Mainly for taking photos, there are many foreign tourists because Chibi Maruko is so famous. There are performances and meet-and-greet events for Chibi Maruko every day. It is best to check the time of the performances on the official website before going there. Overall it is very good.
I didn't plan to come here when I first went to Shizuoka. When I was passing Shimizu on my way back to Shizuoka Station from Fujinomiya, I went down to see this park. I took the Tokaido Main Line from Fuji to Shimizu Station. I think I went down from the west exit. There was a picture of Chibi Maruko Park. After exiting the station, there was a free bus to the shopping district where Chibi Maruko Park is located in the parking lot next to it. The bus seemed to be called S-plaza. We didn't know it at first. We took a taxi from Shimizu Station and spent 930 yuan. In fact, you can take a free bus, which runs every 15 minutes. There is Chibi Maruko Park on the third floor of this shopping district. It is easy to find. The scenery of this shopping district is beautiful, and there is a harbor and sailboats next to it. After coming here, I found that Chibi Maruko Park is the finishing touch of this trip. It is so unexpected. Recommended!
