Excellent, a superb experience! The whole process was fulfilling and smooth, definitely worth experiencing again. Great, worth doing again!
For family trips, the cable car is a good option, and there are several lines that offer different views. Aside from the long queues due to the crowds, it's a pretty good option overall.

It's worth a visit; every corner is a highlight, too many to list. Even the poet Li Bai couldn't fully capture its beauty, so what more can I say? But I am not the Yellow Crane; I will not depart and never return. I am a returning traveler riding a crane. I will come again. Farewell, until we meet again. Yellow Crane Tower, Wuhan, Hubei!
This trip with my husband and daughter wouldn't be complete without visiting this iconic landmark, so I went early in the morning. It wasn't too crowded since it was early; there were quite a few elderly people there because it's the Double Ninth Festival and admission is free. There's also a great spot for taking photos.

Winter Solstice Limited Edition: A 30,000-Step Walk Through Sanqingshan and Wangxian Valley! A Travelogue with Perfect Weather! The 32nd day of 2025 coincided with the Beginning of Winter, and we kicked off our winter escape plan with a trip to "see the fairy mountain after the rain"! At 7:43 AM sharp, we checked into the Jinsha Cableway. Clutching our 245 RMB adult and 185 RMB senior tickets, we braved the light rain and boarded the cable car, muttering, "Is this Beginning of Winter rain going to soak us to the bone?" But wait! The rain stopped abruptly as soon as we got off the cable car, and the clouds dispersed as if on rewind, revealing the unique peaks and rocks of Sanqingshan—the weather was so biased! It was like it cleared the way for us to enjoy the beautiful scenery! As a "triple crown" of National 5A, World Natural Heritage, and Geopark, Sanqingshan truly lives up to its reputation! The S-shaped granite formations from the Early Cretaceous are truly remarkable! The "Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain," a 128-meter-long rock formation piercing the sky, looks exactly like a giant python just awakened from its slumber, as if eager to show everyone it's the "world's tallest natural python peak." The "Eastern Goddess" formation is also a perfect recreation, its graceful and ethereal figure in a long dress almost enveloping you in fairy-like beauty. Today, I witnessed firsthand the so-called "four wonders": strange peaks and rocks, ancient trees and famous flowers, flowing springs and waterfalls, and seas of clouds and mist. Every step I took in the mountains was awe-inspiring: this isn't just a mountain, it's a top-tier sculpture exhibition by nature! The Taoist culture is also incredibly rich, with over 230 ancient architectural remains hidden in the mountains. The Sanqing Palace, with its Bagua layout, truly deserves the title of "open-air museum of ancient Chinese Taoist architecture." Wandering around, I felt like I was about to achieve immortality! Starting from the right side of Sanqing Mountain, I completed a central loop and descended the mountain promptly at 12:30. My legs were starting to tremble slightly, but my happiness was off the charts! After resting until 3:30, we rushed to Wangxian Valley. Tickets were 140 yuan each, less than the half-price for those over 60, highlighting the "spend money for happiness without feeling guilty" concept. To be honest, Wangxian Valley was rather unremarkable during the day, but the moment night fell and the lights came on, it was a complete eye-opener! The entire valley transformed into a dreamlike fairyland. The guesthouses on the cliffs, the lights on the boardwalks, and the towering Wangxian Pavilion—climbing up to overlook the panoramic view made me forget my leg pain and only leave me with awe. As a national 4A scenic area, Wangxian Valley holds countless surprises: the bottomless pothole wonders of the Three Pots, the cascading waterfalls of the Three Cascades, and the lifelike granite landscape of the Azure Dragon Playing with a Pearl; the Yang Mansion and Hu Clan Ancestral Hall in Yanpu Old Street, with their blue tiles, brick walls, and wooden mortise and tenon joints, and exquisite wood carvings and stone sculptures; and most amazingly, the suspended glass rooms and cliffside restaurant at Baihe Cliff—just looking at them is thrilling! Next time, I must stay overnight to experience "viewing the scenery suspended in mid-air"... And now for the highlight! My step count jumped over 30,000 today! On the first day of winter, while others were warming up with milk tea, we were hiking 25,000 li (not really) in Shangrao, Jiangxi. From the ethereal mist of Sanqing Mountain to the dazzling lights of Wangxian Valley, my legs felt like they weren't even mine anymore, but my heart was soaring with freedom!
I absolutely loved the design and facilities of this hotel! The decor is simple yet elegant, with great attention to detail. There's also a swimming pool and a rooftop terrace downstairs – perfect for taking photos. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation. Overall, the stay was excellent!

During this trip to Huangling, we stayed at a hotel on the mountain. There were dedicated passageways for going up and down the cable car, which was very convenient. Huangling is a very unique scenic area, boasting not only beautiful natural scenery but also ancient Hui-style architecture and residences in its villages, all carrying a rich history and significant cultural value. While enjoying the beautiful natural scenery, you can also feel the pulse of historical development. Overall, a positive experience.
The beautiful countryside of Huangling was stunning, especially in the rain. There's a direct Didi bus from Wuyuan Station to Huangling for 19 yuan per person, very convenient. Wuyuan is beautiful, and the people are incredibly kind. When we asked for directions at Xiangao Ancient Town, a driver drove us there for free. Thank you to this friendly stranger in Wuyuan! Wishing you and your family peace, joy, and all the best.

Got my ticket on Trip, and had to exchange for a physical ticket (they'll automatically assign a designated seat) at the Ticketing Office. Show is at 1945 hrs and one can enter from 1845 hrs. There's really no hurry to enter early since it's assigned seating. I was lucky to get a seat in Area 3, which is in the middle section, facing the Pavilion directly. At the start they had some audience engagement activities with giveaways and also sale of calligraphy artwork by 王刚亮, a famous calligrapher, who claims 王羲之 as his great-great-great-grand teacher. The actual performance brings the Pavilion's history to life, through projection, drama, dance and music including fire acrobatics, pyrotechnics and mobile sets. Glad that it's tiered seating for unblocked views. Overall it's an enjoyable 45 mins that I highly recommend.
The setting sun and a lone wild goose fly together; the autumn waters blend seamlessly with the vast sky. Although I didn't witness such a beautiful scene, I gained a deeper understanding of the meaning of "The mountains and passes are difficult to cross; who laments the lost traveler? We meet by chance, all strangers in a foreign land." Highly recommended.

Niushou Mountain is a feast for both the eyes and the soul. The Buddha Palace is architecturally stunning and exquisitely designed, and the natural scenery is also beautiful, making it a great place to experience both Buddhist culture and natural beauty.
It's a huge investment, but definitely worth visiting. It's spectacular and breathtaking, and easily accessible – just a 30-minute ride from Nanjing South Railway Station. There are many great spots for photos within the attraction, and a vegetarian buffet for the whole family is highly recommended.

It's a great place to escape the summer heat, and the prices for food and accommodation are quite reasonable at this time of year. As for meals, you can eat at the hotel, but you can also walk to town to eat, although that's a bit further. It's much, much cooler than down the mountain.
Although Lushan Mountain was crowded during the National Day Golden Week holiday, everything was well-organized. There were plenty of shuttle buses available, making it easy to get on and off at any time. The scenic area is vast with many attractions, so even during the Golden Week, it didn't feel crowded at all. Don't worry about the crowds.

This was my second visit to Hongcun. This time it was more commercialized, with a huge number of tourists. The scenery was still quite nice. Anhui has many ancient villages, so I suggest visiting just one. The entrance fee is quite expensive. Although it's a three-day pass, who can spend three days in one place? This unintentionally raises the ticket price. I suggest improvements! This is our suggestion as tourists: lower the ticket price. Why charge such a high entrance fee for an ancient village?
Before visiting Hongcun, I was already drawn in by its reputation as a "village in a painting," and after seeing it in person, I found it even more beautiful than I expected! Buying tickets on the official website a day in advance saved me 20 yuan, and for only 94 yuan, I could enter the park repeatedly for three days – an incredible value! I rushed into the scenic area at 6:30 am. There was no one vying for a good spot at the South Lake Bridge; the blue tiles and white walls were reflected on the calm lake surface. The ink-wash painting style from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" seemed to come alive. A quick wide-angle shot with my phone was met with comments on social media asking if it was AI-generated. At 4 pm, I waited at Moon Pond. The sunset gilded the white walls, and the water reflected a "double moon spectacle." After 40 minutes of waiting, I finally got the best spot – the final photos were well worth the wait! The wood carvings at Chengzhitang are a must-see. Shining a phone flashlight at an angle, you can clearly see the eyelashes of the children in the "Hundred Children Celebrating Spring" scene – truly deserving of its title as the "Folk Palace Museum" of Huizhou. For accommodation, I chose a guesthouse near the South Gate, just a few minutes' walk from the scenic area. The window offered a view of South Lake. The owners were incredibly welcoming, helping with my luggage and providing detailed explanations of the local customs and culture. They even made sure I arrived safely before I checked out. For food, I highly recommend the mildly spicy stinky mandarin fish at Deyuelou Restaurant. The skin is crispy, the flesh is shaped like garlic cloves – it smells pungent but tastes delicious! Also, try the fried hairy tofu sold by the old lady near the Wang Family Ancestral Hall, sprinkled with chili powder – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and incredibly flavorful. Avoid these pitfalls: The cobblestone paths are extremely uncomfortable on your feet, so definitely don't wear high heels; a bowl of beef noodles inside the scenic area costs 50 yuan, which is not worth it. The "Laozaotou" restaurant outside South Lake offers a much better deal at 38 yuan, including stinky mandarin fish and braised pork with dried bamboo shoots; the "Huangshan Maofeng" tea sold for 10 yuan for 3 packs by the roadside is mostly stale tea. Look for the Hongcun Post Office at the South Gate exit, where you can sample the 68 yuan can of pre-rain tea. Whether you're admiring the Hui-style architecture, taking stunning ink-wash style photos, or savoring authentic Hui cuisine, Hongcun is worth slowing down and savoring. I'm already missing the morning mist, the evening smoke, and the fresh aromas on my tongue. I'll definitely come back again!

Clutching our 245 yuan adult tickets and 185 yuan senior tickets, we braved the light rain and boarded the cable car, muttering to ourselves, "Is this rain on the start of winter going to soak us to the bone?" The Jinsha Cableway is clearly advertised online as a "top choice for senior citizen groups." During the off-season, the queue to the summit is one hour, and the queue to descend is half an hour. We encountered heavy fog and didn't see the expected beautiful scenery. This serves as a reminder to rest well and check the weather forecast before making any travel plans.

The round-trip bus ticket to Jiuhua Mountain is such a great deal! Only 50 yuan covers multiple round trips within and outside the scenic area, providing seamless connections from the high-speed rail station to the core scenic area. The bus is fully equipped with excellent air conditioning and comfortable seats. The driver's skills are superb, ensuring a smooth ride on the winding mountain roads. Frequent departures make it incredibly convenient for tourists and an essential choice for visiting Jiuhua Mountain!
This place gets quite crowded on weekends. A shuttle bus takes visitors to the mountain's main street. As one of the four major Buddhist holy sites, it boasts numerous temples and several national key cultural relics sites. The incense is very strong, making it worth a visit.
