I went there in July, and it seems that people over 60 are free to enter. There are indeed some fruits I have never seen before. I heard that mangoes are more beautiful when you go in May. I didn't expect there is a small zoo inside, which is perfect for taking the kids out when it's not too hot.
We went in July and saw some fruit we hadn't seen before. Besides sapodillas, jackfruits, and wax apples, there weren't many on the trees. I heard that going in May would be better for the mangoes. I didn't expect there's even a small zoo inside. The location is quite far from the city, and when I took a taxi, the driver said it was a matter of luck; if there weren't any nearby, we might have to wait a long time. Luckily, we were lucky and got picked up in just seven or eight minutes.

It turns out Boao is actually an island, connected to the mainland by a bridge. This venue is incredibly unique: a tranquil setting amidst the hustle and bustle, and security is easily arranged. The island isn't large, but the scenery is stunning. There's a sculpture of a turtle, and everyone's eager to touch its head. 👍 As for the architecture, it's certainly impressive. As soon as you step onto the island, you can see the flags of various countries fluttering in the wind.
The Boao Forum for Asia Permanent Site is a national 4A-level tourist attraction located on Dongyu Island, where the Wanquan River, Longgun River and Jiuqu River meet the sea, and borders the South China Sea. The island covers an area of more than 2,600 acres. From an aerial view, it looks like a giant turtle swimming towards the South China Sea. It is praised by UNESCO as "one of the most perfectly preserved virgin lands at the mouth of a river in the world." Boao Forum for Asia International Conference Center: with a total area of 37,000 square meters, it is divided into three floors. The second floor is the main venue, with an area of 2,592 square meters, which can accommodate 2,000 participants. The interior decoration is magnificent and equipped with advanced equipment such as a 6+1 simultaneous interpretation system.

The scenic area boasts unparalleled natural beauty. It features the southernmost Danxia landform in China, with bizarrely shaped rocks in countless forms. Climbing to the 328-meter summit of Denggaoling offers a panoramic view of Qionghai, where the Wanquan River meanders like a ribbon, creating a tranquil and expansive landscape painting together with the surrounding coconut groves and villages. A cable car ride gently ascends the mountain, offering shady views through dappled sunlight and picturesque scenery. Stepping into the tropical rainforest, with its entwined vines and babbling brooks, feels like entering a fairytale world.
We arrived in Boao and went to Baishiling. This is a mountain hike with lots of greenery. You can actually take a cable car, which takes about one to two hours to complete. My family of three walked up, took the cable car down, and even rode the glass slide in the middle. There were a lot of little ants on the mountain, so the hike was a bit tiring. However, the scenery along the way was nice, mostly under green trees. Although it was hot, we had a blast. You can buy tickets for the entrance and glass slide through Ctrip. They're cheaper than buying them on site, so remember to order them half an hour in advance.

China (Hainan) Nanhai Museum, a national first-class museum, is located in Tanmen Town, Qionghai City, Hainan Province. The museum was founded in April 2018 with a total construction area of 70,593 square meters. It is a comprehensive museum aimed at displaying the humanities, history and natural ecology of the South China Sea, protecting the cultural heritage of the South China Sea, and promoting cultural exchanges between countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road. As of 2022, China (Hainan) Nanhai Museum has 93,676 pieces (sets) of collections, 961 pieces/sets of precious cultural relics, 123 specimen collections, 1,222 pieces (sets) of collected collections, nearly 900 sets of various specimens, 3,572 pieces (pieces) of free donations, and a total annual audience of 189,077 people. The museum is divided into two areas, north and south. The south area is the main exhibition area, with 8 indoor exhibition halls and an open outdoor exhibition gallery; the north area has 2 exhibition halls, mainly used to introduce temporary exhibitions. In October 2019, the China (Hainan) Nanhai Museum was approved as a national 4A-level tourist attraction; in June 2020, it was rated as a popular science base of the Hainan Provincial Federation of Social Sciences. In December 2020, it was selected into the fourth batch of national first-class museums.
The Nanhai Museum is located in Tanmen Town, far from the downtown area of Qionghai. The bus is not very convenient and the waiting time is long. It is recommended to drive or take a taxi. The two venues are connected together. The first venue has several exhibition areas, including various shell specimens, precious giant clams and blue and white porcelain salvaged from the shipwreck. The second venue is partially closed and has a whale specimen. There is also a Nanhai restaurant with various meal sets, drinks and snacks. You can rest here when you are tired.

The Red Detachment of Women Memorial Park shows the heroic deeds of a group of "Qionghua" women who fought hard and fought against the enemy before the liberation of Hainan Island. It is very meaningful to visit. The scenic area is free to visit, and the memorial hall can be entered by swiping your ID card
The memorial park is next to the highway from Wanning to Haikou. It takes only a few minutes to get there after exiting the highway. It is a red tourist attraction. You can enter the park for free by swiping your ID card. There are quite a few people coming here. Because it is free, there are many tour groups. Haha. There is also a "Nan Mansion" inside, which is said to be built in the style of the "Nan Tyrant's" home. It's an eye-opener.
