Namsan Tower is worth a visit. I went up there once with my classmates 19 years ago, and 19 years later, I took my son back. Buying tickets through Ctrip is very convenient. There's a dedicated Ctrip counter on site, and the service is exceptional. They're fluent in Japanese and Chinese, and they always bow 90 degrees. Buying tickets through Ctrip is also convenient. Tickets are issued at a dedicated Ctrip counter, so you don't have to queue at other counters like tourists from other countries. Seoul Tower offers a panoramic view of Seoul, echoing the Lotte Tower to the south. It's best to visit in the evening, taking photos from before sunset to after sunset as the lights come on – a truly unique experience.
✨Seoul Tower: Explore this dazzling landmark at night and experience the charm of a romantic city! 🌃💕 Hello everyone! I'm your travel expert 👋🌟 Today, I'm recommending a must-see Seoul landmark—Seoul Tower! ✨ 🌈Why? Because Seoul Tower is not only a symbol of Seoul, but also a stunning observation deck, offering stunning views of the entire city at night! 📍Seoul Tower is located in Namsan Park in the heart of Seoul. Standing 150 meters tall, it's one of the highest points in Seoul. Climbing to the top, you can overlook the entire city at night and experience its bustling beauty. 🌸Beyond the observation deck, Seoul Tower offers many other worthwhile attractions. For example, Namsan Park, located at the base of the tower, is a great place to relax and unwind. Here, you can stroll, admire the flowers and plants, and enjoy delicious coffee and snacks at the park's café.

Myeongdong: Seoul's "cosmetic shopping arena"—worth the shopping spree, but be prepared! It's worth a visit, but temper your expectations for the natural beauty! This is Asia's premier shopping and food theme park, where the highlight isn't the scenery, but the sheer sensory assault and consumerism. For a taste of Seoul's modern pulse and pop culture, Myeongdong is an unavoidable landmark. Key Highlights: Beauty Mecca: Flagship beauty stores (like Olive Young and Innisfree) are everywhere, creating a museum-like atmosphere. Limited-edition sets and samples fill your shopping cart, with Chinese-speaking guides everywhere, and tax refunds are easy. Street Food Universe: Main Street transforms into a giant open-air eatery! The sweet and spicy aroma of tornado potato tarts, bursting strawberry daifuku, and spicy tteokbokki (rice cakes) captivates your senses. For just 50 yuan per person, you'll be eating until you're leaning against the wall (recommended for late afternoon dining). Fashion's Battleground: From fast-fashion stores like ZARA and SPAO to designer boutiques like ALAND and Stylenanda, new styles and discounts are everywhere. The underground mall boasts a treasure trove of Korean-style outfits priced at just under a hundred yuan. A Magical Clash Experience: Amidst the barrage of neon signs and K-Pop anthems, a century-old Catholic church stands quietly on a street corner—the shopping frenzy and a sacred place of faith are just across the street, creating a magical atmosphere! The Real Experience: The crowds rival those of the Spring Festival travel rush, and the nightlife truly shines when the neon lights come on! Bargaining? It's practically impossible (except at duty-free shops). However, the abundance of tax refund points and universal Alipay coverage make it a friendly experience. Away from the main streets during the day, hidden alleyways offer hidden gems of cafes and vintage shops. Conclusion: Myeongdong is the ultimate showcase of consumerism—loud, ostentatious, and addictive. Don't expect peace and quiet; come with an empty wallet and a 256GB stomach to immerse yourself in Seoul's magical trinity of shopping, eating, and photography!
The following is a review of Myeongdong: Advantages - Good shopping experience: This is a paradise for shoppers, bringing together many international brands, Korean local brands and various trendy brands, with a wide variety of goods, including clothing, shoes, cosmetics, accessories and other goods. There are large high-end shopping malls such as New World Department Store and Lotte Department Store, as well as comprehensive shopping centers such as Migliore, and many duty-free shops, with a wide variety of shopping options. - Rich food: you can taste a variety of delicacies, there are authentic Korean traditional dishes such as crab sauce, barbecue, stone pot bibimbap, etc., there are also special snacks such as fried chicken, fried rice cakes, fish cakes, etc., in addition to Western restaurants, fast food restaurants, coffee shops, etc., to meet the taste needs of different people. - Strong cultural atmosphere: Myeongdong Holy Church is the earliest Catholic Church in Korea, with a unique Gothic architectural style, with high historical and cultural value and artistic appreciation. There are also retro neighborhoods such as Tea Cave and Wuqiao Cave Food Culture Street in the surrounding area, full of cultural and artistic atmosphere. Convenient transportation: Located in the center of Seoul, Metro Line 4 Myeongdong Station is directly accessible, and you can directly enter the core area of Myeongdong from multiple exits. There are also many bus lines passing by, which makes it easy for tourists to go to other attractions in Seoul. - Perfect service facilities: most merchants employ Chinese-speaking waiters, and Chinese volunteers on the street, which is convenient for Chinese tourists to ask. There is a police station on Myeongdong Street. If you have any emergency situations such as loss of documents, you can directly ask the police. Banks and currency exchange shops are numerous, which is convenient for tourists to exchange money and handle financial business. Disadvantages - Crowded tourists: As one of Seoul's hottest tourist attractions, Myeongdong attracts a large number of tourists every day, especially during holidays and tourist seasons, the streets are crowded, and often need to queue up when shopping in shopping malls and restaurants, which will affect the experience of playing. - The quality of goods is uneven: some Myeongdong merchants have the phenomenon of selling fake goods, especially some low-priced goods and souvenirs, tourists need to have a certain ability to distinguish to avoid buying fake goods. - Higher prices: Since Myeongdong is a bustling commercial center and the higher rental costs have led to higher prices for some goods and catering relative to other regions, it may be necessary to spend cautiously for tourists with limited budgets.

Very entertaining and enjoyable performance. Even without an intermission, the 1.5hrs went by quickly as the show was fast paced and very energetic. Certainly with reserving a night out for this show.
It’s a super fun show. Funny performance for everyone. But the theatre is too small so the seats are very close for sitting.

Gyeongbokgung Palace: A 600-year-long heartbeat of a dynasty—a truly memorable experience! A must-see for history buffs and highly recommended for those seeking a cultural experience! As Korea's "Palace of the Forbidden City," Gyeongbokgung Palace's value goes far beyond its visual appeal—it serves as the epic starting point for the Joseon Dynasty and a spiritual landmark for understanding Korean culture. Those seeking glitz and glamour may be disappointed, but for those seeking to connect with the soul of the Joseon Dynasty, this is the place to be. Soul-stirring Highlights: Changing of the Guards Ceremony (A Must-See!): Performed daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM at Gwanghwamun, this living historical drama unfolds! To the roaring sound of drums, guards in traditional military uniforms march in formation, wielding halberds, their steps resonating as you journey back to 1395 (free and truly breathtaking). The Philosophical Code of the Complex: The painted double eaves of the Geunjeongjeon Palace embody the majesty of the monarch, the Gyeonghoe Floating Palace reflects the unity of nature and humanity, and the elegant blue tiles of the Jagyeongjeon Palace convey the Zen spirit of the harem—every beam and pillar holds within them a Confucian cosmology. Hidden healing corners: The picturesque lotus pond at Hyangwonjeong on the west side, where autumn maple leaves dye the palace walls red, is a delightful escape. The Bukwon National Folk Museum (free) uses everyday artifacts to depict the dynastic atmosphere, a warmer experience than the palace itself. A hanbok experience paradise: Clothing rental shops abound inside and outside the palace walls. With a hanbok and a bun (approximately 20,000-30,000 won), you can immerse yourself in a historical landscape without any barriers. Every photo of the blue-tiled stone pavement is a cinematic masterpiece (admission is free!). True Experience: Avoid the midday sun! Early morning or an hour before closing time is the least crowded, when the slanting light and shadows on the stone carvings of mythical beasts are most striking. Vegetation within the palace is sparse, so combine a half-day visit with the National Museum of Contemporary Art or Bukchon Hanok Village on the west side. Closed on Tuesdays! Conclusion: Gyeongbokgung Palace isn't just a "10-minute photo op" attraction. It requires you to slow down and feel the breath of a dynasty amid the drumbeat of the changing of the guards and the silence of the mottled shadows of the pillars. This heaviness and poetry that transcends time and space is truly a priceless treasure.
The palace was built in 1395 (Hongwu, Ming Taizu, 28 years), and has undergone many destruction and reconstruction. The palace is named after the word "Jingfu" in "Jingfu" in "Songs of Songs". The area and regulations of the palace are strictly followed by the patriarchal relationship with the patriarchal state of China. The county palace under the rule of the Prince was built according to the system of the Ming Dynasty palace. All buildings are distinguished from the yellow of the Chinese palace in the color of Danqing. 🪁 On the 50th anniversary of the Korean Guangfu Rehabilitation in 1995, the three governments of Jin Yong demolished the Japanese-occupied buildings on the grounds of restoring their traditional culture and "clearing the symbols of the Japanese rule period", and the original site began a large-scale restoration of the Gyeongboku Palace and its annex buildings. In August 2010, South Korea rebuilt the Guanghua Gate, which was originally called "de-Chineseization" and was restored to a traditional Chinese character plaque.

Lotte World Tower is absolutely worth a visit! The observation deck offers stunning panoramic views of Seoul—you can see the Han River, Namsan Tower, and the skyline all in one shot. The Sky Deck with the glass floor was a highlight and great for photos. The tower also has luxury shopping, great dining options, and a beautiful cinema. Everything was clean, modern, and well organized. A perfect stop whether you’re into sightseeing, shopping, or just relaxing with a view.
Great views over seoul and also next to the Olympic park. Highly recommend

🌿 Nami Island Review 🇰🇷Visiting Nami Island was absolutely wonderful! The scenery was stunning, and I took so many beautiful photos. Every corner of the island felt peaceful and magical. It was truly an amazing experience and definitely the best travel I’ve had in Korea so far. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!

Absolutely worth going! An amazing experience for ladies that every traveler to Seoul should book. I would definitely recommend booking vip or even vvip seats since that would allow you to have the best experience possible.
It was my first time seeing this type of show, and I chose it based on the reviews. On Thursdays, I could actually take photos with my phone. I arrived early to reserve my seat and was lucky enough to get a seat right next to the actors, which gave me two opportunities to interact with them and get a close-up look at their chocolate 🤣. For a fee of 30,000 won, I assigned one actor to take four different looks. When you reserve your seat, the attendant will tell you which seats offer the best chance of close contact, so remember to arrive early to choose your seat!

Itaewon: A magical slice of Seoul's "Global Village"—a place worth exploring with a clear mind! It's worth a visit, but keep your cultural radar sharp! This isn't a traditional tourist attraction; it's Seoul's most potent cocktail of international culture. A mixed-race neighborhood, shaped by its history as a US military base, has now become a micro-experimental laboratory for globalization. The highlight lies in experiencing the ambiance of being "inside Korea yet not in Korea" and its inclusiveness, perfect for adventurous seekers and nocturnal enthusiasts. Highlights: A World Gastronomical Destination: Within a hundred meters, you'll find everything from Middle Eastern kebabs and authentic Mexican Day of the Dead-themed bars to kosher cafes and Nepalese curry houses—a truly UN-level food court, its authentic flavors surpass those of the touristy areas (recommend the chili salt-rimmed tequila at Haunted Tequila Bar). Designer Alley Treasure Hunt: Hidden behind the main streets are cutting-edge boutiques (like Beaker), museum-like vintage furniture shops, and independent designer studios. These are both pricey and aesthetically pleasing, making this the most trendy neighborhood in Seoul. A magical streetscape of religious symbiosis: the golden domes of mosques and the soaring eaves of Buddhist temples frame each other, and a few steps further, you'll stumble upon a bar flying rainbow flags—a place where diverse faiths coexist peacefully, creating a visually stunning experience. A vibrant universe where the night spirit awakens: After dark, neon lights illuminate like blood vessels, rooftop bars (especially those on the Grand Hyatt) offer breathtaking views of the Han River, and underground clubs hum with the thrum of techno (be sure to avoid weekend crowds). The real experience: Climb the ramps until you question your life! Weekend nights are as crowded as Myeongdong, but with a more diverse cast. Following the 2022 incident, safety measures have been tightened, so avoid major holidays like Halloween and opt for weekday dinner hours for a more comfortable stay. Some alleyways still feature mourning flowers, so please remain respectful. Conclusion: Itaewon is Seoul's "cultural wound and medal." Through the aroma of barbecue, electronic music, and neon lights, it tells a story of war, immigration, and rebirth. Come here with awe of complexity - sip a glass of exotic wine, overlooking the sleepless Han River, and you will understand the hidden ambitions and pains of Seoul.
If you know Itaewon, you will know it. It is only one kilometer away from the US military base, so it is famous for nightclubs. There is basically no one during the day and all shops are closed. Only at night, so if you want to go sightseeing and see the scenery, this place is not suitable. Especially on weekends... Various bars. Many bars start to be crowded around 10 o'clock. So you don't have to go too early, you can find a place to have a drink first. Most of the bars are behind the Hilton Hotel. There are also many address books in the bars. Generally, I will go to 3 bars in one night. Different bars have different music styles and are very cost-effective. There are also many bars with special preferences, such as old people's CD, etc. In short, I wish you all a good time.
