I recently experienced this restaurant right after Christmas.The entire experience is exceptional. The restaurant has an atmosphere that is unmatched. The cocktail sitting room transported me back in time to memories of my own grandmothers home. The service was top notch. All the staff are knowledgeable and attentive. Watching the chefs create your dish while you’re seated around the island is an entertaining experience.

I especially like to eat oysters. This time I punched in this Fish Company store. This oyster is really superb and fresh. And the restaurant is close to the beach and the scenery is first-class.
Driven by the night road, it was completely dark, and I couldn't go to the small blue lake I wanted to shoot, I could only find a restaurant in Reykjavik. I have eaten two grill market and fish market before, so this time I chose one fish company. I personally feel that fish company is more international and diversified. There are various cuisines, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, and Icelandic dishes on a global trip. Fish Company also has a similar tasting menu, but in order to save trouble, we will order the main dish directly. I asked for a lamb directly. I just like Icelandic lamb cuisine very much. There is no stew and it is very tender. Since it is called Fish Company, I definitely recommend all kinds of fish dishes in his house, so I ordered a cod by the way. The third thing to recommend is this seafood soup, the name on the menu is Fiji Coconut, a bit similar to lobster soup, but there are various fish, very delicious.

We had an outstanding meal at the chef’s table. Incredible service, meticulous attention to detail on the menu but served at an enjoyable pace and plenty of friendly conversation with the staff. One of our favorite meals ever with an emphasis on local ingredients and preparation while being highly original. Definitely will return and experience again.
