Universal Studios really didn't disappoint. The big projects were all very fun. Harry Potter, Jurassic World, Minions, Transformers, and all the theme parks were awesome. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was a close-up experience of the magical world. It was like riding a flying broom with Harry. The Minions were super cute. The Decepticon roller coaster 🎢 I missed it because I was sick. I must go and experience it next time.
Both husband and I feel this is the most fun part of our Beijing Trip. The park is huge, bigger than USS and USJ, but the staff are not as friendly I feel. The shows are great, especially the untrainable.

The Palace Museum, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, is one of the largest and best-preserved extant ancient wooden structures in the world. It is not only a landmark of Beijing but also a vital symbol of Chinese civilization. The magnificent Forbidden City complex, symmetrically arranged along a central axis, is divided into the Outer Court and the Inner Court. The Outer Court, centered around the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony, and the Hall of Preserving Harmony (the front three halls), was where the emperor held ceremonies and held court meetings. The Inner Court, centered around the Palace of Heavenly Purity, the Hall of Union and Peace, the Palace of Earthly Tranquility (the rear three palaces), and the six east and west palaces, served as the living quarters for the emperor and his concubines. The magnificent red walls, yellow tiles, and golden splendor of the architecture embody the grandeur of imperial power and represent the pinnacle of ancient Chinese official architecture. 🖼 Extensive Collections and Exhibitions The Palace Museum houses over 1.8 million precious cultural relics, encompassing calligraphy and painting, ceramics, jades, bronzes, clocks, and watches, among other categories. In addition to the regular palace tours, the Treasure Hall and the Clock and Watch Hall are highly acclaimed for their breathtakingly exquisite exhibits. The Ceramics Hall in the Hall of Martial Valor also frequently hosts fascinating exhibitions. 📸 Enchanting Scenery and Experiences The Forbidden City offers unique beauty in every season. From spring blossoms and autumn moons to summer rains and winter snows, the red walls and golden tiles complement the natural scenery, creating a perfect backdrop for photo opportunities. In the Forbidden City, you can not only experience the richness of history but also appreciate the exquisite charm of Chinese aesthetics. Climbing to the Wanchun Pavilion on Jingshan Hill for a panoramic view of the Forbidden City is a must-see for many visitors. ⚠️ Tour Tips Book in Advance: The Forbidden City requires real-name reservations. Tickets must be reserved in advance through official channels (the official website or WeChat official account). Tickets are not sold on-site. Plan Your Route: The Forbidden City is vast, so it is recommended to plan your itinerary in advance or refer to official recommended itineraries (such as the Central Axis Classic Tour and the In-Depth Tour of the Six Palaces). Comfortable Travel: Comfortable shoes are essential, as you'll be walking for extended periods. Also, wear sunscreen or rain protection, depending on the weather. Cultural Experience: For a more in-depth experience, rent an audio guide or hire a professional guide to hear the stories behind the artifacts and architecture. Be courteous: Please respect the artifacts, refrain from touching or climbing on them, and maintain a quiet and orderly visit environment. 💎 Summary The Forbidden City is a cultural treasure trove worth savoring time and again. Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply seeking to immerse yourself in the charm of Chinese culture, this place offers a profound experience. With its unparalleled historical, artistic, and architectural value, it is undoubtedly one of Beijing's and China's most important cultural landmarks. We hope this information will help you better plan your visit to the Forbidden City.
The forbidden city is super huge and amazing. Lots of people but the queue system is quite good. Stunning view of palace and garden.

Badaling, located in Beijing's Yanqing District, is the best-preserved section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Since ancient times, it has been a strategic point known as the "key to the northern gate." Constructed of granite stone slabs, its walls stretch for 23 kilometers, rising over eight meters and capable of supporting five horses galloping side by side. Its elaborate defensive system of watchtowers, battlements, and urn walls, forming a majestic dragon-like structure amidst the mountain ridges, has earned it the nickname "Nine Fortresses of the World." Nearly five kilometers of the section is currently open to the public, housing facilities such as the Great Wall Museum and the introduction of technologies like drone delivery to enhance services. It has become a landmark for Chinese and international visitors to experience the grandeur of Chinese history.
We finally made it to the magnificent Badaling Great Wall. Seniors over 60 are free, but they need to exchange their tickets at the window and then queue up to enter. The shuttle bus is also free. This ticket is a great deal.

We visited on September 3rd, thinking it was off-season, but it was incredibly crowded. Some of the caves were a bit crowded, and we couldn't visit several, which was a shame. It's truly beautiful, though, and the area is quite large. There's also a museum, but I skipped it. The audio guide cost 29r, which was more than enough for an amateur to just take in the excitement and then leave. Well worth a visit.
The charm of the grottoes lies in their diverse forms and grandeur, which makes people marvel at the superb carving skills of the ancients. In the grottoes, you can admire a variety of stone carvings, murals and buildings, and appreciate the charm of ancient art.

The "Fu" character stele | Calligraphy by Emperor Kangxi: "The Greatest Fortune Under Heaven" (hidden in Miyun Cave; queue 10 minutes to touch the character; remember to circle it three times clockwise) The Back Building | The 99.5-room "Treasure House." The brick carvings on the back conceal bat and copper coin motifs, symbolizing "blessings are within reach."
I've been to Beijing several times and never visited Prince Gong's Mansion. This time, I made a point to spend half a day there. I didn't hire a tour guide because I could just hop on the tour! 🙃 There were so many live streamers. They were all very good and detailed. It was fun to just hop on the tour and listen!

On a summer evening, head to the Temple of Heaven. It boasts more than just the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall, but also ancient trees and shady trails. Birds can stroll through the grass, and squirrels happily forage for food. It's a pure, healing energy. The red walls near the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests are a uniquely Beijing red. Surrounded by ancient trees dating back three to five hundred years, simply walking among them feels like visiting an ancient site. Mighty trees offer a shady umbrella, and relaxing on a bench beneath them, feeling the surging greenery and the setting sun, is a truly relaxing experience.
The Temple of Heaven is much larger than I imagined. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is truly majestic and spectacular. You can't truly appreciate it without experiencing it firsthand. I highly recommend going if you haven't been!

The core attraction of Baotu Spring is its three main springs, which gush year-round, with crystal-clear water visible through the bottom, day and night. The park blends the exquisiteness of Jiangnan courtyards with the grandeur of northern gardens, boasting historical buildings such as the Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall and Luoyuan Hall. Stone inscriptions and couplets can be found throughout the park, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. The crystal-clear water reveals the bottom, and koi carp frolicking in the pools, juxtaposed against the emerald green algae, creating the scene of "hundreds of fish in the pond, all swimming as if without support," creating a photogenic atmosphere.
Travel during off-peak hours. The scenic area is a few degrees cooler than outside. The overall scenery is nice. The koi, regardless of size, are very fat and look like big and small balls, which are very cute. The ticket price is still a bit expensive compared to the scenery, and parking around is also a bit expensive.

A perfect score! I highly recommend Guide Li's professionalism and dedication. The most fortunate thing about this trip was meeting a "treasure guide" like Guide Li. Not only was he thoroughly familiar with the historical allusions and cultural stories of the attractions along the way, his explanations were vivid and insightful, like he'd broken down a thick history book into vivid miniature stories that captivated even the children. He also paid exceptional attention to detail, checking the weather in advance to remind guests to add or remove clothing, offering to help elderly people with their luggage, and meticulously recommending local specialties during meals without ever resorting to salesmanship. There was no hint of pretense throughout the entire trip. The itinerary was perfectly planned, ensuring we didn't miss out on the most scenic spots while leaving ample time for photos and exploring the surroundings. There was no sense of rushing around. Guide Li responded quickly and handled any unexpected situations appropriately, making the entire trip a safe and comfortable one. I highly recommend this professional, responsible, and caring guide to anyone traveling!
1. Yalong Bay is known as the "No. 1 Bay in the World". Its waters are as blue as gems, the sand is as fine as silver, and it is surrounded by coconut trees. It has a perfect holiday atmosphere and is the best choice for a coastal vacation in Sanya.

The Jin Temple is very large and has a beautiful environment. There are many ancient buildings and ancient trees, many of which are more than a thousand years old. There are mountains, water, scenery and many allusions. It is worth a visit.
The Jinci Museum is about 700 meters from Jinci Park, and you can also take a paid electric car. It's a historical work worth seeing. Some areas are under maintenance and closed to the public, so it seems unreasonable to still charge the original ticket price.

If you like to stroll around slowly, you can go there without worry. The ancient city is very large and has many historical sites. I stayed there for two days and didn't visit some of the attractions with my pass, so I only visited the important ones. It is very suitable for slow travel. Make a plan in advance and watch documentaries about the ancient city online. You will have a very interesting visit.
It's worth a visit, but it's not as impressive as advertised. Each small attraction has a guided tour, ranging from 20 to 30 yuan, and the quality varies. Sightseeing buses are available within the ancient city, priced at 10 yuan per person. You can also charter a bus to visit all the attractions. Personally, I think it's better to take a bus when you need it. Chartered bus drivers, pressed for time, briefly explain some attractions at the entrance, making it seem like they're not worth visiting. The food at the two famous old restaurants in the ancient city is delicious and affordable, and the vinegar is also impressively delicious.
