It's a great place for children, as it's very interactive. However, each interactive step requires an additional fee, such as feeding giraffes, capybaras, and seals. You can buy apples, bananas, carrots, and chicken necks in advance at the Jiajiayue Supermarket in parking lot 5. They're quite expensive there, but staff won't let you feed them, so you'll have to do it secretly. It's not recommended for the elderly, or to take the sightseeing bus the entire way, but you'll miss many animals. There's a hill to climb right after entering the zoo, and then another hill to climb, which requires a lot of stamina.
I visited the Shendiaoshan Zoo during the summer vacation. Parking and Transportation: Parking is quite convenient, with several large parking lots and free parking. Activities: While there are many activities available, the prices are reasonable. For example, feeding the animals costs about 20-30 yuan per portion, which is similar to other zoos. The magic carpet ride is also affordable and worth a try. Drinks and snacks are slightly more expensive than outside, but are typical for scenic spots. Tips: The entire route is one-way, and the amount of hiking and walking is quite intense, so be prepared if you're traveling with young children. Going there during the summer vacation meant I was often pushed around by the crowds, but overall the experience was quite good. There's a wide variety of animals here, and you can interact with many of them up close, like feeding giraffes and touching elephant trunks. The kids had a blast. Overall, while it can be crowded during the summer, it's still worth a visit if you want to get up close and personal with the animals.

Since we were traveling with elderly people, we opted to drive directly into the scenic area from the East Tianmen Gate at Chengshantou. The core attractions are the natural beauty of Tianjinduan and the Fu Culture Scenic Area, which boasts palaces and statues that reportedly cost hundreds of millions of yuan to build. Our route involved parking at the entrance of the Shihuang Temple and walking along the Tianya Plank Road along the coastal reefs all the way to Tianjinduan. The scenery was truly stunning. The driver then returned along the main road to the parking lot at Tianjinduan, where we picked up our group and continued on to the Fu Culture Scenic Area. The journey was approximately 2 kilometers, and the palaces and statues were quite spectacular, though not crowded.
I drove to Weihai and bought an 80-yuan bus ticket. I figured it would be more convenient to visit Tian'e End after visiting the other attractions by car. Walking along the coastal plank road from Dongtianmen, you'll enjoy breathtaking scenery, the Jelly Sea, and stunning reefs. The most stairs are near Tian'e End, with 165 steps in a row. From Tian'e End, I walked back to Dongtianmen via the inner road, which took about 15 minutes. The other attractions were man-made, which felt a bit low-key. Overall, the Tian'e End to Tian'e End walk was a fantastic experience. It's suitable for older people with good mobility. If you're driving and only plan to walk the coastal plank road, you can skip the 80-yuan bus ticket.

Weihai's Motianling Cableway boasts a reputation as Asia's longest cross-sea cableway. The northern route (Motianling section) offers the best views of the ocean, while the southern route (Chengshan section) offers mountain views. The Motianling Cableway is undoubtedly one of the most dazzling sights against the golden ocean in the early morning. It not only provides an excellent vantage point for sunrise viewing, but also offers panoramic views of the vast ocean and rolling mountains, capturing the beauty of nature.
The combination of blue sky, white clouds, and azure sea with the primary colors of the cable car is truly photogenic. I arrived at the cable car ticket office at 9:00 am on a summer Sunday, and the line was incredibly long. I chose to take the bus to the entrance for the lower section, where the line was shorter, but it still took an hour. The view from the cable car is truly stunning, though the reflection from the glass slightly detracts from the effect.

Coming back from Weihai Real feelings: Naxianghai must be visited‼ ️ It is so beautiful😭 Open area, no tickets required🎫 The beach here is fine and soft, it is super comfortable to walk on barefoot~ The sea water is clear and blue, sparkling under the sunshine, and every shot is a blockbuster📸
Naxianghai is the most representative beach in Rongcheng and also the one with the largest number of visitors. It has many advantages, such as long coastline, many attractions, accommodation, parking and beautiful night view in the scenic area. Almost all the scenic spots on the Rongcheng route are on this coastline, including Naxianghai-Jimingdao-Seaweed House-Brews-Xixiakou Zoo-Hailu Island-Motianling Cableway-Chengshantou Scenic Area.

This attraction has received mixed reviews, and I hesitated for a long time. Since I live nearby, I decided to go, and overall, it was okay. Transportation: The parking lot at the entrance is large and convenient. Tip: We bought tickets online, but they weren't valid. You have to book at least an hour in advance to get a discount. The ranch itself doesn't require much walking. You can visit the breeding area and exhibition area. Then, take a boat for a tour, enjoy the sea breeze, and watch the seagulls—just be careful about seasickness. The seafood is even prepared on site, but the hygiene and taste are not very good. It's just for fun. They sell dipping sauces, but they're not cheap. Recommendation: Overall, it's not worth the visit for adults, but it's a worthwhile stop for children.
It's generally ok to take the kids here, it takes about 2-3 hours to queue up, only oysters and scallops can be picked and steamed for free, the scallops are delicious, the oysters are not delicious!
