Xiang Wang&#39;s Former Residence is where Xiang Yu was born and grew up. There are three courtyards of the existing ancient buildings.
The four characters &quot;Xiang Wang&#39;s Former Residence&quot; on the horizontal plaque of the mountain gate were written by Pu Jie, the brother of the last emperor. The horizontal plaque is black with gold characters and yellow edges.
There are couplets on both sides of the gate pillars. The upper couplet: The hegemony is gone, the ancient trees of Qin are strong, and the heroic spirit is a hundred feet high; the lower couplet: The king&#39;s name is recorded in the world, and the sacrifices are thousands of years. This couplet is a hidden couplet. The word &quot;hegemon&quot; is exclusive to Xiang Yu in Chinese history. The couplet was written by Wu Yingning, the former vice chairman of the Suqian CPPCC.
