourists who just want to see the scenery and take some check-in photos, it takes about 1 hour to go back and forth. It's a pity that I can't go up to Oyunuma in winter. I want to try it again when summer comes.

The exterior is a European castle, with few people. As soon as you enter the door, you will see a large touch screen area with sea urchins, starfish, sea cucumbers, and rays. The museum is not big, but it is very warm inside. There is also a sea lion and turtle area outside the museum, but we didn't see it during the penguin parade. The gashapon machine at the door was broken, and the staff was super persistent and repaired it for a long time, insisting that we spin it out.
This marine park is very near Noboribetsu JR just one bus stop away or even can walk from Noboribetsu JR station which takes around 15-20 mins. You can watch different attractions according to the scheduled time, like penguin parade, sealion and dophine show. Is cute to watch penguins parade as the penguins are walking very near us.

A "village" with a strong Edo-era style. The buildings inside are undoubtedly interesting for tourists who like Japanese Warring States culture, but they are limited to buildings. With the blessing of the snow, the scenery can be given 4.5+, but it may only be 4 points on weekdays. But it is very interesting. There are many interesting small projects in the village to experience, such as the monster house, ninja experience and other free projects, and other projects that can be experienced for 500 yen. Not only that, there are four performances of three different themes of "Ninja, Samurai, and Oiran" every day, and the time of each round can just connect. For me personally, the fun of the performance is: Samurai> Ninja> Oiran, but they are all interesting. After all, these performances are already included in the ticket. You can experience the culture of the Edo period in person, which is worth the trip. The biggest disadvantage is the price. The price of 159 per adult is really a bit expensive. Although it may be because of the high prices in Japan, it is indeed expensive. After the overall visit, including watching three performances, it is only about 2 hours, which is slightly not worth it. Therefore, it is recommended that tourists who are not history fans/Japanese Warring States fans should consider carefully. I was traveling alone and did not have the opportunity to take photos. If you are traveling as a couple, I recommend renting a set of clothes in the park to take some beautiful photos for your girlfriend. I believe she will be very happy (
A wonderful cultural village with ninja, samurai. It’s also exceptionally beautiful place for taking photos. Do download the web coupon for some discounts. Best to enter in the morning because it will take more than 5 hours to go through the village and shows. Parking is 500 Yen.Visited on a Monday and it was not that crowded , There is a direct bus from Noboribetsu station.Nice cultural village, it was very educational and fun.

the town is nice and of cos onsen is the most famous experience there , the snowy atmosphere is great for the onsen, good for going
I came here for the hot springs and Noboribetsu Jigokudani. Since it is not the peak tourist season, the town is particularly quiet. The air is filled with the smell of sulfur everywhere, uh, it is very much like rotten eggs. Except for a few restaurants at night, shops, souvenir shops, etc. are closed early. Walking on the street, there is only the sound of feet tapping on the road. Only when you walk into the restaurant and hot spring hotel, you seem to be back to the bustling world. The town is not big, and it takes half a day to walk around.

The Noboribetsu area is a volcanic area. The abundant geothermal heat and precipitation create hot springs, making it the most popular hot spring resort on the island, known as "Japan's No. 1 Hot Spring". There are hot spring hotels and shops on both sides of Noboribetsu Hot Spring Street. Many of the goods in the shops are related to ghosts. Walking in the town, you can see many sculptures about ghosts, and there are various sacrificial activities in different seasons.
Walking along the mountain from Jigokudani, we arrived at another scenic spot formed by volcanoes - Oyunuma. A hot spring stream overflowing from Oyunuma is available for tourists to soak their feet. The black volcanic mud inside is very comfortable to soak in.
