Great place to visit. Check the time of the shows before you make plans
Overall, the fun was ok, the killer whale show was quite shocking, the boys liked Ultraman very much, and stayed there for a long time. Some projects had to wait in line for a long time, which was too much to handle, so I didn't get to experience them.

While I'm not particularly interested in Egyptian history, it's still a great place to learn more. Some of the sculptures are truly exquisite, and I can't help but wonder how they were created back then. I highly recommend this if you want to see the world without leaving the country.
If you can't make it to Egypt, why not visit the Shanghai Museum's Egypt exhibition? After a six-month period of intense interest, tickets are noticeably easier to get in the new year. This exhibition is incredibly rich in artifacts, some of which you might not even see at the Egyptian Museum. Combining the exhibition with Egyptian knowledge broadens your horizons and truly achieves your goal of traveling thousands of miles.

Shanghai Wild Animal Park is home to tens of thousands of diverse animals from around the world. The park is divided into different areas, including a drive-through area and a water-based area. From elephants, lions, and giraffes from Africa to kangaroos from Australia and even our national treasure, the giant panda, there are a variety of animals, some ferocious and some adorable. The zoo is a truly enriching and engaging experience.
The park is huge, and we initially thought that the enclosures were too small for the animals. But after taking the bus through the open area we were impressed with the amount of open space the animals had. Besides that the park offers all you come to expect from Chinese tourist spots, plenty of food and gift buying options, lots of different experiences and an overall good time.

What planetarium closes at 4 PM?! It's really freaking me out! We came all the way from Shandong and didn't even notice it closed. We only saw that they didn't let us in after 3 PM. Seriously, we arrived at 2:60 PM! The kind ticket checker told us to hurry up and see the exhibit, as it closed at 4 PM! Ugh! I was devastated! Ctrip package deals eliminate the line.
This planetarium is very good, very interesting and informative. My children said they learned a lot. The architecture and environment are very well designed. However, it was too crowded.

The world's only China exhibition area: This distinguishes the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium from other aquariums. It specifically showcases the aquatic life and ecology of the Yangtze River Basin, featuring nationally protected species such as the Chinese sturgeon, the Yangtze alligator, and the giant salamander, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of China's native aquatic biodiversity. The world's longest underwater sightseeing tunnel: At 155 meters long, it offers visitors a panoramic view of the underwater world. Sharks, turtles, and other marine life swim overhead and around them, creating a truly immersive experience. A rich and diverse collection of exhibits: The aquarium features over 450 species and over 15,000 fish, representing a diverse range of rare and endangered fish species from five continents and four oceans, including electric eels and arapaima from South America and freshwater sawfish and archerfish from Australia. Visitors can experience the fascinating marine life of different oceans from a single perspective. Interactive Experiences: The museum features a touch pool where visitors can touch starfish, sea urchins, and other marine life to experience their textures. There are also feeding demonstrations where divers feed sharks and fish, creating a breathtaking scene of competition for food. A free treasure hunt map (limited daily) is available at the entrance, allowing visitors to participate in the game, adding to the fun and exploration. Dreamlike Jellyfish Display: The museum's jellyfish area showcases a variety of jellyfish of varying shapes and colors. The shimmering light and shadow create a dreamlike illusion, and the Jellyfish Dream Wall is a popular photo spot, creating stunning silhouettes.
The Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is one of the world's largest man-made saltwater aquariums. Buy your tickets online in advance for ultimate convenience. Nine themed exhibition areas showcase aquatic life from five continents and four oceans, making this truly an unforgettable "ocean journey"!

I personally think it's worth going. The speed of the elevator made me feel tinnitus. Standing on the 118th floor and looking down, the cars are so small, and the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River is so beautiful.
The view from the highest point is worthwhile, overlooking the Huangpu River. However, you can only take photos of the scenery; photos of people and the scenery together are not very good. My mother said the view is best seen with her own eyes. The elevator's ascent and descent were so rapid that I even experienced tinnitus.

I had a blast on this cruise. I recommend taking the night cruise after 7pm so you can see the city lights - it's absolutely amazing! Note, if you want to have a comfortable cruise while seated and without crowds, you can pay an extra ¥100pp (AU$21) on board (just scan your Alipay/Weixinpay QR code) to get VIP access on the roof top with seats, a snack and a drink - I did this and had a relaxed and peaceful ride.
The Huangpu River in Shanghai offers beautiful scenery and dazzling lights, showcasing the charm of Shanghai's metropolis. Shanghai, the Pearl of the Orient, continues to forge ahead! For your first visit to Shanghai, a visit to the Bund to see the Oriental Pearl Tower and take a night tour is a must!

This is absolutely the best cultural feast I've ever experienced in Shanghai. A single performance showcases a thousand years of Shanghai history, and the action is incredibly high-energy. Absolutely worth the price of admission! 🎭 "Shanghai Eternal Love" Main Show - Visual and Soul-Stirring The one-hour show felt like a journey through a thousand years. From the serene waterside scenes of "Shanghai Jiangnan" to the turbulent gatherings of "The Bund," the dazzling brilliance of "Modern Years," and the thrilling energy of "Awakening Age," every scene was breathtaking. The stage effects were truly top-notch: 3,000 tons of Huangpu River water flowed across the stage, oil-paper umbrellas rained from the sky, and even buses drove onto the stage! The theater alternated between rain and a sea—the immersive experience was truly incredible. As a Shanghainese, it was thrilling; even my non-local friends who were there remarked that they had truly grasped the spirit of Shanghai. 🎡 The park is fun and photogenic, with a truly immersive experience. Cross-City Street & Future Block: Switch time and space in a second! On Crossing Street, encounter beautiful women in cheongsams and listen to the tinkling of rickshaw bells, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Turning to the Future District, the melodies of Machina and cyberpunk are both cool and off-kilter. This interweaving of time and space is truly ingenious. Rooftop Cliff Theater: A must-visit in the evening! Feel the breeze from the Huangpu River, listen to the melodies of "Shanghai Bund," and watch the river rush beneath your feet—the atmosphere is simply captivating. Interactive experiences abound: Watch "Earthquake," where the audience is invited to participate in a live performance, and your seats vibrate; experience "Orianna," a simulated shipwreck with incredibly realistic backflowing water; and play the naked-eye 3D dinosaur world in "Illusion Space" until the kids don't want to leave. 🌊 Summer Carnival, Limited Summer Fun We caught up with the summer activities! Rooftop concerts, Venice-themed carnivals, punk splashing parties... and even a large-scale Guozhuang dance and water splashing festival in the evening. Everyone had a blast with water guns and basins—it was a blast in the summer! 💡 Tips Address: 1750 Shibo Avenue, Pudong New Area, just a few minutes' walk from Exit 1 of Shibo Avenue Station on Metro Line 13. Extremely convenient transportation. Ticketing and Access: We recommend purchasing tickets in advance for a one-ticket getaway. After entering the park, be sure to check the day's program on the park's mini-app to plan your time accordingly, otherwise you might miss out on exciting performances. Suitable for: Families with children (for the children's playground and various shows), couples and friends (for photos and interactive experiences), and seniors (for reconnecting with the city). The attraction is mostly indoors, so you can enjoy it even in the summer. In short, Shanghai Eternal Love is far more than just a performance; it's a cultural landmark where you can truly immerse yourself and feel the pulse of the city. Whether you're looking to delve deeper into Shanghainese culture or simply want to relax and unwind for a day, this is the perfect place! 135
The performances in the scenic area are really great, and the stage effects are great. I pay tribute to the actors. Today I also found a detail that touched me. When watching the performance of "A Thousand Years of Love", because my seat was next to the aisle, I was ready when I came in. Some tourists came late, and the lights in the theater went out when the performance started. The staff took flashlights and shone them on the ground, following the footsteps of the tourists until they were seated. That beam of light really shone into my heart, which was so warm. I like the staff of "A Thousand Years of Love" 👍

The food is filling, and there are free bread and drinks. If you want to sit in the best seat, you have to go to the restaurant early to get a number. We went up at around 4 o'clock but didn't know we had to get a number first, so we didn't get the best seat for dinner, which was a bit of a pity.
Overall it’s fine but you can go there around 8:30pm and it’s less crowded
