The Hanyuan Forest of Steles is a hidden gem of culture, steeped in the fragrance of ink! Over 4,000 steles showcase ancient and modern calligraphy. The elegant gardens and stele corridors complement each other beautifully, and regular cultural events add to the vibrant atmosphere. A stroll through the area is filled with poetic charm, making it a must-see destination for experiencing the charm of Chinese calligraphy. It's also very close to the Qingming Shanghe Park, so it's a great place to visit.
Before I went there, I couldn't imagine how much fun it was. After I went there, I felt that I really couldn't leave. I spent a day unknowingly in one wonderful show after another and playing fun games. The food and beverage prices in the scenic area are very affordable. There are drink vending machines and free drinking water. I highly recommend young people to participate in the games, the elderly to feel the joy of their youth, the middle-aged people to experience the passion of their youth, and children to play freely. One ticket is very convenient for unlimited admission for three days. You just need to scan your face. I highly recommend everyone to go.

Teacher Wang Hui's explanations were fantastic. The two-hour visit allowed us to explore the museum's ten most treasured treasures and learn about 800 years of Chu history. It was definitely worth the trip. At Wang Hui's recommendation, we also listened to the chime bells, which was a truly unique experience.
Tour guide Xiao Jin's explanations were incredibly detailed and interactive, and the photos he took were beautiful too. A truly worthwhile experience! Highly recommended! Also, I was lucky enough to get a front-row seat for the chime performance!

This place is truly worth a visit. Spend a day immersing yourself in the pure, unspoiled culture of the Central Plains, encompassing stories from thousands of years ago, modern times, happening right next to you, and stories you've heard since childhood. The visuals are powerful and impactful, and each theater experience is unique each time you visit. The price may seem high, but it's truly worth it. Many of the plays are touching, and many leave you thinking. 🤔 You can spend a whole day there, and there are places to rest and eat. The area is well-established, and the service is excellent. It's also a great place for photos and check-ins. I wouldn't recommend bringing young children, but it's educationally valuable for those in elementary school. This place embodies youth, history, open-mindedness, impulse, passion, and regret...
It's a place you can spend a whole day in. Due to time constraints, we only bought a ticket for one big show. The rest were many small shows. The performances were all great, and the scenes were great, very suitable for taking pictures. It's still nice to walk around and watch the performances slowly.

There are some differences between evening and night tickets. Evening performances are better with the added lighting. Several performances are only held at night, which is more interesting than during the day, and you can interact with the performers. However, there are no e-bikes nearby, and parking is difficult to find. If you go at night, you'll need to either hail a taxi in advance or scan an e-bike and ride there, then lock it temporarily.
The first thing to do when arriving in Kaifeng is to visit Kaifeng Mansion to pay a visit to Mr. Bao. If you are driving, it is recommended to park your car at the hotel and take a taxi. The entrance of Kaifeng Mansion is too congested and difficult to park. It is full of tourist buses and elderly groups. Kaifeng Mansion is quite big and it takes more than two hours to walk around.

It was a very pleasant trip. The scenery was amazing. The tour guide Xiao He's service was particularly good. He communicated with us one day in advance. He was afraid that it would rain the next day. He didn't rest until after 11 o'clock in the evening. He reminded us to bring rain gear. Sure enough, we used it at noon the next day 😂. The itinerary was very good. The car going to the boat and returning to the boat avoided the high temperature and the crowds. Xiao He's explanation was also very good. We learned about the construction process of the Three Gorges Dam project in all aspects. The lunch box at noon was standard, and each person had one clean and hygienic. The afternoon boat tour was like walking through a landscape painting. The water level dropped when the boat was lowered at the Gezhouba No. 3 ship lock. We upgraded to the VIP on the fourth floor, where we could enjoy the air conditioning and take photos on the exclusive deck. It was an unforgettable trip.
My friends and I spontaneously decided to go to Yichang and were blown away by the "Two Dams and One Gorge" itinerary!!! The entire trip was packed with highlights, the photo ops were incredibly photogenic, and the cruise was so comfortable I didn't want to disembark! Sharing my real-life experience for those who want to go. ✨Trip Highlights: Gezhouba's "Rising Water": The cruise ship slowly entered the locks. After the gates closed, the water level rose, and the ship was "lifted" up like an elevator. It was breathtaking! Standing on the deck, I filmed videos with the giant locks and blue sky in the background—a truly technological experience! The stunning scenery of Xiling Gorge: As the cruise ship weaved through the canyon, the emerald waters and the cascading mountains on both sides felt like stepping into a landscape painting! I captured so many life-changing photos. Three Gorges Dam Panoramic Views: From Tanziling, we overlooked the dam. From Platform 185, we admired the magnificent "high gorge and flat lake." The diversion memorial park had a cool industrial feel. Three angles offered stunning photos with different styles. Photo Tips: Cruise ship deck: Lean against the railing and capture the river breeze blowing your hair – the atmosphere is incredible! Gezhouba Ship Locks: Record a time-lapse video of the rising water level. Xiling Gorge Entrance: With the gorge as your backdrop, use a wide-angle lens to capture the sense of depth, creating a feeling of "swimming in a painting." In short, a full day of fun isn't exhausting at all. Sit in a cruise ship booth, sip coffee, and take in the scenery while taking in photos – it's so comfortable and relaxing!

At the Chief's House, you can get up close to tigers, lions, and other beasts. During certain hours, you can even see an interactive scene where a brown bear "grazes" the bus for food. At the Grassland Adventure Base, amphibious vehicles can traverse the habitats of herbivores like giraffes and zebras, accompanied by a guide. The Lost River Valley offers freshwater fish and interactive pets like raccoons and alpacas, perfect for families. A wide variety of attractions are available. Animal Broadway's "Animal Stars" performances, such as Parrot Counting and Birds of Prey, are visually stunning and highly interactive. Float parades and nighttime fireworks shows create a joyful atmosphere, perfect for family photos.
The Zhengzhou Yinji Animal Kingdom experience exceeded my expectations! The park is exquisitely designed, with a blend of animal exhibits and interactive experiences, and the drive-through viewing area is quite unique. The diverse performances, including the white tiger behavioral demonstration and sea lion theater, are truly captivating. It's a family-friendly experience, with comprehensive facilities and excellent service. A special shoutout to our guide, Wang Xiaopei, for his insightful and humorous explanations. Everyone should definitely look for him when visiting! Highly recommended, this is a rare and excellent animal theme park in the Central Plains.

This scenic spot is highly recommended, featuring multiple live performances of various genres. Upon entering, there are two options: a cable car and an escalator, which are both energy-saving. It's recommended to allow ample time for the visit; a full day is quite relaxing and enjoyable.
The scenic area is small and a bit commercialized. The boat ride to and from the Three Gorges offers pleasant views. The elevators inside the scenic area are a rip-off, costing 30 yuan for three small elevators. The five elevators in the Three Gorges Dam are all free. The performance square was very crowded, so I only watched from the outside platform. Longjin Creek is a great place to play in the water, refreshing and cooling. Bring your own slippers if you want to play in the water; slippers inside are 30 yuan a pair.

The Luoyang Museum's exhibition of inscriptions and rubbings was a real surprise! I originally came for the Famen Temple special exhibition, but this exhibition was also excellent! There are rubbings of the Songshan Han Dynasty que and Han Dynasty stone reliefs. There are rubbings of bronze artifacts and inscriptions. There is a rubbing of the demonic mask from the Pingdingshan Museum. There are rubbings of the Three-Body Stone Sutra. There are rubbings of the rare Twenty-Five Fragments from Longmen! There is a rubbing of the famous Yang Dayan Stele from the Qiuchi Kingdom. There is a rubbing of the Gongyi Grottoes Temple, the only surviving rubbing in China of the Emperor and Empress Worshiping Buddha. There is a rubbing of Empress Wu Zetian's Ascension Prince Stele. There are rubbings of Wang Duo's calligraphy from Dayi Mountain. Among the many rubbings, there is one calligraphy piece that, while not large, is elegant, majestic, and imposing! It's a rubbing by Yan Zhenqing. You might not notice it when you look at a small copy or a photo, but when you look at the entire stele, Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy truly shines! If you like inscriptions on bronze and stone inscriptions and calligraphy, you really can't miss it!
This was probably the best museum experience I've ever had. The instructor was very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced in leading tours. He adapted to our preferences, focusing on key points before moving on to comprehensive coverage. The explanations were particularly lively, and the children thoroughly enjoyed them. They were very happy and engaged throughout the entire experience, and they remembered many of the stories even afterward. It was a truly rewarding experience, and I highly recommend it.

The Henan Museum's main exhibition halls comprise 12, arranged by historical dynasty. There are also two special exhibition halls showcasing Chu bronzes and Ming and Qing ceramics, and a stone carving hall dedicated to ancient stone carvings. For first-time visitors, I recommend dedicating a full day to the museum; it's definitely worth it.
Henan's history is half of China's history. Every artifact at the Henan Museum is a "historical storyteller": the Jiahu bone flute uses its seven holes to recount life 8,000 years ago, the Duling square tripod uses its taotie pattern to depict the majesty of the Shang Dynasty, and the cloud-patterned bronze ban uses the lost-wax method to convey the wisdom of the Spring and Autumn Period... They embed the Central Plains' past into Chinese narratives, bringing "half of history" to life in a tangible way.

I'd like to share the professional service and explanations. Although we only confirmed our itinerary for the next morning late at night, our dispatcher, Xiao Yang, immediately arranged it in the early morning hours. He was incredibly dedicated and responsible! Guide Fan's explanation that day was lively and engaging. He recounted historical figures and events one by one, covering everything from the historical background to the details of the characters in paintings like "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" and "Along the River During the Qingming Festival." We finally visited the Kaifeng Museum, and both children and adults gained valuable insights and learned about Kaifeng's rich heritage. Guide Fan was so professional and engaging, and we had several visitors sit in on the tour. Kudos to his first-rate explanations!!! It made our last stop in Kaifeng a truly memorable experience. Third grader commented: "Excellent, very detailed explanations." Second grader commented: "Excellent, very patient." Middle grader commented: "Excellent explanation, 100 points, 10,000 points."
Awesome building, stands out. Unusually, lots of descriptors written in English also which was helpful for me, nice museum and worth a visit.
