It is really necessary to visit a museum and have a reliable guide. I took my son to a VIP private guide for two people. Although there was no microphone and there were quite a lot of people, it did not affect the experience at all. The lady was very attentive and prepared a lot of materials on her phone to accompany the explanation. It was very vivid.
Sanxingdui is definitely worth a visit. The reserved tickets and explanations were excellent. The bamboo beauty's explanation was very interesting. A more in-depth explanation is a must. Everyone was happy to attend, and it was a fascinating experience. The children kept up with the entire experience. My son loved it, too. 😍 Please make sure to check out the last photo. Today's itinerary was particularly meaningful. We followed Teacher Liu into Du Fu's Thatched Cottage and strolled through it. Every brick and tile was imbued with Du Fu's deep love for his country and family. Teacher Liu's explanations were excellent, lively, and engaging, allowing the children to follow along closely. We learned about the poet's turbulent life, from his early years filled with lofty ambitions to his middle age, when he experienced the An-Shi Rebellion and displacement. His poetry gradually shifted from expressing personal ambition to deeply descriptive portrayals of social realities and the suffering of ordinary people. Each poem truly captured that turbulent era. We felt as if we were immersed in the turbulent times of the Tang Dynasty, experiencing Du Fu's joys, sorrows, and anger. The simple wooden gate and the solemn and awe-inspiring Temple of the Ministry of Works were awe-inspiring. Here, we learned that Du Fu had been awarded the title of "Reviewer of the Ministry of Works." Huang Tingjian and Lu You are enshrined on either side of Du Fu's statue within the temple. All three of them were dedicated to the art of poetry, and their legacy lives on today. The most anticipated attraction is the thatched cottage area. This recreated thatched cottage, where Du Fu once lived, depicted the simple furnishings of a mansion where "there was no dry place by the bed, and the rain fell like hemp, but it never stopped." Du Fu's life was truly harrowing, yet despite this, he still managed to express his profound concern for the world by expressing his desire for a thousand mansions, "To shelter all the poor and the poor, and to bring them joy." This compassion for the world deeply moved the students. They gathered together, diligently filling out study guides and sharing their understanding of Du Fu's poetry, appreciating the poetry's charm and the poet's greatness through this exchange. Studying at Du Fu's Thatched Cottage not only allowed us to understand Du Fu's life and poetry, but also, through the interplay of history and present, to appreciate the profoundness of China's fine traditional culture.
It was much smaller than I thought. It rained heavily on the 16th and I got soaked and hid in a teahouse. The waiter didn't even let the children in and kept asking everyone to wait outside the door. It was very commercial and uncomfortable.

The giant pandas are superstars. Go early and clock out when it gets hot. There are many other animals. Transportation is very convenient. There is a light rail directly to the entrance. The East Second Gate is the main entrance and it is very close to the Giant Panda Pavilion.
There are giant pandas, elephants, tigers, peacocks, and many other large animal types, small animals, as well as aquariums and amusement parks. Anyway, it is worth taking the children to play.

The Jinsha Ruins Museum comprises a site hall, exhibition hall, and park. It also houses numerous ivory, gold, and bronze artifacts. It's truly worth a visit to experience the wonders and profoundness of Chinese culture.
Teacher Zhao who gave the lecture today was very professional. He is the most professional lecturer since I came to Chengdu. Teacher Zhao has a profound cultural background and extensive knowledge. He has received five-star praise and is highly recommended! Thank you for Teacher Zhao's lecture. I hope to listen to Teacher Zhao's lecture again when I come to Chengdu in the future.

If you go there after 12:30 in the afternoon, you can basically only see the pandas in the glass house. I climbed up the slope for half a day to see the wild red pandas but never saw any. In conclusion, you must go to the zoo early!!!
It was just okay. I got up around 6:00 AM to see the pandas. There weren't many people that morning, but there weren't many pandas either, especially in the Red Panda Ecological Park. I only saw one. I walked around for over an hour and was exhausted.

I went to Chengdu to experience Sichuan Opera. The overall feeling was average. The venue and costumes were a bit old. My favorite parts were the face-changing performances and the rubber band lighting. There was a very beautiful girl with dimples when she smiled.
It's on the second floor behind Wenshu Temple. The venue is very large and there are like 2 or 3 performance halls. The performance lasts about an hour and there are several good performances. The face-changing is also very good. The ticket price is very worthwhile.

Teacher Ren’s explanations are lively and interesting, which attracts children and adults alike. Teacher Ren is not only professional but also has his own ideas and insights. I recommend Teacher Ren for his professional explanations of Sichuan Museum and Chengdu Museum!
Well worth a visit. I also saw a special exhibition today, which was very rewarding. This museum probably has the most cultural and creative works in China. The exhibition halls dedicated to the Zeng and E states are quite unique.

Some areas (such as the glass bridge) offer thrilling perspectives, satisfying young people's curiosity. Rooms for Improvement: High Crowds: Weekends and holidays are crowded, and popular attractions require queues. High Dining Costs: Snacks in the park are relatively expensive, so it's recommended to bring your own snacks. Varied Experiences: Some rides (such as the non-powered park) are suitable for young children and may be boring for adults. Fourth Note: Flowering Season and Clothing: Choose your visit according to the season, wear comfortable sneakers, and avoid skirts.
Comments from comic book experts: He has a precise grasp of rhythm and consistently captures the soul of his characters with concise lines. He excels at extracting humor from everyday situations, and his storyboards are ingenious. He understands the tension of exaggerated humor while also conveying warmth with delicate touches, a master at bringing comic stories to life. Comments from Manhua Manor: The changing seasons create a scene: spring cherry blossoms resemble snow, summer lotuses reflect the sun, autumn chrysanthemums compete for beauty, and winter plum blossoms stand proudly. The trails wind through a sea of flowers, and the gentle breeze brings fragrance to your face. It's a soothing secret haven outside the bustling city, and every frame is like an overturned palette.

What else can you ask for a bike for 20 yuan?! The museum is huge! It took us almost an hour and a half to walk around and see everything. If we had asked for a guide, it would have taken even longer. There are free guides at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. during opening hours. The museum is rich in content and is perfect for parents and children to visit! Highly recommended!
Years after graduating, I returned to Chengdu and discovered the Chengdu Natural History Museum, right next to my alma mater (Chengdu University of Science and Technology), had finally opened! I immediately took my family on a "nostalgic + science tour"!
