A cruise on the Li River in Guilin is worth a visit. Enjoy the scenery along the Li River from a cruise ship. The gentle breeze between the mountains and rivers, the bright sunshine, the fleet of cruise ships, and the bamboo rafts under the sun umbrellas form a beautiful and moving picture on the Li River... Guilin's landscape is the best in the world.
excellent cruise. they have snacks whose quality could be improved.

Guilin's Elephant Trunk Hill: Nature's ultimate comedian! From a distance: It looks like a giant elephant bent over, guzzling the Li River's water—tons, tons, tons. It's been drinking for two thousand years and still hasn't had enough! Is this elephant made of water? Up close: From the front: The large natural hole in the center of the hill—the Water Moon Cave—looks like it was pierced through by an elephant's trunk. Standing inside in the cave in the summer is so cool you'll want to move in and sleep on your own! From the side: The rock texture mimics the wrinkles of an elephant's skin, even resembling "elephant legs" and a "tail." Magical moment: At high tide, the Li River water flows back into the cave, and the elephant's trunk actually sprays water! Tourist: Why did you say the statue had special effects? ˏ₍•ɞ•₎ˎ
It is very convenient to take the bus from Guilin North Station to the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. Visitors over 60 years old can enter the park directly with their ID cards, which saves the trouble of elderly people not being able to make reservations on their mobile phones. It is worthy of praise. The scenic area has good service, good environment, and beautiful scenery. I will come again if I have the chance.

This is a theme park perfect for children. ⚠️ Parking is in the underground parking lot 300 meters away from Window of the World. 1. In the summer, be sure to wear sunscreen and bring plenty of food and water. 2. Must-try attractions include the Ferris wheel, the "Go Forward" ride, the "Pendulum Ride," and the roller coaster. 3. Some food stalls sell food, but they're quite expensive.
It's worth a visit. It's recommended to go at night because the sun is too strong during the day. However, the children had a lot of fun. The wild people of Malan Mountain had water splashing interactions, and they were still happy even if they got wet... The layout of the venue is a bit scattered, the signs are clear, and the waiting time for some projects is a bit long. It is recommended to inform tourists of the approximate waiting time and whether each project is open should also be clearly informed

The only free children's activity is the slide. Everything else is charged, including grass skiing, boating, and feeding the deer. If you want to try these activities, buy a children's package for a discount. The rest are fitness activities, and the journey is all uphill and downhill. If you're not physically fit, you'll have to ride horses.
The first thing that catches your eye upon entering the scenic area is the Hobbit's hut. It's a great place for photos and check-in, but it's also quite crowded. Then we walked around the lake. The grassland is particularly steep, not flat, and the hike to the highest point, 1314, is quite strenuous. If you prefer not to walk, you can ride a horse for 150 yuan. There was a comic festival recently, all about pumpkins, and golden pumpkins were placed along the path, making for great photos and check-in. Avoid going during thunderstorms. The weather on the mountain suddenly changed. At first, it was overcast and not very hot without the sun, but the breeze was quite cool. Soon, it started to drizzle, and within three minutes, it became a heavy downpour, forcing us to rush through the trip. It was easy to slip and fall on the grass in the rain. Most of the attractions are under maintenance, so the only activities currently open are grass skiing and feeding the sika deer. Both are optional. If you want to enjoy the grassland activities, you might consider buying a package ticket for a better deal. There is a restaurant, but prices are a bit high; a bottle of Pocari Sweat is 8 yuan. Overall, it's a good place for photos and check-in, and I think a one-time visit is enough. The distance is too long. I drove here by myself and took a very narrow and bad road. The navigation signal was not very good, so it was easy to get lost. The best route to Chenzhou is to take Provincial Highway 212. The road up the mountain also has many bends and turns. It was raining and foggy, so you must drive carefully.

I came to Guangxi and visited 3 cities, Nanning, Guilin, and Yangshuo. The most recommended places are Longji Rice Terraces and Ping'an Village. The recommended month is September, which is the off-season. The price is affordable, there is a direct bus to the scenic area, which is convenient and all green.
Because it was raining, I only went to Ping'anzhuang. The terraced rice in the rain had a different kind of beauty. 👍 We had the local specialty bamboo rice, which became more fragrant the more we chewed it. The owner also gave us some freshly picked passion fruit, which was sweet with a hint of tartness. Delicious! 🤤

Before my trip, I researched various travel guides online and saw the photos of the Tongren Grand Canyon were so stunning that I decided it was a must-see. Once I saw it in person, it was far more beautiful than the photos. My phone simply couldn't capture the beauty of the Tongren Grand Canyon. You have to be there in person to experience it.
Didn’t know how to come there with public transport, so I used DiDi. Very simple. The place is gorgeous to see, I recommend you to go and also take the cruise.

Book online in advance and enter directly by swiping your ID card, which is very convenient. This trip focuses on a leisurely vacation and not rushing to visit attractions, so I didn't enter the site early and missed the foggy Xiaodong River and the fisherman casting his net. It's a little regretful, but I will come again next time.
The scenery is beautiful, with fog covering the Xiaodongjiang River, a paradise on earth. If you have time, you must walk there. Staying at the Yishang Hotel at the entrance of the Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area is perfect. It is only a few minutes' walk away, so you can sleep a little longer.

It was neat, but not for more than a couple of hours. It's primarily a tourist trap. Still enjoyable, but I got a little bored after eating. (Note: I didn't stay to see the town lit up at night, and I wasn't staying at a hotel there). The town is super easy to get to from Zhangjiajie. Just take the train one stop and then grab a Didi. If you're a foreigner and you bought your ticket online through Trip.com, YOU HAVE TO GO PICKUP A PAPER TICKET. I expected to scan my passport just like at Zhangjiajie and Tianmen National parks, or even the train station. However, here you have to go to the building to the left of the entrance and pickup the paper ticket. For the shopping, everyone was selling the same things so I didn't find anything that I wanted. I found much better souvenirs up in the Zhangjiajie National Park (lots of vendors around the Avatar Mountain area - just remember to haggle aggressively.) Overall it was enjoyable, but I also got bored quickly.
I highly recommend visiting this city. The scenery is spectacular, centered around a beautiful waterfall, and the narrow streets are magically illuminated at night. The streets are lined with charming shops selling local crafts and candies. My only caveat is the dining; while many restaurants boast stunning views, we found the food to be overpriced and not so tasty.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon was such a fun experience! The zip line and mountain slider were awesome—super fun and a great way to enjoy the views. The scenery through the canyon is absolutely beautiful, with waterfalls and greenery everywhere. Of course, the glass bridge is a must-see—it's an impressive structure and offers incredible views from above. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
Zhangjiajie Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain, and Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon are all excellent natural landscapes. Amidst the jungle and mountains, you can feel your own insignificance and the grandeur of nature.
