Fortress Hohensalzburg, perched high above Salzburg, is one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval castles. Its imposing walls, towers, and courtyards instantly transport you back in time. Accessible by funicular or a scenic walk, the fortress rewards visitors with breathtaking panoramic views of Salzburg and the surrounding Alps. Inside, you’ll find fascinating exhibits on medieval life, weaponry, and the history of the prince-archbishops who once ruled here. Highlights include the Golden Hall and intricate gothic details throughout the interiors. Whether for its history, architecture, or stunning vistas, Fortress Hohensalzburg is an unmissable gem and a true symbol of Salzburg’s rich heritage.
Salzburg is the hometown of the great composer Mozart and a famous Baroque ancient architecture resort in Austria. There are many churches in the city, which is very suitable for walking. The beautiful Salzach River divides Salzburg into the new city and the old city. The steeple churches and monasteries with unique characteristics and long history, the tree-lined gardens and fountains of various shapes make Salzburg particularly beautiful. There are also fascinating residential houses full of medieval characteristics, Mozart's birthplace, Mozart Conservatory, Mozart Square and Mozart Memorial Bronze Statue, etc. The beautiful scenery of the Alps and the colorful architectural art are integrated, making Salzburg known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This time we are going to visit Salzburg at night.

Go there for the beautiful garden outside with all the amazing sculptures. Need to know, a scene from the do-re-me song from the movie The sound of music was shot there. You also get an amazing view of Fortress Hohensalzburg. It says it's free to visit the palace but there's really only one staircase and a small room you can see and it's not marked out. I think it's mainly used for concerts. It's still worth a look especially the staircase with all the sculptures.
We have a pleasant time exploring the beautiful Mirabell Palace in Winter.

Salzburg, the second largest city in Austria, is a veritable city of music. It is the hometown of Mozart. We visited Mozart's ancient residence and the Sculpture Square. The children here often hold various music-related activities.
The old town of Salzburg is of moderate size and is perfect for walking tours. The city is dominated by white walls and green roofs, and the cooler tones are refreshing. There are many churches, squares, markets, and sculptures. I especially recommend the handmade chocolates here, which are wrapped in blue tinfoil and are very delicious.

Salzburg, Austria is the birthplace of Mozart. The Mozart family lived on the third floor of 9 Gertred Street in Salzburg from 1747 to 1773, and Mozart himself was born here on January 27, 1756. Mozart's father was a musician of the Salzburg Royal Chamber Music, and the most famous Mozart was his father's seventh child.
The state of Salzburg, located at the border between Austria and Germany, has its capital, Salzburg, which is more than just the capital of Mozart and the host of the festival. In the city's most important attractions, you can experience not only the city's glorious history, but also countless fascinating and surprising things. The Hohensalzburg Castle, the Mozart Museum, the Getreidegasse or the Hellbrunn Palace are the most popular attractions in Salzburg. The top 10 attractions give you a clear idea of this UNESCO World Heritage city...

Lake Hallstatt is the most spiritual tourist destination among the 14 lakes in the Salzkammergut region of Austria. Hallstatt has a warm climate and is suitable for tourism all year round. This lakeside town, standing between steep slopes and emerald lakes, is full of fairy-tale-like quiet and beautiful houses.
Hallstatt is known as the most beautiful town. It is located in the Hallstatt area of the Salzkammergut Lake District. In addition to the beautiful Hallstatt Lake, it also has ancient salt mines. It has been listed as a World Heritage Site, and its most beautiful postcard photos have been widely circulated.

I highly recommend this classic in the Austrian Lake District! The filming location of "The Sound of Music", snow-capped mountains, lakes, meadows and other natural landscapes are all in one place. The century-old train on Schafberg is a feature, and it can go to the top of the mountain in summer. But if you love hiking, it is more recommended to go on the hiking route, where you can enjoy the scenery of Austria that is not inferior to Switzerland! Of course, the only drawback is that the ticket price of the small 🚂 is a bit high
Austria's treasure classic. The scenery is very beautiful. The weather was bad at first, and I thought I couldn't go up the mountain. After waiting for a day, I finally welcomed the long-lost sunshine☀... Take a century-old steam train and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the three lakes on the top of Schafberg Mountain🌈

Mozart's birthplace, Mozart House, Mozart Cafe in Salzburg... Everything is Mozart. Haha. Just Mozart alone is enough to feed a city for a lifetime! Mozart's handwritten scores, clothes, etc. are on display in the birthplace and house, so you can meet Mozart from far and near.^^
In fact, the former residences of celebrities are no different from ordinary homes. It’s just that admirers hope to reinterpret a person in a vivid scene through hundreds of years of history. Mozart’s chocolate-filled chocolate is delicious.

No.1 of Water fun & Cool Retreats in Salzburg State

[Scenery] The lakes in Austria are all so beautiful. Green mountains and clear waters, no water entertainment, quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing vacation [Fun] There are several famous towns around, suitable for a short stay; the mountain train can reach Schafberg; there are bicycle paths and trails along the lake, both for cycling and hiking. I also encountered diving, which seemed to be a beginner's training [Value for money] Lake Wolfgang is a traditional holiday destination for locals, with complete facilities
Lake St. Wolfgang is located in the lake area of Salzkammergut, Austria. There are many lakes in the lake area. The most famous one is undoubtedly Hallstatt, and Lake St. Wolfgang is also one of the best. The emerald green lake water, the Schafberg beside the lake, the town of St. Wolfgang and the famous White Horse Hotel are all the highlights of Lake St. Wolfgang. You can swim and row in the lake. In addition, there are far fewer tourists than in Hallstatt. It feels very comfortable to vacation by the lake.

At first, I took a lot of pictures of even the nameless cathedral because it was cool, but later on, I didn't feel as inspired as I did the first time, lol. I respect the fact that it's still preserved!
Salzburg Cathedral in Austria is a 17th-century Baroque Roman Catholic cathedral. Founded in 774 by Saint Rupert on the remains of a Roman town, the cathedral was rebuilt in 1181 after a fire. In the 17th century, the cathedral was completely rebuilt in the Baroque style to its present appearance. Salzburg Cathedral is located in the center of Salzburg, at the foot of the Hohensalzburg hill.

In the old town of Salzburg, roughly parallel to the Salzach River, it is the busiest street in Salzburg, with restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and Mozart's birthplace is also on this street. This street is also famous for its large number of iron signs with different shapes. The globally unified McDonald's has different looks here. There are also many people wearing local costumes, which is considered unique.
This is the busiest shopping street in the old town of Salzburg. The street is not wide, and the antique houses on both sides are mostly shops, souvenir shops and restaurants. The unique iron signs are competing with each other, attracting tourists to take photos.
