The electric carts are convenient, but when there aren't many people, it's perfectly fine to drive yourself. The scenic area should allow guests to drive in, and then use the scenic area car when there are more people.
The waterfall is very spectacular. You can enjoy the beauty of the waterfall from different angles in the scenic area. It is highly recommended. The scenic area also has preferential policies for tourists from Guangdong, Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces. The ticket price is only 19.9, so it is very cost-effective.

We decided to visit Chongzuo and Nanning before National Day. Because several of the attractions are quite far from each other, we opted for a group tour through Ctrip. The itinerary was moderately strenuous, making it suitable for elderly travelers.
Detian Waterfall was beautiful, but the scenery at Tongling Grand Canyon and Equan Spring was slightly affected by the typhoon. We didn't visit Dongna Island Bay.
I want to especially commend our tour guide, Brother Bing, for his thoughtfulness, thoroughness, and cleanliness. Every time we left, he would turn on the air conditioning and meet us at the exit early. We had plenty of free time and even enjoyed local delicacies. Throughout the trip, we felt he was always thinking about the customer. He made the trip so much better, and we were so happy!
The scenic area is large and the scenery is pleasant, but for tourists from other places who are visiting for the first time, the sightseeing bus is not very convenient. There are clearly marked parking places but you have to keep waving at them.

Going to Pingtang, Guizhou to see the Tianyan is a great parent-child learning activity. Some things you have to see with your own eyes and experience in person to feel how shocking they are. You must take the shuttle bus, otherwise you can't walk on such a long mountain road by yourself, and it's too dangerous with so many cars coming and going. After leaving Tianyan, we also went to the Nan Rendong Memorial Hall. To be honest, as an adult, I was very educated. It's good to bring children to such attractions more often.
The China Sky Eye Scenic Area is very large, and the various exhibition halls there sell tickets separately. Time was tight, so I could only take a quick look. Overall, it was good, introducing astronomical knowledge, and was both popular science and interesting.

Due to heavy rain a few days ago, the boat trip was suspended. I refunded my ticket and booked a land tour instead. The scenery was beautiful and perfect for photos. I didn't walk much, only about a third of the park. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to do the full boat tour.

The rafting entrance requires a 30-minute walk, which involves descending stairs. The rafting is relatively smooth, with a few small spots that give it a slight rafting feel, but the majority of the experience is paddling. We chose the free rafting option. Some of our group rowed their boats and got completely soaked, while others only got their feet slightly wet. Therefore, it's recommended to bring a change of clothes. After the rafting session, you'll need to walk up the stairs to the shuttle bus stop, which will take you to the parking lot. (Currently, the rafting session is over and the attractions are closed. Upon inquiry, we were told that the plank road is under maintenance, so you can only walk up the stairs back to the shuttle bus stop. If the repairs are complete, you can visit the attractions and then return directly to the shuttle bus stop.) You can leave your change of clothes in the car and change at the parking lot after the rafting session. There are cold showers in the changing rooms (the trip from the car park to the exit takes a total of 4 hours).
Rafting at the Gulongshan Grand Canyon was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. I missed the trip to Tongling Grand Canyon because the Detian Waterfall didn't release its water, which was a bit disappointing. I hope to make up for it next time. A partial refund for any unused portion of the package would have been even better.
