The first stop on Bali, it is a less popular attraction but very interesting.
Maybe the location is not in a popular attraction, and the transportation is not very convenient, but because our hotel is in Sukawati, it is very close, so it is okay. There are many Europeans and Americans in the morning on weekdays, but not too many Asians, and many children are very excited.
I originally thought that the park was not very big, but it felt okay after actually visiting it. If you want to visit every area, it should take 2-3 hours.
It is said that there are more than 1,000 birds and more than 250 different species in the park. In addition to birds, there are Komodo dragons, and there will be a feeding show for Komodo dragons at noon. Basically, there will be different performances every half an hour, and you can get close to the animals.
There will be parrots at the entrance, and there will be an owl 🦉 hut a little further in. There is a large garden dome in the middle of the whole area, where you can go in and interact with various birds at zero distance, and there will be Komodo dragons a little deeper.
The staff are also very friendly and will take the initiative to ask if you want the birds to jump on you to interact with you. The birds are all very well-behaved, especially the parrots, which are very cute, but they do like to call. You can also hear their voices during the performance.
In the dome in the center of the park, various birds move freely inside, and they will not fly away even if you get close, so you can interact with the birds at a very close distance. The birds are very friendly. You can also see a group of birds passing by you, or encounter a cute little one at a certain intersection. It can be seen that the birds living in the park are very happy.
The overall experience exceeded expectations and it is a very worthwhile attraction.
