It takes about 2 hours to charter a car from your Bangkok hotel to Ayutthaya. You will pass through the highway, but after arriving at the zoo, the overall feeling is very good. It is very clean and not smelly. There is a wash basin at each animal entrance. There are many kinds of animals and a lot of them. We set off at 9 am and took pictures of the tigers and rode horses. We finished watching them around 4 pm! There are many feedings, and you can bring snacks to feed them. The feeding fee is 50 baht! The children like feeding crocodiles very much. There are so many crocodiles! Overall, it is very good and worth it.
This is worth the visit. You can skip the queue when you buy the ticket via the platform as opposed to queuing on site. A bit hot and there are tons of people but there are adequate parking space and has a wide variety of animals, animal shows and onsite activities. perfect for kids!

Very shocking ruins, although only 400 years old, but full of vicissitudes. If you don't want to spend money, you can take pictures outside and leave. Or walk into the alley behind the temple, which can satisfy all your imaginations of giant phobia (people with this disease may be scared to death if they go there at night)
I have been to all four famous temples in Ayutthaya. I have been to Wat Chai twice and will go again. It is the most photogenic, most worthwhile and most convenient scenic spot. The coffee shop at the entrance has the most beautiful scenery. You can just sit in the coffee shop for a day without going in.

History of Wat Yai Chai Mongkol is an ancient temple, built in the early Ayutthaya period, during the reign of King Ramathibodi I or another name is King U Thong, the monarch who founded Ayutthaya. According to legend, in 1900 B.E., King U Thong graciously ordered the body of Chao Kaew, who had died of cholera, to be exhumed and cremated.

Wat Phra Mahathat, Thailand, was a royal temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. It is one of the oldest and most significant temples in the history of Ayutthaya as it housed the Buddha's holy relic. Many important royal ceremonies of the Ayutthaya era had been hosted here. When the Ayutthaya Kingdom failed in 1767, Wat Phra Mahathat was severely damaged by fire and was since abandoned. The temple is located in the area of the Ayutthaya Historical Park nowadays. Attractions in Wat Phra Mahathat of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya include remains of important old buildings such as pagodas, octagonal pagodas, royal hall, small temples, murals under a Bodhi tree, and the famous sand-stone Ayutthaya-style head of the Buddha image in a tree's root.
The famous Buddha face sat on the tree trunk is here. no doubt the biggest attractions but on overall, the ruin of the gigantic temple is also amazing

During the day always crowded by tourists coming with bus tour, but in the evening it is calm. Worth it to visit, give angkor wat feeling, different temples (active and non-active)
If you’d like to escape the city , this is the place to go. This ancient city is located one hour from Bangkok.

I visited Wat Phanang Chong because it was said to have a famous Buddha statue... While looking around to see if there was a Buddha statue, I was really surprised to see a huge Buddha statue inside a small door~
Wat Phanan Choeng is an ancient temple of Ayutthaya. The temple grounds are spacious. If you are bringing a tour group or bringing students, I recommend you to pay homage to Luang Pho To here.

Looking for something to eat? Coconut sugar, sweet and refreshing, perfect for the hot weather. But I can't remember the name of the shop. The shop is on the corner.
Ayothaya Floating Market covers an area of approximately 80 rai and is considered a place for cultural conservation tourism in Thailand. Since its establishment, it has become a tourist attraction in the heart of the city. It focuses on reflecting the Thai way of life in the Ayutthaya period, whether it be in terms of clothing, local performances, games, food, various utensils, as well as customs and traditions, and architecture that maintains the unique beauty of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

who enjoy strolling around important historical sites in a foreign country and learning about its history, I bet you'd love Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the royal temple of Ayutthaya.
Wat Phra Si Sanphet is a former royal temple of the ancient palace. Its most important point of interest is the three Sri Lankan-style pagodas arranged along the east and west sides. It is the prototype of Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram in the Grand Palace, which did not have monks residing there.
