I bought a VIP ticket this time to skip the line and enter the park. The VIP service was excellent. There were VIP service areas at each stage where I could rest and enjoy free snacks, fruit, and mineral water. Huangguoshu Waterfall is a truly breathtaking sight and soul-stirring experience, awe-inspiring as it is the wonders of nature. It was well worth it!
On the first day, we arrived a little after 10:00 AM. Seeing the long line for the Huangguoshu Waterfall shuttle bus, we headed straight for the lower section of Tianxing Bridge. Before we even entered, we heard an announcement that the cable car was under maintenance and the entire journey would take three hours, so our elderly family member skipped it. It did take three hours. Because of the crowds, there were long lines to enter and exit Tianxing Cave and Yinlianzhui Pond, which added at least an hour to our visit. Afterward, we ate and took a nap. In the afternoon, we went to Doupotang. The next morning, we headed back to the scenic area to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall at 8:00 AM. The escalator package for the waterfall was easy, and with Doupotang, a half-day was more than enough. Since we couldn't get a reservation for Water Curtain Cave, reservations were waived for VIPs. The observation deck closest to the main entrance was inaccessible without a reservation or VIPs. 🌝🌝 Tianxing Bridge is not very friendly to the elderly and children, with many steps and a long, narrow path. Yinlianzhui Pond was nice, but the cable car might be a bit better.

During the peak tourist season, I stayed in a hotel near the scenic area in advance and entered the park early the next morning. The entire Stone Forest is divided into the Big Stone Forest and the Small Stone Forest. Personally, I think there is nothing to see in the Small Stone Forest except Ashima. The scenery behind the Big Stone Forest is good and it is still possible to walk slowly.

It would have been quite convenient to walk from Gantong to Xima Cao and then pay the 50 yuan per person difference to take the cable car down the mountain, but now you have to climb 1,200 steps to get to Xima Cao, which is a bummer. They are currently building another staircase or elevator nearby, so it may be improved in the future.
The cable car is the first choice for parent-child travel. The pool water is much clearer. The queue for the battery car in Longmen Scenic Area is too long, so I gave up decisively. It is still necessary to walk around Nie Er's Tomb after getting off the cable car.

Taking my two kids to the Miledong Fengyun area was beyond our expectations! The red brick buildings in the area were a real delight for the kids. The Kaleidoscope Art Museum resembled a castle made of colorful building blocks, and the kids ran around it, exclaiming, "It looks like a magic house!" The photos were filled with their delighted smiles. The vast lawn became a natural playground, where they chased butterflies and lay on the grass to watch the clouds. The kids had a blast running around all afternoon without even complaining of fatigue. Along the way, there were many little surprises: adorable sculptures hidden in the grass, and a roadside stall selling colorful cotton candy. The kids ate and browsed, their eyes overflowing. In the evening, we rested on a bench by the sea of flowers, watching the sunset gild the red brick buildings. My eldest child sketched with a paintbrush, while my second child chased squirrels. The scene was truly soothing. The most thoughtful amenities were the family-friendly facilities: rest areas were everywhere for children to refill their water bottles and change clothes, and the restrooms had dedicated child-friendly sinks, so even with a stroller, we could complete the entire route without encountering any steps. The scenic area's trains are slow and leisurely, leaving children waving with excitement while adults can take a break. Our B&B is located near the scenic area, just a 10-minute walk away. At night, we can take our children out to admire the stars, listen to the chirping of insects, and reminisce about the day's fun. In short, there's no crowds here, but there's space for children to unleash their inner selves. The perfect blend of art and nature is a surefire way to bring your kids!
To be honest, the Kaleidoscope Art Museum is pretty good, but there are no flowers in the flower fields. There are too many tourists and the staff feel that they can't handle it. There are too many people. Taking a photo is like squeezing. The quality of tourists seems to be not high. They don't care, especially some uncles and aunts. Alas, I can't stand it.

Zhijin Cave is worthy of being a scenic spot. It is indeed worth a visit. There are many strange peaks and strange stone squats in the cave. The whole journey is less than an hour and a half. The elderly and children have no problem with their physical strength. The Grand Canyon feels average, 60 yuan only includes sightseeing cars and elevators, and the ferry tickets have to be bought separately. After playing, I found that the scenic spots in Guizhou are very high in fares, and the sightseeing tickets are especially expensive, and a scenic spot often has to be divided into two or three scenic spots. You have to take a sightseeing bus between the scenic spots and buy tickets separately. It is quite complicated. Anyway, the per capita fare is200-300.

It was a worthwhile and wonderful trip. Thanks to Ctrip for arranging it. The free day on the last day was like an extra day of leisure time because our flight was late. The hotel had average reviews online, but I thought the transportation was very convenient. We visited most of the planned attractions. It was a very happy time with the Luo family.
There are lots of performances every day, and it's always fun when I bring friends from other provinces. You just have to immerse yourself in it, hahaha.
Nowadays, many buildings have restaurants (specializing in their respective ethnic groups), which is quite fun. You can enjoy roasted milk fan in the Bai village, and there are Dai-style restaurants in the Dai village. Restaurant prices are generally comparable to those outside the scenic area, so they're very affordable.

It's worth the price of admission. There are so many animals to interact with, and while it costs money, it's a lot of fun. Best of all, you can take photos with the tiger cubs and feed the big ones up close.
It feels more fun than the Beijing Wildlife Park, and there are so many more animals. I recommend spending the better part of a day here with your kids!
