Buying a pass is more worthwhile. Online sources say the Organ Museum offers free admission, but they only release 100 tickets at midnight, which is too much trouble. Buying a pass directly saves time. I stayed on the island for two days, which allowed me to visit all these places, making it a good option. Gulangyu Island isn't too crowded right now, and group deals for food and activities are inexpensive, making this the perfect time to visit.
Personally, I think it's well worth the trip. The shallow strait allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience a sense of harmony between humanity and nature. Head to the mountains and the sea; if the weather is good, take photos to preserve the beautiful memories. If not, don't worry, because there's much to savor. The towering European-style buildings tell tales of the past, stirring the heart. Wandering through the alleys, countless bougainvillea blooms at the corners seem to breathe new life into the deep courtyards, constantly reminding people to remember history and move forward. Let the sea breeze blow away the gloom in your heart, let the gentle waves awaken the surging emotions within. From the natural landscape to the old objects displayed in various museums, from the sounds of nature to the melodious piano music, it makes you feel that life is worthwhile. Memory is the evidence of existence, and existence makes memory endure…

Entering from the south gate, you take an elevator all the way to the top of the mountain, and then ride a shuttle bus from one stop to another. The area is filled with greenery, a natural oxygen bar, very comfortable. We even saw a giant goose standing on one leg – it was so big inside, it was a bit tiring for my legs!
To be honest, this place is more suitable for older people. Young people might just want to take a quick photo, but there's not much to it. As a Northeasterner myself, I didn't find it particularly interesting. The park is quite large; a normal visit would take at least 4 hours, as waiting for the sightseeing bus at each stop takes about 5-10 minutes.

The scenery in the first half was unremarkable, but after crossing a hill, there was an amazing sea view. At first, I thought I could get off the bus to take pictures, but it turned out that I couldn't get off the bus at all. However, the scenery was nice. People who are used to seeing the sea may not like it, but those from inland areas will definitely like it.
Each cable car can carry two people, with a combined weight limit of 340 jin (approximately 170 catties). My boyfriend weighs 248 jin (approximately 124 catties), so I, at 105 jin (approximately 52.5 catties), had to find someone to share the ride with. If you ride alone, you need to buy a two-person ticket for 160 yuan (normally 80 yuan). The ride offers panoramic views of Xiamen and takes 40 minutes round trip, which is well worth it.

Yesterday, I went to Window of the World in Shenzhen with my colleagues. It's currently in its amusement park season, so there are tons of fun attractions, most of which are free, making it great value for money. The scenery is beautiful, with many miniature replicas of famous landmarks. It's a great place for leisure and recreation; I recommend it.
There's a really thrilling haunted house here. Whether it's day or night, the photos you take will be amazing. And during the carnival, there are all sorts of fun games and attractions.

Stepping into Yunshuiyao is like entering a slow-motion ancient painting. The thousand-year-old banyan tree, with its lush foliage and drooping aerial roots swaying gently in the stream breeze, and the ancient cobblestone path, polished smooth by time, is the very location featured in the film "Yunshuiyao." The Hegui Building, perched atop the marshland, is a marvel. Climbing it, the earthen building appears to float above the wetlands. The carved doors and windows of Huaiyuan Building hold the secrets of Hakka culture; the morning light filtering through the courtyard creates a serene beauty. Walking along the stream, you'll see the old waterwheel turning gently. Enjoy a taro bun in the afternoon, and watch the lanterns along the stream light up one by one in the evening. Avoiding the crowds, listen to the elderly residents of the earthen buildings humming folk songs; time seems to stretch out, filled with the poetry and everyday life of this ancient village.
The last attraction on the National Day itinerary wasn't crowded. Yunshuiyao and Tulou are connected, so they're considered the same scenic spot. Why is it called Yunshuiyao? I couldn't figure it out, but later I learned that Chen Kun filmed a movie there, so they named it Yunshuiyao. The scenery is incredibly beautiful, with dozens of ancient banyan trees dating back hundreds of years... and several round Tulou buildings, all unique to Fujian. It's best to hire a guide to explore the area, so you can get a better understanding of the culture and history.

Hulishan Fort, located on Hulishan Mountain in the southern part of Xiamen Island in Fujian Province, my country, is a historic military facility. Built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it served as a crucial component of China's modern coastal defense. Numerous ancient artillery pieces are on display here, each bearing a rich historical story and bearing witness to Xiamen Island's turbulent history.
The ticket price is 25 yuan per person, which is very cost-effective. I arrived around 10 o'clock in the morning just in time to watch the show. After watching the show, I walked around. The scenic area is very clean and comfortable, and there is a different world inside.

The mountain is very high and takes a long time to climb, about four hours to go up and down. The scenery is very nice and the atmosphere is not too commercial. Laojun Rock is worth seeing. However, the service is not very good. The ticket inspectors speak Mandarin poorly and it is difficult to understand. The spring water on the mountain is a bit expensive at 7 yuan. Although it is not as good as the famous mountains and rivers, it also has its own regional characteristics. The facilities on the mountain need to be further improved, and the safety needs to be further improved!
During the National Day holiday, I came to Quanzhou for a tour. My first choice was Qingyuan Mountain, which is lush with trees and full of greenery. I visited the stupa of Master Hongyi and was moved by his spirit of saving all living beings and his patriotism. The statue of Laozi was lifelike and vivid. It was worth the trip!

Nan'ao Island "No Shadow Cast by a Pole" Experience Review The Tropic of Cancer marker tower, known as the "Gate of Nature," in Qing'ao Bay on Nan'ao Island is the perfect place to experience the spectacular "no shadow cast by a pole" phenomenon, a true highlight of the island's cultural tourism. At noon on the summer solstice, the sun shines perpendicularly on the Tropic of Cancer, creating a spectacular astronomical phenomenon where the pole casts no shadow. Trying to experience it firsthand allows you to truly appreciate the wonder of nature and human in harmony. The tower, shaped like an abstract "gate," with its metal structure against the backdrop of blue sky and sea, is a photographer's dream. Even outside of the summer solstice season, it's a great spot to watch the sunrise and enjoy panoramic views of Qing'ao Bay. The white sand and clear waters offer perfect backdrops for stunning photos. The surrounding area is well-equipped, with the beach and seafood restaurants within walking distance, ensuring a seamless experience. The only minor drawback is the large number of tourists on the summer solstice; arriving early is essential to secure a good viewing spot. Overall, the "no shadow when the pole is in motion" phenomenon is not only a unique astronomical experience, but also a microcosm of the natural and cultural charm of Nan'ao Island. It deserves to be included in the must-visit list for islands, and is especially suitable for families with children and photography enthusiasts.
Nan'ao Island boasts a variety of tourist attractions, including Huanghuashan National Forest Park, Songjing Well, Jinyin Island, the General's Mansion, Nanshan Temple, Yungai Temple, and Pingshan Rock. Huanghuashan National Forest Park is a natural botanical garden in the South China Sea, rich in tropical and subtropical plants and wildlife. Songjing Well is an ancient water source, said to be over 700 years old. Jinyin Island is the legendary site where Wu Ping hid his treasure; it features a stone statue of a beautiful woman and is known as the "Miraculous Songjing Well." The General's Mansion is a famous historical and cultural site with rich historical and cultural significance and importance to cross-strait relations. Nanshan Temple is an ancient temple with solemn architecture and a serene environment. Yungai Temple, rebuilt by Abbess Shi Tongjiao, is a thousand-year-old temple. Pingshan Rock is an ancient and solemn Buddhist temple, a scenic spot with enchanting landscapes, and a treasure trove of poetry and calligraphy. Nan'ao Island offers a diverse range of tourist attractions, each with its own unique characteristics, making it a worthwhile destination.

My child was so excited about the whale specimen, and was immediately overwhelmed by its sheer size. He cried... a true example of "Lord Ye's love of dragons" (a Chinese idiom meaning someone who professes to love something but is actually afraid of it)... hahaha. The guide was incredibly gentle and patient, and I thoroughly enjoyed the explanations! A million thumbs up!
This science and technology museum uses a "visible and tangible" approach to make dry scientific knowledge lively and engaging. Whether it's the basic science exhibition area for teenagers or the cutting-edge technology exhibition for adults, both areas offer tailored teaching methods. The exhibition areas feature concise and clear explanations, along with animated demonstrations and interactive experiments, making even complex physical laws easily accessible. More than just an exhibition space, it serves as a bridge connecting the public and science, making it a perfect base for popular science education.
