The National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium (NMMBA), located in Checheng Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan, is the country&#39;s premier marine science center and one of Asia&rsquo;s top-rated aquariums.  Established in 2000, the museum spans 96.81 hectares, with 35.81 hectares dedicated to its main exhibition areas  .🐠 Main Exhibition Halls1. Waters of Taiwan: This exhibit showcases Taiwan&rsquo;s diverse aquatic ecosystems, from mountain streams to coastal reefs.

The National Museum of Marine Biology &amp; Aquarium is a breathtaking dive into the wonders of the ocean, where science meets spectacle. From the awe-inspiring Coral Kingdom to the vast Open Ocean tank with its majestic whale sharks and rays, every exhibit immerses you in the beauty and mystery of marine life. Wander through underwater tunnels, marvel at glowing jellyfish, and get up close with playful penguins and otters.

Very interesting trip. If you go from Taipei to the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, the whole trip takes about five hours by train and two train changes. The whole trip is not boring at all. The arrangement is very good and the staff is very friendly. You need to book about a month in advance (book early! Must book early!) Arrange the order of accommodation according to the scheduled payment time! I have stayed in the more popular underwater tunnel and the large glass tank, each has its own merits. It is recommended that the elderly and children do not book the penguin house, which is humid and cold.

This is my second visit to the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. Compared with the last visit in 2014, there is basically no change. The characteristic of the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium is that you can stay overnight. Compared with the overnight stay fee of 700 per person in Shanghai, the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium is much cheaper, and it is very suitable for taking children to stay overnight to experience it. But we finally gave up with the elderly and children.

The National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium is divided into three halls: Coral Kingdom, Taiwan Sea and World Sea. The characteristics of the Coral Kingdom are corals and the underwater tunnel built based on the feeling of a shipwreck. The characteristic of the Taiwan Sea is the ocean pool. When we went there at 10 o&#39;clock, there were feeding and popular science explanations. The most distinctive features of the World Sea are the giant seaweed and the polar hall. The penguin hall is the most lively exhibition hall, with dozens of emperors. The penguin hall is quite cold, and you definitely can&#39;t stay for a long time if you don&#39;t wear too much clothes.

The aquarium does not need animals to perform shows. Relatively speaking, animals are more comfortable. All large marine animals are completed by projection animation.

The staff who took photos inside were very friendly and made many, many poses, and none of them were repeated.

It&#39;s not very convenient to get here, but luckily we drove here this time and had lunch directly in the aquarium. If you really want to take a look around, I think it will take at least 3-4 hours.

The place is great, suitable for families and children. I enjoyed it a lot. There are places to relax and unwind, with all services available.

My whole day was soothed by the capybaras&#39; adorable clumsiness! Their slow, leisurely pace and relaxed, half-closed eyes are just irresistibly cute. Watching them languidly lifts my spirits.

Although the park is small, you can freely feed and interact with capybaras at close range (there were three capybaras in the feeding area that day and they were open for free photos and interactions). There are relatively few sika deer and they are all small. It is a very suitable place for family travel to interact with animals, suitable for staying for about half an hour
